I love this song Joe. It is amazing to me that all of you guys really care about your fans. This song is one way to show it. Everytime I hear this song makes me cry everytime I hear it on youtube. You really need to record it so we can hear you w/o all the screaming fans. You are so amazing! You truly care and don’t take life for granted. I was afraid when I heard the NKOTB was coming back that it would fall through…I am so glad it hasn’t. You guys mean alot to me and have brought joy back to me. I was stuck in a rut in my life. I have had alot of misfortunes…but god only deals you a hand that you can handle. It has been rough at times…expecially after my mom died in 1998 and I was a senior in HS. Thank you for coming back into my life. I can safely say that everyone loves you!

Everytime I read the lyrics, or hear this song it makes my heart swells a thousandfold over. You keep thanking us for everything but we should thank you all for wanting to do this again, and for bringing back the magic summer we’re all about to embark on, you and us both! For all those years we were all be bopping to your music, and thoroughly enjoying it all, we appreciate it so much more now as adults.
I have loved everything this past year so much. It has given me avenues to escape to when real life simply isn’t much fun sometimes. When the grind of work stress seems to sometimes overwhelm us, when the craziness of our families seems to be pressing, the music is stable, it’s constant and it’s there with us no matter what.

That is so beautiful! I know I’m a “cryer” but that made me tearful for sure.
For this past year I have wondered if you truly, truly understand how much we all love you and how much your renunion “really” meant to all of us, those lyrics showed that you really do get it (don’t know why I EVER doubted it).
For so many of us, your renunion couldn’t have come at a better time, many of us married with children, dealing with stressful jobs, the horrible economy, the failing health of our parents, watching our friends stuggle in their marriage, etc. Then, you all come along and we can re-connect with our friends and bask in the old memories of our carefree childhoods to remember the times of going to our bedrooms, putting an NKOTB tape in the tapedeck, and staring at our NKOTB posters with stars in our eyes forgetting about “the real world”, and now it’s like deja vu all over again and it’s great. It’s just better this time around becuase we’re older and go to as many shows as we wants (cause our parents can’t tell us “no”), stay in hotels with our girlfriends after a show and remember all of those sleepovers we had together as young girls.
This is also a time of great electronics because we can go to places like MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc and meet tons of other Donnie/Danny/Jordan/Jonathan/Joey fans from all over the world that feel the same way we do that we would have otherwise never had the pleasure of meeting.
There are times that I think, “all good things must come to an end” and I wonder with your own lives, children, etc when this “good thing” will end becuase reality and life will want you all to move on to something else, but I can’t think about that now. I/we must be happy as the time is NOW.
When I met you all on 4/3/09 in columbus ohio it was one of the best nights of my life. It was something that I had been dreaming about since I was a young girl, my friends at work even tried to “prepare me” just in case it wasn’t what I had expected because you always hear the horror stories about people meeting stars and them being jerks and my friends didn’t want me to have these high hopes and be disappointed. Well, just the opposite happened, you all were just as I had expected: wonderful, gracious, polite, kind, and (is it really possible…)but even freakin’ hotter in person (OMG). I got what I came for, which was a picture (which is now an 8×10 in my house) and Donnie’s autograph on my lower back which is now tattooed on. You all are so freakin awesome to your fans, and without sounding cliche, I WILL be loving you forever.

I absolutely love! i know when i heard the medley during the Spring tour that i really liked the sound of the song but now to be able to read the full version and watching it on youtube - it means so much more to me! Thank you for writing about this experience - this reunion and new friends i’ve made is like nothing i’ve had in a long time.

So I’ve been trying to find the best place to post in hopes that one of the guys might actually see it…
I had a dream the night before I saw you guys in Fresno. You were performing in the space right behind my seat. I turned around and thanked you all for getting back together. I politely shook your hands and repeated my thanks. I woke up thinking what a loser I was. I saw your show the next night and had such an amazing time that I drove down to L.A. for another. I went with two of my childhood best friends that were with me at the last concert I went to of yours 19 years ago. We had the best time. You truly look and sound better than ever. The energy in each place was electric. I had more fun than I have had in I don’t know how long! So, cheesy as it sounds, I really do want to thank you for getting back together. You are bringing such happiness to ladies everywhere. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to leave your families for such long periods, but know that those sacrifices are acknowledged and appreciated.
Joey, this song is amazing on so many levels. I enjoyed it at the show but reading the lyrics actually made me shed a tear. You five are fabulous and I wish you nothing but continued success!

I got to see you in Santa Barbara on the 17th after waiting 15 years to see you it was great my sis and I drove from Bakersfield to Santa Barbara and it was well worth it I would do it a million times again it was a great experience that I got to share with my sister. I want to hear it to music! You know what makes you so cool, first everything, but besides all that, you do love your fans, your success, fame, music making, performing, all of it. And really from where you came from and your situation maybe only the one kid with money (joe) from the right side of the tracks, who was already doing plays so young would have had a chance at this for real without being discouraged, or having to just do what you have to do to survive. Even if that would have been great, and something successful, the stars lined up for you all so you could be a part of history, and now the present. Can I say also, doesn’t it bug you that MTV down plays your success on those I love the 80’s and 90;s?? I mean it was mass mania! It was everywhere, and it was just HIGH ENERGY. We were obsessed fans. I know I taped every little peice of media I saw you on. I had magazines,and just, was obsessed. We are not the typical fans. Love you guys! Thanks for another fan song, one is never enough. Tonight is the past and this one is the present.

I think a common experience a lot of the fans share is having the new kids sing us through very difficult childhoods (or “teenhoods”).
We grew up with pain, turmoil and trauma, and when we let the NKOTB into our hearts, we could forget all that, and just feel good.
I did not realize how deeply that experience had touched me until the comeback.
And you’re doing it all over again. Even better than before.
It feels so good.

~That is SOOO SWEET!~ My day was a little wacky, and this just made it all better.;) I never stopped believing and dreaming. When I saw it on the news, I screamed like a little girl. I have NEVER done that, not even for knowing that I was going to a Joey McIntyre concert in 2000. Sorry Joey, you had always been my fav, still love ya! So I’ve been trying to find the best place to post in hopes that one of the guys might actually see it…
I had a dream the night before I saw you guys in Fresno. You were performing in the space right behind my seat. I turned around and thanked you all for getting back together. I politely shook your hands and repeated my thanks. I woke up thinking what a loser I was. I saw your show the next night and had such an amazing time that I drove down to L.A. for another. I went with two of my childhood best friends that were with me at the last concert I went to of yours 19 years ago. We had the best time. You truly look and sound better than ever. The energy in each place was electric. I had more fun than I have had in I don’t know how long! So, cheesy as it sounds, I really do want to thank you for getting back together. You are bringing such happiness to ladies everywhere. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to leave your families for such long periods, but know that those sacrifices are acknowledged and appreciated.
