When I found out that you Mom passed away when you guys reuniited last year, Danny, it made me stop and think of members of my family who passed away from this. I know that she passed a long time ago, but you know what?? She’s looking down @ you saying, “Get back to work”, and that’s what you’re doing??

Danny,
I know your mom must be smiling down from heaven right now and saying what a wonderful son you are. I know it is hard to lose someone you love. But, it makes it even more difficult when it’s your mom. I just want you to know that I truly am sorry for your loss. Your mom was and still is one lucky woman to have a son like you. Peace.

Danny, I appreciate all the time and effort you devote to this cause. I am really sorry for your Mom, and all the women who passed away from this terrible disease - and all the family members who had to deal with such a loss. It’s good to know that more and more people are aware, so many are involved and comforting to know that a lot of them really try to help to find a cure! If I could, I definitely would attend that party - but being this far away, I participate in whatever happens around us. This spring I went to the Avon- breast cancer walk with my Mom in Budapest - and it felt so good to do something. I would do it even if you were not ‘involved’ - but whenever it comes to breast cancer, unfortunately I think of your Mom and the Mom of a very close friend of mine - so in a way it felt, I’m doing something for you. Next year, I’ll hopefully wear my NEW KIDS breast cancer tank top - to help just a bit more.
I know it is not really comforting to you and it does not substitute your Mother’s caring love at all - but even if it feels painful, she may ‘had’ to pass away, so she can reach out to more people trough your kindness and goodwill. I don’t want to explain that everything happens for a reason - as I don’t believe it either, but maybe you find some comfort in this. She would be so proud of you I’m sure, as she had all the reason!
Whenever you come back to Europe, you should organize similar events here too. Think about it! And keep up the good work.
Love always,
Rita

Danny, I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I have always donated when I can, now I do it even more. We just found out that one of my friends breast cancer has come back. She will over come this terrible disease again. I wish I could be at the fund raiser. But trust this I will give time or money any time that I can. See you in Denver.
Love ya

DANNY IT IS WONDERFUL OF YOU TO USE YOUR CELEBRITY STATIS FOR A GOOD CAUSE. I HOPE ALL GOES WELL.NO MATTER HOW WE LOSE OUR MOMS’.IT HURTS MAINLY WHEN YOU HAVE AN ANGEL AS A MOM,AS I DID.HERE IS A POEM I WROTE AND I CHANGED IT AROUND ABIT,AND WOULD LIKE OTHERS WHO HAVE LOST THIER MOM RECENTLY TO READ IT./MY LESSON/ MANY YEARS HAVE COME AND GONE. MANY YEARS I LIVED WITHOUT MOM .MY MOST VALUABLE LESSON I MUST PASS TO YOU. IT HAPPENED SO QUICK IT HAPPENED SO FAST THE DAY I LEARNED MY MOM HAD PASSED. NOT A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE.TAKING FOR GRANTED MY MOST WONDERFUL TEENAGE LIFE.TO MUCH TO ASK TO MUCH TO SHARE.IT WAS MORE THAN HER PRECIOUS HEART COULD BARE.SHE HUGGED ME ONCE,KISSED ME TWICE,AND TO THIS DAY I SWEAR SHE KNEW AS I STOOD THERE AND TOOK FOR GRANTED MY MOMS LAST ADIEU.I MISS HER FACE, I MISS HER SMILE,MOM WENT AND WALKED THE HEAVENLY MILE.SO HERE IS MY LESSON I MUST PASS TO YOU.MANY YEARS HAVE COME AND GONE.MANY YEARS I STILL MISS MY MOM.DANNY I HAVE LEARNED TO CARRY MY MOM RIGHT IN MY HEART AND SHE IS ALWAYS WITH ME.MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. TAKE CARE

I have been a fan for 20 years and when I found that you lost your mom I felt like I lost some one in my family after seeing your mom in so many pictures back in the day I felt like I knew her. My grandmother has cancer and is not doing well I can now say I feel your pain because our family is now going through what you have went through. Thanks for making people aware of this horrible disease.THANKS

Danny
I am so glad that you have this platform to speak about breast cancer. My aunt who is more like a second mother to me had breast cancer and is now a 23yr survivor. When you guy came back I did a search for you online and found your Remember Betty website and the song My Angel, That song has helped me heal from loosing my Grandmother to Cancer and I wanted to tell you at the Meet and Greet on the 7th but I could bring myself to talk to you. I just want you to know how much you are helping your fans with awareness and helping others heal with your music like me.
Love and Prayers
