I am so ready for 2009. 2008 was like a dream come true, I finally got to enjoy your concerts live, I didn’t get to the first time around. I will never forget it. I hope you guys have a wonder New Year and a great time in Europe, I wish I could come, but I have grad school. =)

For me, 2008 was the most amazing time of my life. The anticipation from May all the way to October was insane and the actual show was phenomenal!!!!!
I’m so looking forward to what lies ahead in 2009! Hubby already told me that I have “NKOTB Freedom!”

Happy New Year to the all of you!!! I was so happy to hear that you guys were coming back!!! You made my year up until October 10, then it went down from there. After a long battle, my grandmother passed away 2 days after Thanksgiving and 3 hours ago, my aunt passed away in the Philippines. The last 2 months have been rough with so many people passing away (at least 5 more than the 2 I mentioned)…I just hope next year will be a better year for all!!!

Donnie,Danny,Jordan,Joe and Jon. Though the years that my kids were born were absolutely the best years of my life, you 5 made 2008 one the best years also!! Thank you guys for giving us a reason to get excited again! I know for myself I have missed you so much and when the rumors started circulating I was afraid to believe in them. I didn’t wanna let myself believe in the chance of a reunion only to get my hopes dashed again. But then….it happened…and 2008 became the happiest year of my life. The year my dreams finally came true. Meeting you in Detroit Oct. 25th will always be remembered as the best day of my life. After I had bought the VIP tickets I went around for months afraid something would happen to me the day before the concert and I wouldn’t be able to go..LOL..I’m such a pessimist. But, it didn’t. I drove a little more carefully for that time so maybe that helped..LOL.
In any case,for all of you…this is the impact you made on me:
Joe, I still don’t remember if I even said anything to you. I had my 8 yr old son, Duncan, with me and Robo had said to go to the one you love and I was going to head to Jordan, but we ran into you first and you stopped Duncan, said, “Hey Buddy” and high-fived him. I was captivated by your gorgeous blue eyes-even better in person-and got a hug from you, but I wish I could remember if I said anything to you. I think I was just kinda in shock-you being the first NK I got to meet and…of course, strikingly handsome.
Danny, you were next…I know you read this on myspace so I won’t go into great detail but to say thank you for the hug and that you truly surprised me. You are a sweet sweet man..and sexy as heck!
Jonathan, thank you for striking up a conversation with me. How important you made me feel! YOU wanted to talk to ME!! LOL…you guys just have no concept at how we, the fans look at things! Thanks for the wonderful bear hugs! And thank you most of all for doing this for us! We all love you and NEVER let anything ANYONE says or writes about you get you down! We, the true fans, love you no matter what!
Donnie D…well…I totally went all that way to Detroit thinking about and hoping for my Donnie hug and never got one! But what I got was SOOO very valuable indeed! You are the most gracious, kind, polite, and INTENSE person I have ever met! You made me forget that the man of my dreams, Mr. Jordan Knight, was standing right next to me!!! Holy Cow! I didn’t think anything in the world could do that! Thank you for paying such attention to me…for taking the book I brought you from Vanessa and for at least answering Duncan’s question(when he asked who was tallest). I’m sad that he didn’t talk to you more cause he looks up to you SOOO much! He wants to BE you! He calls himself Duncan Wahlberg..lol..but he kinda froze up-maybe we’ll get lucky enough to get another chance someday-who knows. Anyway, thank you.
Jordan…well…there’s too much personal stuff to say here. I can only hope Danny shared the myspace letter with you. Anyway, thanks for being so sweet and cute to my son. Duncan will never forget your advice and is very careful now to never eat too many “Dunkin Donuts” so he won’t get a “stomach-ache” and thank you most of all for making my dreams come true. For letting me hear you say my name, smiling that sexy smile at me, and giving me the hug I dreamed about all my life…and of course, for the awesome pic I got to be in between you and your bro. (I call it the Knight sandwich…LOL) Best place in the world-heaven on earth.

But seriously, after everything you all have to done for all you fans and for me (in countless ways) in 2008, I can’t even fathom what 2009 will bring!! Almost a lil fearful that after all the experiences and friends I’ve encountered this year(and I eternally gr8ful for that)I don’t know if I’ll be able to join in next year:(
But as I did this year, I will leave all of it to fate! If I do get the chance I know it will be awesome and im excited of what is to come. Thank you for making 2008 a year I won’t soon forget.
I wish you all the success and happiness in 2009 that you so deserve, you have made so many people feel amazing and special, and I am indebted to you for making me feel like I matter to y’all on November 1st.
I wanted to especially thank you, Donnie for that “Bus-tage” experience. Because of you, I was able to meet Jonathan and Jordan again. I don’t know how to properly thank you for that, really, and I want you to know that every day I think of what you did. Yes, it was THAT important, but more important for me is the fact that you willingly would do something like that for ME.
The woman who went in through those gates is most definitely not the same person that came back out. You and the Boys restored my faith in the goodness of people and made me feel important.

Thanks guys for making 2008 one of the most exciting years ever. 2008 has been all about patiently awaiting on you guys to finally make mine and many others’ dreams come true in the UK - to see the wonderful New Kids On The Block once again in concert. 2009 for me is gonna be a blast! Love you boys!! Was that filmed in Boston on 28th Sept? Coz it looks like it to me…coz I was there…anyway I can’t wait to see you in UK next month. I want to let you know that this year for 2008 was the BEST time of my entire life. Esp seeing you all in concert for the 1st in like 14 or 15 years which was my 2nd time seeing you all again. I just can’t wait to see what you all have in store for us again this year for 2009. Once you guys hit DC again if you do, which I hope, I’m going. Even if I have to take the next day off from work. 2008 was an amazing year. 2008 started off high stress for me. It turned out that so many great things manifested. I thank God for His many blessings. He is faithful & an awesome God. Happy New Year’s guys!
2008 was a pretty good year for me all-around, for which I’m thankful. You guys shouldn’t underestimate the role you played in that — I’ve seriously lived out some dreams this year that my 10-year-old self never would have imagined could ever come true.
And really, I didn’t see this coming at all…I heard the rumors in January, and suddenly I was spending a whole lot of my 2008 time and money on the New Kids (so, SO WELL SPENT!). Who ever would have guessed??
I’m soooooo ready for 2009. Already saving! I’m going every single place I can possibly go. Can’t wait. Love you guys!

I know you all will probably not see this but I just wanted to write it anyway. My grandfather passed away before Christmas and we buried him Christmas Eve and it got me thinking a lot and I decided to email everyone I love and care about to tell them how much I appreciate them. I know this is a whole bar of cheese but I wanted to say thank you for being in my life. I have been the biggest fan since I was 5 (first concert was yours and i was a little peanut running up trying to get to Donnie so he would sing cover girl to me…unfortunalty security got in the way of my mission to the stage haha) Your music makes me smile all the time and I appreciate you guys making music then and now…I will be a NKOTB fan forever and always. I thought the album & shows would be good …but you blew me away!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. You should be really proud of yourselves…the music, singing & dancing were the best you’ve ever done. 2008 was the best year that I’ve had in a really long time. First hearing that the New Kids were reuniting, meeting Donnie and Joe at the MMVAs on my birthday, going to all 3 concerts in September and meeting them again backstage. My 15 year dream came true this year and I will never forget it. 2009 can only get better if the boys come back to Toronto.
Joe\Danny\Jordan\Jon\Donnie - I love you all and can’t get enough of you. You are the greatest boy band ever!!! Happy New Year to you and your families. Can’t wait to see you again soon.

Hey Fellas! Happy New Year!I’m so excited for you guys to see what 2009 brings you. I was so shocked to be searching You Tube and saw a video for “Dirty Dancing”. Of course it appears to mostly be in German (I think??), except for the song : ). Congrats on the camio, hope the movie comes out in the US and I hope that gets us another hit video to watch on the Music TV Channels soon, the song is one of my favorites from the album!! You guys look great! Hope you guys plan another trip to Phoenix, so this time I can get some Face Time! 11th row was good, but nothing would beat 1 on 1! Luv ya guys! Be safe!

I have responded to this blog before, but I realized that I have something else to say.
I have to tell you all something..I just broke up with my off and on again boyfriend for eight years (finally realized it was not going anywhere) and I was really confussed/sad over it…that is untill I listened to “Single”. The song comforted me, gave me energy to go on, and gave me hope. The song made me realize that I am going to be ok. “You don’t gotta be alone, I’ll be your boyfriend” made me think. Why am I stressing over this guy? There is a million guys who would love to be my boyfriend. I truely believe that there are guys out there who would gladly be my boyfriend. When you are with someone for so long, you start to think that no one else will get you the way they did. “Single” showed me differently. GOD, why couldn’t I have been single in the club that night??!!! I need some face time!! You all have no idea how NKOTB have affected my life!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING BACK INTO OUR LIVES!!!!!!!!!

Have I mentioned that I feel priviledged AND blessed to be born in the year that I was born in?? If I was born five years earlier, I may not have not have been old enoug to be around during the NKOTB days!!!!!! I was talking to someone the other day and I asked if they knew of NKOTB and they told me they were only 8 years old..they told me they remember hearing about NKOTB, but they never really knew about them. THANK GOD I do!!! You all truely have no idea what kind of impact you all had!! I am a person who has to have everything perfect. Grades, clean house, job, etc. I mostly spend my free time completing all tasks that have not been done completely and perfectly. Well, when I found out about NKOTB, I let all of that go!! I had homework due, I had cleaning to do, I had stuff to file, etc, but you know what….all of that stuff went down the dwain. I forgot everything!!!!

Thank you, sincerely, for bringing it back in 2008. I live in Toronto but grew up in Nova Scotia, where I never had the chance to see you guys in concert (which broke my heart), so my friends from home and I were absolutely thrilled to finally get to see you — your first full-length show since reuniting, no less! And we nearly LOST IT when, sitting in floor seats towards the back, all of a sudden the B stage appeared and there you were, right next to us!! Because it was your first show on the tour, we had no idea that was coming! We were crazy surprised, it was nuts.
That was as close as I got to some Face Time, but it was pretty freakin’ close, and I’ll cherish it forever. The show was obviously incredibly special for us, but what made it even more momentous was knowing how special it was for you guys — your first full-on, this-ain’t-just-a-5-minute-medley-this-is-for-real concert since before. It was a real honour to share that experience with you and be part of the crowd to give you a proper welcome back and show you the love is as strong as ever.
We caught your 3rd Toronto show also, and you can count on us coming out again if you come back in 2009… You started the tour here, after all; what a perfect place to end it ; )
