You’re b-day, the cruise, Jordan’s b-day on the cruise, my friends b-day the day of the cruise, and another friend has one the last day of the cruise. Wow! I hope you all have a fun night, wish I could be there but being a nurse in the UK certainly doesn’t stretch to those prices. I’m blame the Prime Minister over here…. Never mind you could always pop over here and have a British Birthday Bash after the cruise if you wanted. I’m sure there would be heaps of us that would gladly come along and help you celebrate UK style!!!

I wish I could be there but I have to miss the cruise and this party because I could possibly be in labor having my baby girl. You have no idea how much I would love to be there to celebrate your b-day Danny and to raise money for such a wonderful cause. We are actually expecting our first baby on that very day though!
It’s the same reason I am also missing out on the cruise!!! The things we give up for our children huh? 
All the same, it will be honor if he comes on your b-day…or even the 17th would work too.

I truly which the 5 of you the best of luck finding true fans with that kind of money to celebrate Danny’s birthday.
In this Economy it is very hard just to find money to pay for rent.
I do want to wish you luck finding a 6 real fans to pay $15,000 just so 2 people from the group can bring a cake to Danny.
I thought it was about the fans not to see how much a fan will be willing to pay to get to see u up close, meet u, or to bring a cake to u.
I was at the Columbus concert then went to Sugar Bar and spent $15 to get in to see Donnie up on a platform for like 3 mins. then disapear.
I am not doing it anymore. I have more things to worry about then making sure you can afford your high class life now.
It has been fun but for me the journey is over.
I do not mean to be harsh and I still love you all but I can’t do it anymore. I know there probably will be comments from other fans but I just wanted to let everyone know how some fans feel.

Whooaaa! I don´t usually say much on these blogs but the last blog from cyndy296 really needs to be addressed…
First of all I understand your frustration; understand that you just want to be part of the fun and maybe cannot afford it in this economy, but this is not about being a true fan or not. This birthday event is about raising money for a wonderful cause, NOT about supporting a high class lifestyle. In fact, the entire purpose of the event is to raise as much money as possible to donate to cancer research.
First of all, I think it is obvious that these guys truly appreciate their fans and work there asses off to the extent that they are going to donate an entire evening worth of work and profit to a good cause. I call that generosity. They are always working hard, and never seem to sleep… (Don´t you get twitter messages from the boys on the west coast in the middle of the night and again from east coast boys first thing in the morning?) They don´t need to do that, they barely sleep, and that is true dedication to their fans!
Anyway, the point is that you should try to keep positive. If you can´t make it to one event, go to another. Do what you can. Life is about choices…and as bad as I would love to bring Danny his cake on his birthday and actually can afford it, I have chosen to pay my tuition for my doctorate instead. I am happy with that choice. So make a choice that works for you and feel good about it, stay positive and please don´t say that the journey is over because really, I think it has just begun!
Ohhhh and Happy Birthday hotpants!!! I wouldn´t miss it for the world!

it’s true that it’s very very expensive and i couldn’t it allow myself either (unless be be millionaire ah ah )but if somebody can take this table so much the better for Susan g komen .
it’s necessary to say to itself that it’s for a good cause and on no account of some money wasted for stupidities and it’s necessary to support these foundations ,the research medical because it’s very important ,we need these researches and the supports some day ………………..

cyndy296, Please know that it’s not about them making money off of this. This whole year has been about them offering us opportunities. That is why they are on tour, on TV, online, and on Twitter. It is so everyone has a chance to participate. I am on Twitter and having so much fun hearing about their day to day lives and the things they are doing for US! I have gone to several concerts, but I am not buying the t-shirts or going on the cruise or any after parties. It’s about choosing what you want to participate in. They love us if we do everything or nothing. This experience is once in a lifetime and we have had it twice. Please take it for what it is. Wishing you well, Carey

Let’s not forget, cyndy296, that this is not about “the money” or their “high class life”. Don’t you get it? These guys do so much for us!! They put their families on hold for an entire year!!! They took a HUGE risk in reuniting. But they did because they love to bring joy to us and they love the joy we bring to them. Yes, this economy sucks. No, all of us cannot afford to go on EVERY NK adventure… but there are those who can (and I’m not saying I am one of them). There are many inexpensive ways to enjoy our Guys and to support them. Remember, Danny’s birthday is about raising money for a CURE, not about their “high class life” style.

I wanna say how wonderful I think it is for you to be such a big supporter of finding a cure for this horrible disease. You, and the other 4 Beantown babes, are truly wonderful to support this cause. I know that it is in honor of your mom, and I am sure she is smiling down on you everyday so proud. I am truly sorry for the loss that you have recieved in her journey to heaven… My mother was diagnosed 25 years ago this year, when I was only 7. She is still in remission, for which I am thankful… however, I have lost lovved ones to this as well, and it is never an easy thing… If i had the means to get to your birthday party, I would find the way to do it. 1: to support it’s cause, & 2: to support a man who’s celebrating his birthday (the same day as my mama, by the way!

Damn I was just reading the old blogs and alot of people jumped on that 1 girl. I agree with some of what’s she’s saying. These things cost ALOT of money. I understand that the guys are working their butts off for the fans but what about the fans that can’t do all this? Show tickets are crazy money now a days(worse are all the fees to buy the ticket), & if you buy the 5* it doesn’t even mean you’ll meet the guys. The cruise is crazy money just for a few days. People can’t afford gas for their cars to get to work, much less travel to see them in cities. I’ve been a fan for 23 years and I wish I could go to see all they have to offer. I booked the cruise, flight & hotel..only to lose my job last week. Plus I bought tickets to go to Toronto & a night’s stay at a hotel & now I don’t have a job to pay for it. Every fan deserves to see them…somehow. NKOTB have all the money they need…the true diehards deserve to see the best group that has ever been around. Maybe lowing ticket prices would be a start…
I hope I don’t have tons of people yelling at me now but this is stuff people talk about at the shows. I hope to have an awesome time on the cruise next week..& then figure out how to cover it all. I just want everyone to have the chance to see them & experience everything..this may be it. There may not be any more chances. Every fan needs to be able to say “I saw them”…at least once. I wish everyone that oppertunity!
