Dear Donnie,
You are the best. You come off as the most humble gracious man on the planet. I am so touched (albeit worried-childless mother here) that you worked so hard for us these last two years w/such a tremendous amount of pain. The gift of that sacrifice did not pass unnoticed. I am excited about the chance to get to see you at your west coast party, but please take time to take care of you. Your health is what matters. I landed in a wheelchair for 13 years over a sore that was no bigger than a quarter and it is the fight of my life to get back up on the braces. I am up for the challenge and you and the guys manage everyday to keep me up and motivated,but I wouldn’t wish the struggle on anyone-especially those I love and care for such as yourselves.
About the chair, thank you for making a person who sometimes feels invisible feel special-even attractive and desirable. That was no small feat. I’ve no idea how you managed it, but it was a gift I can never repay. I’ll spend the rest of my days trying.I love you and miss you. My best to Edub & the family.

Second: I miss you, too. But it feels like you are really close (duh, you ARE,can’t get much closer than straight into my heart, can you?)
I am not quite sure either how we survived all those years without each other, but I guess what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right

Hell, I did not know what I got myself into, when I became a New Kids fan back in the day.
And I knew even less what I was getting into in January 2008 when I heard “the rumours” and knew in my heart those were no rumours. It was as if I had almost forgotten how intense those feelngs had been back in the day.
And now I am being a teenager again! :-)))))))))))
I don’t know when it finally hit me/ dawned on me that there was not going to be a “break” after the end of the Full Service Tour. I felt like I needed some time to catch my breath. But you guys kept on tweeting the hell out of us fans. There was/is no time to catch my breath. And may I say, Thank God!!
This could all be so overwhelming, but it isn’t. It feels more and more natural each day, keeping in touch with my long lost brothers - even though it is a bit of an incestuous brotherly love I feel for you

My daughter, whose bday is Aug 13th, said her cousin was lucky because her bday was the day before yours. For some reason my kids are crazy about you:) Especially my 7 yr old. He had the “I LOVE YOU DONNIE” sign at the Nashville concert. Where you came down off the little platform and shook my kids’ hands. What was written on the sign was all his idea. Oh the wonderful memories you have made. Keep it up please!

Damn Donnie I never thought I could love you anymore then I already do, but your tweets and blogs always prove me wrong. Its a good thing Im single.. LOL! If I had another better half I couldn’t do it… LOL! Thank you for all that you do for us. Denver, well lets just say that I found you and I enjoyed meeting you for the first time in 20+ yrs and you made it so with the wait. All these 15 years never were an end to the love I feel for you. All these time I really wondered if you would turn to a different man or if I ever would know about your life again. But I can proudly see that you are the same sweet, nice and funny boy that I felt in love in 1989. You grew up and your talent and carrer grew up together. And you have beautiful kids! And all your soldiers, like me, are still here, crossing fingers for you. Because you deserve it!
I love twitter so much because now I can talk to you. It was so difficult when I was 16. I wrote you lots of letters (left some at the hotel when you came to Rock in Rio/Brazil), and always was looking for american magazines to know about you (it was the only way to have news actually). All these years, never stopped thinking about you! Never stopped to wish you all the good things you deserve!

I’ve just found an old pic of me from 1990. I was wearing a Celtics shirt and you can see parts of my NKOTB collection in the background. Already so many years ago you brightened up my world! But I guess I never expected that after so many years we would still be here together!!! I’m so thankful that you came back into our lives and that the relation between us became even stronger! So I was a lil mad…just a lil…well more sad I guess (I can never really be mad at you) because it seems I can’t meet u or get a tweet or twug or hug & then u do this & I love u all over again. But I can proudly see that you are the same sweet, nice and funny boy that I felt in love in 1989. You grew up and your talent and carrer grew up together. And you have beautiful kids! I love twitter so much because now I can talk to you. It was so difficult when I was 16. I wrote you lots of letters (left some at the hotel when you came to Rock in Rio/Brazil), and always was looking for american magazines to know about you (it was the only way to have news actually). All these years, never stopped thinking about you! Never stopped to wish you all the good things you deserve!

You have to know that we are the lucky ones. Just remember that the older you get the more blessed you become. Every year brings more family, more love, and best of all more friends. I love getting your tweets and the rest of the guys’. I love that you haven’t forgotten about us in your time off. We have made so many new friends, even ones just round the corner all through you guys. I don’t know how U can miss sum1 U don’t even know, but this Soldier thinks Twitter is the most wonderful thing invented! Even thow I feel as though my tweets get lost amongst my fellow 90,000+ Soldiers I still have hope that someday you will find time in your hectic schedule 2 read sum tweets & see sum of mine that might stand out & get sum attn & maybe a follow. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to tell all of you thank you for a while now. Last year was pretty awful for me personally. It was one thing after the other with my mother’s health. She was in and out of the hospital most of the beginning of last year but got better. Then we found out my aunt, her sister was sick and my grandmother was as well. To top all the other horrid events transpiring, my father lost his job and I had oddly enough gotten tickets to ya’lls concert in Atlanta on the 29th of October last year about a month beforehand. I told myself I would have a great time and just forget about everything and oddly enough it worked. I never dreamed that I would be having such a great time at a concert when everything else had gone so horribly wrong. When the tribute that was aired during that concert, it really made me think. All these horrible things have been happening to everyone and not just myself and that I needed to just live and be happy every day that was possible.
When your CD came out my mother actually commented me and asked me who was my favorite when I was younger again because of a commercial that had aired. I told her Joey and you and she laughed and told me that Joey looked too nice for me but that you looked like a smart-ass who would obviously be perfect for me because I needed someone like that in my life to keep me on my toes. The fact she was still thinking in those terms with you guys made me crack up and shake my head and tell her was a bit crazy. I also think personally this was because she liked Joey too, since she insisted on seeing every photo he was in at the June concert here in Atlanta this year.
I bring all this up to you personally because for some reason Jonathan’s entry made me feel like you guys open up to us so much so that we could to you guys as well. At the beginning of this month my mother passed away and I’ve been trying to figure out ways to deal with it ever since. It is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with, but I can’t help but listen to you guys and smile because I know that you guys made her as happy over the years as you’ve made me. I can’t listen to Dirty Dancing especially without thinking of her because it is a film she introduced me to at an age I probably shouldn’t have been viewing it in the first place. I remember when realizing that was what the song was about telling her about it immediately and her laughing at me before wanting to hear it.
I also feel that I should say that I’m not typing this to you for attention or anyone’s pity but merely to let you all know that its an incredible gift to still get along with your parents after a certain age. I’m twenty-five years old and I don’t think there’s a day of my life I haven’t talked to my parents, but to be able to sit down to watch an award show and see as much joy in her face as I knew was in mine as well just to be able to see you perform again as well as see her trying to remember lyrics to The Right Stuff from long ago is truly priceless and an amazing memory I will never forget.
So I not only thank you, but the entire group, for being a topic of conversation for my mother and I. Its a blessing that I have to admit I’ll never take for granted that’s for sure.

“Thank you” will never suffice to convey the appreciation I have for the return of the NKOTB. When a friend of mine told me you guys were gonna be at Mall of America last August, I thought she was trippin. 18 years ago all I wanted in life was to see you guys in concert. It didn’t matter if I’d be in the front row, the nosebleeds or hanging upside down from the rafters, as long as the six of us were under the same roof for a while, it would have meant the world to the little 3rd grader that I was back then.
That night at the mall, the little 3rd grader in me woke up and made me realize that I had to see you guys when you came back to St. Paul in October. I’ll never forget that night. I was intent on standing on my crutches the entire time if that’s what it took, even though I find it difficult to even walk across a room sometimes. Part way through the show someone from security came over to move me and my friend up front so I could see better without having to stand. I’d never been so shocked in my life! As I watched the rest of the show from just about front row, I sat there thinking to myself, “if this can be happening right now, anything is truly possible in this world”. It was truly an experience of a lifetime, topped off, by a wave and a smile from my boy from back in the day, D-Dub.
I know that waving at people is something you must do hundreds of times a tour, but I gotta be honest, that moment made up for 18 years of missing out, and it taught me that I never have to accept things as they are, because the craziest things have a way of happening when you least expect them. When D-Dub’s in the house, anything is truly possible!
Thank you, all of you, for taking the time from your lives to come back to all of us, to give us that second chance many of us never had, bringing us together like nothing and no one else could (I have friends in my life I never had a year ago…because of YOU!) and for being the pheonomenal bunch of guys I’d always dreamed you were, when we met in Des Moines back in April.
I’ll never forget this past year, and I look forward with much anticipation to what lies ahead.
Can’t wait to see you guys again! PLEASE come back to Minnesota!

I’ve been following you guys since 20 years ago, coming to study in the States, took a trip to Boston just trying my luck to see whether I would bump into you guys at da pizza place… and last year, flew 16 hours to see your concert in NY from Hong Kong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope to see you all in Asia, anywhere it doesn’t matter, at least the travel time is not as long and I won’t get jetlag!!

It has been so exciting to watch you guys make such a sucessful comeback….I have not been as fortunate to see you bk in concert yet….but look forward too soon…I am hoping if another tour is in the talks that OAHU,HAWAII will be on that list. What will it take to bring to guys back to paradise… for good old time sake?????? I keep waiting to hear the news hoping it wont be much longer.

On a purely selfish note and reppin’ for the British fans… can you guys please do a European cruise? Ya got a lotta huge and disappointed fans here as they couldn’t get on the site, let alone on the boat and some of us just can’t afford it. I hear the Med is quite lovely around April!!! 27th would be a good date but hey…. we (read I)can all dream of seeing you on our (read MY) birthday(s)!!

This is the first time I ever write you something, but I really can’t tell you how much you meant in my teenage years… All the NKOTB and you in particular. I remember having a HUGE… HUMONGOUS (did I misspell?) C R A S H on you. It may not be today news for you knowing that a girl had a crash on you in the 90’s, but it really meant A LOT to me… hahahahaha… It was the first time I ever felt something for a guy. It was platonic but it was REAL to me and of course it was “healthy”… hahahaha…
In 1992, I went to Boston (from Paraguay, South America, where I am from)… I remember asking everybody I could where I could find you… hahahahaha… Anyway, I made it till your front door in Dorchester and taking a picture of me in front of it meant like THE WORLD to me…
Then I felt in love with somebody else and “our romance” came to an end…
But it was beautiful. It was an awesome feeling. And I got married to somebody who looks like you!! I didn’t do it on purpose… it just happened that he looks like you!!!

Donnie your so awesome As I was saying to Jon on his blog I played your music from back in the days to my son Hes gonna be 5 in dec and hes very handycapped well he actually got on his hands and knees and was rocking back and forth to right stuff he hasnt done that before. So that being said that should bring a smile on all of your faces I know it did mine seeing my son do that. And yes please dont let 15 years go by Im so happy to see you guys singing again.

I read this and it brought tears to my eyes. I’m so glad to hear you say those words. It’s nice to know that you’ll always be around. You and the rest of the guys are my strength. Last few years have been rough, and your songs helped me through so much. And even now, I get my strength from you to push myself.
