Hey All,
Just wanted to take a second to say Happy Holidays to all of you!!!
Its been an amazing year for me and I hope it has been one for you too!
I hope in some small way- we may have done something to help bring a smile to some of your faces.
I can tell you that meeting so many of you, hearing the kind stories you shared, feeling the love from you, has brought so much joy to me.
I owe so much to so many of you.
I don’t want to get sappy here- but there were so many monents to look back on…
So many fun meetings…
So many fun moments…
From Ping Pong Girl, to the Waffle House Girls, to my pal Ryan in Toronto, and on and on and on….
2008 started out as one of the toughest years of my life…. But damn it finished well!!!!
At holiday time… I am so grateful to all of you for that.
So now I gotta go on a mission to do the same for you in 2009!!!!!!!

Donnie, you have brought SO many smiles to my face this past year - at times when I thought I couldn’t possibly smile. Oh your blog makes me SO EXCITED!!!! I was on a high from your guys’ performance here in Edmonton, AB on November 18 that took me weeks to come down from. Well then once “reality” sunk in, I started to get sad that all the excitement was over with for now. But reading you really confirm for REAL that we will see you again just THRILLS me. I heard Jordan on E say that you guys were coming back in late spring & I crossed my fingers so tight that that was true!! Thank you for further confirming that!! I’ve been networking w/ so many people as I did not have enough TIME so I will see you guys again & again & again in 2009. Thank you for extending my DREAMS!!

Donnie, I am so glad 2008 is ending on a good note for you! It is ending for me on a good note as well.. I had some issues and well my oldest three will be home for Christmas this year, they missed it last year. Now I have a new little one? Her first Christmas coming up!

Oh Donnie, Donnie, Donnie….don’t you know you put a smile on my face in a HUGE way? Every single day that happens. Even more so I haven’t been able to stop smiling after the SLC show. Even though I didn’t get to meet you guys it was a dream come true for me to have won the front row seats 3 days before the show! Being so close was amazing, I only wish I had thrown my Donnie shirt to you instead of Joey, but boy you make me nervous! Thank you and all the guys so much for such an amazing year. I have loved you guys since I was 6 years old and I waited 18 long years to see you. It was well worth the wait! I’m not ready for it to be over and I hope you guys aren’t wanting it to be over either. I’m looking forward to ‘09, I will get my Face Time this time around! I sat here and watched a video on youtube from when you guys were at the apollo, and i teared up a bit. That time in my life was fantastic. My friends and i getting together,singing the songs. having a great time…then it was gone. somethings have come close but nothings been the same. then …searching for nkotb i found a web site…and time passed,& the rumors about a reunion…could it be??? yes! and i went to the houston show, and i felt that joy, that kind of joy from a precious memory.and it was there again…thank you for bringing that piece of my heart back.I love what you guys are doing. and my family,myself, and im sure all of the blockheads out there wish you much love,peace,and happiness for the holidays and the years to come.

I should say the same to you Donnie! You guys really made my YEAR October and November I had the TIME of my life. Meeting ya’ll for the first time in NOLA at the M&G and getting a couple of kisses was WOW then meeting you all two weeks later in ATL, GA was better cause ya’ll honestly remember me with the thousands of fans ya’ll just take the time to appreciate and give mad love! There was also SLC, UT 11/18 and getting to meet ya’ll again WHAT you would have thought!!!! Seriously 15 years ago as a teenager I NEVER in my WILDEST dreams could have imaged the experiences I had with ya’ll. YOU GUYS DESERVE THIS BREAK AND I ONLY WISH I’D BE HEADING TO PARIS, France LOL. WOW you sure now how to put a smile on our faces. 09 will be bigger and better, and there is NO WAY you are going to be walking away from all the love. This reunion is more then you making more money, it’s about old friends spedning time together. A friend (who’s not a big fan) made the road trip with me up to the Tacoma Dome from Portland. We spent the whole way there and back just talking. It was a very ggod feeling to know that our friendshop meant so much to both ouf us that she lost her hearing sitting in the Tacoma Dome with screaming 30somthing women who were drooling over the men on the stage.
It’s snowing and very cold here in Scappoose (outside of Portland, Oregon), but you made it a little warmer hinting about another round of facetime. I will be going again…and this time will have VIP tickets…I don’t care how much it costs. I AM GOING!!!!!!!!!!! I still crank up Single, Grown Man, and other songs in the car. I can’t listen to it quiet anymore.
Well I hope you have a great holiday season. Are you staying in LA or going home to Boston’s cold weather? Either way, it’s all about family time during the holidays, not the presents, decorations or the food. Family and friends need their facetime…but after the New Year back on.

You made my year a lot brighter too!! So many things were going wrong this year until October 8th!! I wish that night would have never ended! Please come back to L.A. you know it’s beautiful here in the “Summertime”! We need a summer tour to keep the party going in 2009! I will sooo be there! I have been laughed at so much when I tell people I went to see you guys and actually paid to get floor seats. I don’t care laugh all you want! I am not ashamed to say I have been a fan forever and will be forever!! I proudly wear my property of Donnie shirt. I don’t know if you actually read all of these Donnie… just know that I smile and get choked up everytime I think of that night at the Staples Center. I will never forget!!

Honey, my batteries are already re-charged. I am looking forward to getting some FACETIME, since I didn’t get any this go round. Make sure you come back to the Washington, DC area, although I will travel……like I did this year.
This has been one of the best years in my life time, thanks to your comeback. My husband thanks you, too. He told me that he has never seen me this head over heels for something since my wedding and when my son was born. It has been a long time and I thank you for that. It definitely brought back many memories of the teenage years and I have re-connected with so many friends and have met some wonderful new friends in return. The next thing is to meet you and the rest of the guys and get that FACETIME!!!!!!!!!! I have a big hug and kiss waiting for you in 2009.

Happy Holidays Donnie! This year started out rough for me as well. I lost my mom in March when a tree fell thru her home. and we have been to 7 funerals total this year alone. Donnie, you sure know how to get a girl excited! LOL. I don’t know how it is that you can make me feel like a teen again everytime I even think of you, but you do! I wish I was in Boston to see some of the filming of Bunker Hill. Been enjoying the pictures and reports from fans that are there though. Can’t wait for the next thing in LA and for the concerts in 2009. This has been an AMAZING year for all of us fans. I can tell you for sure, without a doubt in my mind, that 2008 has been the best year yet in my life. I hope 2009 can live up to that!

I didnt get to get my face time in Tacoma like I had hoped, but you guys rocked the house, so I cant really be dissapointed. Now that 2008 is almost over and we have comfirmation about a summer tour, I have already started a 5* fund so I can meet you. My husband has resigned himself to his fate of having to share his wife with you…lol, and is going to help me in my quest for 5*… He says its my christmas and birthday presents, I think for the rest of my life…lol. Oh Well, You are totally worth it..

You are just the best, and I am forever grateful that you guys are on the road again. I’m sure it was a welcome distraction, and it’s only getting better. YOU are getting better. You deserve all the happiness and success that life brings you- Lord knows you’ve worked that precious booty off for it night after night, and I (and a million other of your “supporters”) get to reap the benefits- so yay for me too!
One more thing- I have the bowl coming that you guys signed at the AMA’s. I am so happy that you participated in that event- this time of year is so bad for so many people, and no child should ever have to go without. So thank you-I will keep it forever. A SMALL WAY??? hell no! what you did for all of us was Phenomenal!!!! The impact of the NKOTB return on all of us was completely life altering…just as you’ve all reconnected with us and experienced many memorable event and old and new fans…we’ve reconnected with a life we thought had left or had never known we could have…the friends we’ve met and the places we’ve gone have all been because of what you’ve brought to us this year. Hope you have a Merry,Merry Christmas, Donnie and an awesome New Year. 2008 has been great - NKOTB got back together, what more can I say. 2009 is gonna be even better. Where will I be at in 2009? Well, on Friday 16th January, in Manchester, I will finally be getting to experience FACETIME for myself and getting the long-awaited privilege to see the best boyband of all time - NKOTB in concert and I’ll be sharing this experience with my 8 year-old daughter who has become one of your biggest, younger fans. Then FACETIME continues on Sunday 18th January, in Glasgow - I get to meet NKOTB again!!!! and watch them perform again!!!! (I am sooooo excited just writing about this). Then, finally (but hopefully not for the last time - please include the UK in your future plans) I will be seeing those 5 amazing men again on 25th January, in London. 2009 looks like it is gonna be the best year ever. How many weeks is it now til you guys hit the UK? About 4. The wait is almost over. Anyways see you soon. Have a great Christmas.

Seriously Donnie, no THANK YOU! You all have made my life much more enjoyable, especially for the past few months! Since I saw the announcement that you were reuniting, I was ready to scream. Then at Zootopia in May…I almost passed out from the excitement(no really I hyperventilated)I felt from seeing you all again. Then came the CD signing….hugs? OMG…to die for. All of you made me feel wonderful with those hugs. Not to mention the special treatment my daughter got while you were leaving. The concerts…WOW. You pointing to my daughter’s “Donnie-I want to be your Cover Girl” poster while singing “The one I love” during My Favorite Girl and nodding your head at her at the IZOD was a high point for her. You made a 10 year old very happy. TWICE! And Madison Square Garden??? What a show!!!! The only thing that could have made it better was getting face time after waiting outside for 2 hours in the rain after that show. I never did get my kiss =*( This is why I am soooo happy to hear that you are all NOT stopping and that the party will continue in 2009!!!

I’ve said it before, but just to respond to your post - you definitely gave me something to smile about in 2008, and it was no ’small’ thing. Because of the 5 of you, 2008 had some of the most incredible, exciting, happy moments of.. possibly my life. It was actually a pretty bad year for me too, you aren’t alone in that… but you’re also not alone in taking away really wonderful memories because of this reunion and tour. I don’t know how to thank you all enough, I really don’t. I just hope I’m able to see you again and express how grateful I am sometime in 2009.
While we’re recharging our batteries, I hope you’re doing the same! I don’t think our excitement is going to let up any time soon, so you’re gonna need all the energy you can muster to handle us next year!

Althgh my competitive side faulted me in not making it 2 MSG, I did @ least stand outside the Garden (knwg tht u all weren’t cmg out 4 some x) 2 feel the energy resonating from the inside. LOL! D, my battery is gonna b nice n ready 4 ya’ll in ‘09, so don’t disappoint NY-MSG in Sum ‘09. Giving us grown ass women anotha chance 2 relive our adolescent days was more than we cld ask 4. If u all dcide 2 end evrythg after the Sum’ 09 tour, I wld greatly undrstd, as it was alrdy a HUGE deal 2 evn make this thg hppn 1 more again. No sweetie, IT’S OUR X; urs as well as ur fans. U got us focused in ‘08, now in ‘09 the fans WILL bring it. Da baby daddy bus #2 (BDB2) has 2 b on n pottin. Oh, n bring lots of ammonia, pine, n lysol 4 the pole. We in this 4 ‘09…ya’ll ain’t ready, but u hv plenty of x 2 get ready. The UK can’t put it down like the States…so come get this in ‘09.

Those are some very lucky people to get some personal shout-outs from you. I bet that you just made their entire holiday. I’m not going to hide it…I’m jealous. They made such an impact on you that, in you’re not wanting to get “sappy”, they were the three that came to your mind to acknowledge. Lucky them.
I am concerned about ‘09 for several reasons. Not many that I will share in a public comment. I will send you a private message via the community but you said that you don’t read messages so i can only hope that whoever is moderating it, passes it on to you.
The funny thing about this is that a friend & I were at dinner last night & we were talking about if/when you would write a blog before the year was out. Your timing is impeccable.
Where am I going to be at New Year’s? Home. A day like any other. I know that you & Danny will be partying it up at Jet. A part of me wishes that I could be there but then I remember the disaster of LAX and Vegas and its better that I can’t afford it.
I might be at the Celtics game at Christmas so maybe we’ll cross paths then
.
It probably goes without saying but I miss you. And I hope November 26th doesn’t turn out to be the last time that we ever cross paths.
You’ve given me a lot of smiles since August (I met you before then but hopefully you remember why August is significant) and I’ll never forget that.

Donnie what can i say. Not in a million years did I think I would ever see you guys in concert. I was a 8 year old girl with lots of dreams when you guys came out. You guys brought so much joy into my life this year. You made me feel 8 again. I’ll never really be able to express how excited I was when I found out you guys were reuniting. It was an unbelievable moment for me. As well as for you guys, i’m sure. It was a rough year for my family and I know that 2009 is gonna be awesome!!!! 2008 was an AMAZING year and we/ I have you to thank for that. You brought back what it feels like to let my hair down, to be a lady, to be young, to be THERE and if anyone knows where THERE is… its you. You brought back friends I have missed all these years (us blockheads have connections we didnt know existed lol)… you brought new friends, you brought the most electrifying night of my life in Tacoma.
Oh my GOOD and GRACIOUS GOD… and I READY for 2009!!!! I didnt quite get the

I do have to agree with ya. Things were on the down side for me as well but ending it in a good way. One of the things that made it good was seeing you guys here in Denver when I thought I wasn’t going to be able to. I didn’t get to have face time but hopefully next time I will. My batteries are all charged and I am ready for more,hehe.

I gave you a book with inspirational quotes at the meet n greet in Toronto and in there I explained what the return of the New Kids meant to me and what you mean to me - You’re an inspiration to many! You picked me out of the crowd remember?!… it is a day I will never forget and then I saw you again at Fluid, what a crazy night! I was so excited about getting to go to your concert here in Tacoma that it lasted way after the caoncrt happened my cousins said it was better than they thought it would be. Your words never cease to touch my heart in some amazing way. My 2008 started off as the absolute saddest and worst year of my life. Thank God for all of you for making the remainder of 2008 a year to remember for the good things. I am so thankful for you all this holiday season. You all will never know how much joy you all brought into my life and how much you helped me make it through this year. Not only that but I have met some truly wonderful lifelong friends because of the reunion. We are already making plans to travel for you guys in 2009. My 20 year dream of meeting you finally came true this year when I met you in NYC on Labor Day. Everything I had ever thought you would be, you were exactly… you’re just Donnie…the man who always keeps it real, the man with a heart of gold and a smile that leaves a beautiful lasting impression on someone. And everytime after that I met you, you were always amazing. You have this amazing energy and spirit about you that is so unique. Thank you for that and thank you all for everything this year. Right now I am going through a hard time, my son has been in and out of the hospital and we were in car accident last Saturday ( unrelated to my sons hospital stay) and our Jeep was totaled. We have insurance and all is ok, it is just stressful. To deal with that and a sick 4 year old at the same time.
My mind has been busy with worry.
I just sat down after not being on NKOTB for a week and say Joe’s post and your post.
They reminded me that I may have a summer tour to look forward to.
That cheered me up:)
I have never had the pleasure of meeting you and my frankly my LUCK SUCKS.
SO the only way I will get face time is by buying a 5* this time around.

Donnie I wish so much that I had gotten some face time in ‘08. I missed you by 15 minutes at the Waffle House in Atlanta. I have sooo much I want to say to you! I love you so much and I am thinking positive in ‘09. I feel our lives are running similiar paths here lately, Im going through some similiar circumstances and I know for a fact that it was you guys coming back that has helped pull me through such a horrible time in my life. You guys not only give me something to be happy about again but you give me the strength to remember who I am, who I WAS! I love you and words cannot even begin to express how much I owe to all of you for being there when I needed you. Now, if I could just get the Donnie Hug I’ve been waiting for for 20 years, I’ll be truely happy!! Hey there “D” well,well,well….I must say that this blog is what I have been waiting for…2009 Baby IS gonna be the BOMB!!!! You know I have so much love,gratitude and respect for you guys its beyond words…my story as a fan might be a little different than most and probably not typical, but either way I know Im a blockhead like the rest. See I have been a fan for 18 years and after the break up..in the years that followed I made some bad choices and landed myself in prison. Through the past few years I have been apart of a lifestyle that up until recently I didn’t think would change. But this past year a couple months before my much awaited release from upstate I was on my bunk watching my cellies T.V. and the best thing happened…I saw your Reunion announcement on Today show!! I was in my cell jumping up and down and crying!! I kept thinking 2008 is a great year!! Not only am I coming home but MY BOYS ARE BACK!! Well I won’t go on and on with this whole story, but I need to let you know that your comeback has inspired me to stay on the right track and do what I need to do to get my life back…I have been able to stay out of trouble and out of lockup due to my determination to be the person I know I can be. I want to get my FaceTime and relive the great moments that we lived 18 years ago…when I saw you guys again here in San Diego on Nov.25th I could not believe the true happiness I felt inside my heart!! I had a blast at the show and I can’t wait for 2009 to hopefully have the opportunity to thank you guys in person…THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU…

Donnie your blogs always make me smile. 2008 may of started off as a really crap year but you guys turned it around and I am so thankful for that. I got a little crabby (the feelings btw not the crawlies!!) as I was turning the big 3 0 but as I turn 31 in 4 weeks from today I don’t care no more. Being 31 is the new 12 and it’s mighty amazing!. I see you guys in 4 weeks and 1 day in Manchester, then Birmingham, Glasgow then the 02 (still hoping for Hammersmith) so how can I feel crappy now. We are so spoiled and I am loving it, bring it on!!. I can not wait to see you guys in January, especially in Scotland. Us Scots will make you guys feel more than welcome, don’t worry about that. You’ve never had a party ’til you’ve had a Scottish party!!.

Hey Donniethank you for making 2008 a great year, because it sure didn’t start out that way. In januaury my mother-in-law had surgery on her knee, she was only supose to stay two weeks. Two weeks has turned into almost a yearnow . So New KIds gives me a little escape from that reality. I bought The Merry,Merry, Christmas CD the other day, and we have listened to every morning before taking the kids to school. They really enjoy Funky,Funky,Christmas I’m Sure we will be listening to every day until Christmas . Enjoy your Christmas and have a great New Year. I’m looking forward to my Face Time ‘09. Donnie, thanks so much for having given me happiness in 2008. I so look forward to 2009. You have no idea what you brought us. It gave me amazing moments, from seeing you all in concert, to attending one meet and greet, to listening to that amazing The Block CD (we want a new album), and reading these blogs and watching your videos… you guys have me so many smiles and laughs, so thank you for that (I was so needing some of all this in my life). Oh go on and get sappy. I boo-hoo’d with joy at your 08 concerts. The show in Boston was other worldly! I had given up on the idea that I would ever be at a NKOTB show in my life again and then there I was…in 2008, in BOSTON, having randomly bumped into Joe’s dad coming into the venue(who I guess is now the BIG Mac Daddy since Joe is a Mac Daddy now, too)so I had gotten to tell him what I have always wanted to tell him ‘Thank you for letting Joe be in New Kids!!!’ No offense, bro, but the rest of you were a littler rougher than the wee McIntyre. I can see how Joe’s parents might not have let him hang with ya’ll. But I digress!
There I am in 2008 and the arena is dark and the wistful music is playing and they’re running the black and white pics of the group up on the screens and this insane anticipation of 15 to 18 years of waiting to see you again is building to a level that you can almost touch in the air. And when that smoke blew up and the sparks flew and the five of you appeared in the flesh together again…I have never experienced 20,000 people lose their minds like that before in my life. It was not of this world. And then again when you started to sing and then again when you got down to the stage. We will soon find out if I can use this word around here but the only way I have ever been able to describe it was this: it was like a collective orgasm amongst 20,000 people that had been building for 15+ years. Never experienced anything like that in a crowd of people before. And I was at the game when the Braves clinched the pennant the year they went worst to first in 1991 and the pennant race had gone all the way to the last game of the season. That was a stadium full of long suffering baseball fans (you know the kind, yes?)experiencing pure joy and it pales in comparison of group emotion to the moment when NKOTB appeared on stage in Boston.
If you’re back next year, we will be too! Have the best holiday season you can and know that you are loved even by the people you can’t reach out and touch anymore.

Donnie, you and the rest of the guys really made 2008 the most memorable year to date. First hearing about the reunion, meeting you guys at Best Buy in Burbank, bumpin’ everyday to The Block, then going to four shows (L.A., Vegas, San Diego, and back to L.A.)!! The M&G’s in Vegas and San Diego were money well spent. I do have to say you all are the nicest and most down to earth celeb’s I’ve ever met.
We hope for more Face Time. I want a solo pic with you!!! Please help me out!!!!

This year was an amazing ride, from the rumors of a reunion in January to the announcement in April, and all the M&Gs and shows, backstage, waffle house…what a trip! You guys were a blast! I owe a lot to you as well. You didn’t just bring a smile to my face when you reunited, or during Face Time, or during the show, but you’ve brought a SMILE to my face that will last the rest of my life! For real :D.
2008 also started out as one of the toughest, but after January 1, it got better (not that I have that big of problems, some people would be like please get over it), but I was finally letting go as April rolled in, because of my 30th birthday! I was so excited to turn 30! And just 4 days before, NKOTB announces officially they’re reuniting!
This year truly is the best of my life! And I’m looking forward to an even better 2009!

I met a GREAT group of girls, the “pink shirted” facetime girls from Chicago, we still hang out and are “recharging” our batteries AND bank accounts for 2009!! **w00t** We are looking forward to 2009 we will ALL be back together, AGAIN, pink shirts and all, for Facetime!! So, what will it be in 2009?? Hugs..Kisses..Ping Pong?? LOL Maybe 2 million hugs??

Donnie, you crack me up. You hope in “some small way”? You think we haven’t noticed by now that you do everything in a big way???
I’m so glad the fans were able to help you through this year in the same way that you helped so many of us. I’m sure there might have been some doubt in the beginning when you guys were laying out plans, but your fans are as loving as they are loyal, and we’ll keep hangin’ tough as long as you do. I am honored, though, that you would choose to spend such a year with your fans and of course your brothers.
I’m still not sure how at the moment, but I will get to a concert or two next year. I definitely need some more facetime and wood time!
Don’t forget to bring back the baby daddy bus, and maybe some kind soul will see fit to equip it with a brand new stripper pole for brand new adventures!

You have no idea how much this last year has felt the same way to me also…
The week I met you was the one year mark since my divorce being finalized, that was a bitter/sweet moment for me…
This year has been the saddest and the happiest(and everything in between)year of my life..
I’ve learned so much about myself. And what I want and don’t want out of a relationship, friendship and just life in general. 2 in the morning is my anthem on how I never want things to be ever again. Thank for that song!It means more to me than you can know.

Okay, You and the rest of the guys have made my year also, My year at the beginning wasn’t so hot either and Getting too see you all when you came too Charlotte, NC was a awesome Time for me, it lifted and cheered me up and Seeing you guys do your thing and seeing the love you have for all of us, is so amazing, it gives me the strength too make it through another day, to keep going and too fight the good fight. To be 37 yrs old and having too file disability hasn’t been really great for me, but neither having fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Asmtha, High Blood Pressure, Depression/Anxiety,Migraines, sleep apnea and taken all the medicine for that has wrecked havoc on my emotional being, and seeing you guys in concert, which i wouldn’t have been able too do if it hadn’t been for a sweet person i met online from the nkotb community giving me 2 free tickets was truly a blessing. As well as you guys being one for me, it has given me the strength too keep doing what i’m doing, I may not ever get read of Fibro or RA but i can make it better by continuing too fight the weight battle and I will do it and you guys will see a new me in 2009 when you come back too Charlotte, NC! That is my promise too you guys, to show you a healthy skinner me. Listening to your songs will be my work out music. So guys i will pray for you all and you pray for me. Take care and I hope you will have a BLESSED 2009! Remember all your success comes from the man upstairs and His son is the reason for the season.

This has to be the first time that reading one of your blog entries has made me cry. Unfortunately, its not all happy tears. I wish that it were.
Reading you getting pumped up for 2009 is bittersweet to me. I’m glad for you that you still seem so excited by it all. Donnie, thank you for taking time to blog to us. I am so glad to hear that 2008 is ending better than it started. This year has been an amazing for me… it started with reunion rumor in January, having official announcemet, then attending Today Show in May, meeting you for the first time at Macys and Zootopia, new album, and all M&Gs and shows… definitely the best year of my life! You never know how much happiness you have brought to me, more than you ever could imagine. So many smiles you have put on my face =) Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year with yours!

BACK IN MARCH WHEN YOU 5 FIRST APPEARED ON THE TODAY SHOW, I CAME IN TO WORK CHEESEN AND ANNOUNCED YOUR RETURN, SINCE THEN NKOTB IS ALL I EVER TALK ABOUT. I TOLD EVERYONE EVEN BEFORE THE CD DROPPED THAT I WOULD MAKE SOMEONE A FAN BY THE END OF THE YEAR!
WELL MY WORK HAS A WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANANGE EVRY YEAR. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BUY SOMETHING UNDER $20 BUCKS AND THAT WE WOULD WANT TO KEEP OURSELVES. I HAD NO PROBLEM ON WHAT I SHOULD CHOOSE. “THE BLOCK OF COURSE”

Donnie, my man, “my baby” (you told me you were my baby when I was wrapped around you in Omaha ~ “That’s right, I am your baby~ mmmmmmm, you melted me…)
I kept telling my friends that you found the most awesome way to distract yourself from you personal pain this year. I am so happy for you, and proud that I could be a small part of your distraction 3 different times this tour. I wish there had been more, but the 7 hours each way to St. Paul was the longest road trip we took, and that stuff isn’t as easy to do at 34 as it was 15-20 years ago!
We barely made it home by 7 the next morning for work. That was rough.
In 2004 I split from my husband and thought that was the worst pain I could ever possibly feel. But 4 years later, there has been an even worse tragedy with my boys, 9 and 7 years old. Needless to say, this has been the WORST year of my life, but my New Kids graced me with their comeback this year and I got 2 huge D.W. hugs and one long cuddle that I’ve been dreaming of for 20+ years! If I close my eyes I can still smell and taste you. You were the best distraction for me I could have ever imagined.
You gave me something to look forward to during the worst nightmare of my life. I couldn’t have had a better distraction than those 3 nights with you. Thank you so much baby. I wish you were coming back again sooner, but maybe I will have woken up from my nightmare by the time you do and I can fully, totally enjoy you and the other Kids, this time not feeling guilty, even for a second, for smiling and having a little fun.
Thank you, my baby, for the distractions. I love you and appreciate you ~ your presence, your intelligence, your humor, and I pray you have a very blessed Christmas season and that all your dreams come true.

2008 and started off like any other year, but ended off an amazing one. you have all really made this year so special for me. my good friend and I reconnected and we have so many experiences since then that i could never have imagined and i know i will never forget. thank you thank you thank you.

Donnie, this year was tough for sure, but you have made is so much easier to deal with!! Let’s see, I spent it when I didn’t have it, I got on an airplane which I never do, I made a TON of friends which isn’t as easy to do the older I get!Got in a fight on YouTube, defending NKOTB honor! There are so many reason wonderful reasons why my year has gotten 1000% better but none of it would have happend without you!! Don’t ever change! BTW-I got my mind right, so watch out next year!! :o)

I hope you have an amazing Christmas and I hope 2009 is as rewarding for you as 2008 was for me when you all hit the stage. In July 2008 I found out my husband of 9 years would not be around more then 6-8 more years and then I got your new album and saw you all in concert 4 times and all that helped me escape his illness even if it was just for those 4 hours at the concert!

You HOPE you brought a smile to our faces??!??! Sheesh, where do I start? Let’s see… first, early in 2008 we hear rumors that NKOTB is reuniting. Then it becomes official. Then I purchase my 5 star VIP tix. The Block is released! Then I get my Facetime!! Even though it was waaaay too brief, it was a moment I’ve waited 20 years for! Now we hear “rumors” of a 2009 tour? Yeah, you could say you’ve brought a few smiles my way! I’ve been cheezin all year! Can’t wait to see you and the guys in 09!

Just wanted to send a SHOT OUT & let you know that I had a BLAST as well. From the looks of the responses on this website & the fans at the Phoenix concert, it has been HUGE all the way around. My CHILDREN have learned the majority of the LYRICS to “THE BLOCK”. My 2 YR OLD SON often SINGS it as well. I never thought the day would come when I would be able to see you all healthy, happy, and handsomely delicious in concert again.
May God Bless you through & through as the New Year is getting ready to ring in. This is my prayer for you, your family, & the rest of the crew & their families as well. 2008 was definitely a special year…a year of firsts (for me that is)!! From celebrating my son’s 1st birthday to re-living my very 1st concert(NKOTB in Toronto @ the Skydome) to my 1st NKOTB concert as a grown woman & mother. I am so thankful that you guys have given us the chance to re-connect with a part of our lives that was carefree & fun. With all that we have going these days, it’s hard to sit back, relax & enjoy. Donnie, you are so right…THIS IS OUR TIME!!!!

I want to say to you thanks for such a great 2008. It’s going to be a year since all of us found out that all 5 of you decided to form a reunion. I want to thank you, Danny, Jordan, Jonathan and Joe for giving me a great birthday gift when you had performed back on Sept. 24, 2008 at the Nassau Colisseum in New York and met all of you at the meet and greet. For 2009, I’m going to make sure that on my birthday I go see all of you in concert at whatever city you’re going to be at. I hope it’s back in NYC at the Madison Square Garden since I have not see you guys perform there and it would make traveling easier and I can see family and friends. I also want my facetime that I wasn’t able to get from you on my birthday. I know I’ll be going to more than one concert like I did this year. I was fired up in NY and Chicago concerts.

Thank you for the happy holiday wishes! I really thought that this reunion was over for us U.S. fans, it makes me so happy to know that I just might get to see you guys in concert!! This blog is a Christmas present to us fans!! I had so much going on while you guys were touring in the U.S. that I could not dissapear for 24 hours to fly out and see you all..and I have regretted not being able to ever since. In 09, I will be able to because I will have a lot less of responsibilities. I am so excited!!!

The year 2008 was a wonderful experience welcoming the New Kids on the Block back into our lives. I received a hug from your gracious arms at the signing on Long Island back in September, my much awaited hug of 15 years! (That’s it, not more?!?! LOL) I didn’t get to say all that I wanted, to you and the guys, but my new years resolution (which I always attempt to fulfill) will be a sit down with you to discuss all the things I’ve ever wanted… ummm to share with you! My ambitions with NKOTB has become my number 1 resolution and I can’t wait. 2009 will be a great year for me… turning 30 in January, a new decade, a new life, a new me, a new kid =) ha ha. Anyway, just wanted to wish you a Merry Merry Christmas and a drunken ass New Years Eve…… Just sober up for me in 2009 =)

Dear Donnie,
First thing, I want you to have the happiest of all holidays this year. I know it will be tough for you as you are going through a divorce or have already gone through it. I am a divorced mom of 3 wonderful children. I know how tough it is that first year. I am glad though that with this reunion tour you were able to cheer up a bit. I was looking forward to you guy’s coming to Kansas City as I had planned on taking my 14 year old daughter to see you. I wanted her to experience a New Kids concert. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do that. Finances prevented it. I am now working 2 jobs and all I have are the wonderful memories I had of my youth when I went to your concerts in California, when I stayed in the same hotels that you stayed in, just for the opportunity of meeting you. And I did. You and all of the guy’s had this wonderful knack of making those you were around feel important and special. And at a time when I needed that the most, you delivered. You have always been on my mind and I have always wanted to thank you for what you did for me. I will never get the chance to thank you in person, but maybe one day you will read this and know that you saved my life. I could have gone down the wrong road so easily, but you were around at just the right time and you kept my mind right. You kept my mind on positivity and I love you all for that. To this day the memories of you guy’s back then keep me feeling positive. Yeah, I work 2 jobs and hardly get to see my children, but when I do get to see them, I am the happiest person on earth. When I think of you, all I can say is that I am grateful. Ask me what I am grateful for Donnie, and I will tell you. Just know that there is someone in Topeka who is ALWAYS thinking of you guy’s.

Been to all your shows growing up and saw you guys in San Jose, this past October. Wasnt able to get the VIP tickets due to the fact that i wasnt a “Gold” member for American Express. That irked me a bit since it wasn’t mentioned beforehand. I want my face time with you, just me and you for the next time!!!!

Dear Mr. Knight,
My daily ritual… actually I should say, my hourly ritual is to log on to the NKOTB site with “The Block” on repeat in my office from 8-5. I guess I do that just to smile and rejuvenate those butterflies I so remember having at 15 …. You guys actually give a lot to us girls, hope and faith… you give us that confidence back that “YES… life can be vicariously fun as it was 15 years ago!” I can’t seem to put it down in the correct wording what your comeback has done to some of our lives. It’s kind of like we were waiting for you all these years to give us a reason to break out of our tedious shells and feel those Goosebumps again. Well whatever I’m trying to say, I guess what it comes down to, is all 5 of you have brought us back in 2008, where 2009 will be the real deal. I have to tell you that my kids are lovin’ 2 of the Christmas songs from back in the day: Last night I Saw Santa Claus and Funky, Funky Xmas…they almost know all of the words…we have it in the Zune and we play them a lot. Even my 3 yr old gets funky wit’ it.

I thanked you before for going & looking for me so I could get my Face Time in St Louis after a girl in my group visited so long with you, I had to move past you or miss the rest of the guys even though my fondest dreams were to finally meet you & to see Jordan & say hi to him again & if it weren’t for your kindness I’d still be waiting to meet you, my other favorite New Kid (sorry Danny,Jon & Joe all of whom I’d met before… It’s just that you & Jordan have had my heart from the very beginning & I’m one of the fans who never took a day off from being an active, loving supporter… love Love LOVE you babies!!!!! I’m looking forward to your new series! Goody…acting & on the road. Thank you SO MUCH!!! You have no idea what this message means to us NKOTB fans!!!!!!! You said….”Do you think we would walk away now?”…honestly, yes I did. I thought since you all had families and kids that the reuion would be the one tour. This makes me so excited! If it wasn’t for you guys, New Years eve would be just as it has been for the past 10 years..not much to celebrate, but celebrate anyways just becuase it is New Years. You guys really do not know what kind of affect NKOTB has on us fans..the news you just gave made my year! I swear..the second I hear about a concert coming somewhere close to me, I am researving the closest seats possible and reserving face time. Face time with NKOTB (or just you) would go down in history as the greatest moment in my life! (Don’t tell my boyfriend this!)

You rock!!! A dream came true last December when you guys came to Monterrey… I’ve loved you since I was 13 and seeing you live in concert was … OMG!!! no words to describe… I loved your Spanish! (les presento…)I never thought you spoke it so well, congrats!!! I wish I had the chance do meet you, I’m sure it would have been quite an experience and definitely a pleasure! , I met Jordan, who by the way was awesome! very kind and patient, talked to everyone… Joe was a bit cranky but still… it was nice meeting him, and Jon just broke my heart… he ignored almost everyone… I never thought he’d be like that… but then again, you never know… I looked for you and Danny, but no signs and it was freezing so I went home without see you there…
But all and all…. I was soooo happy to see you guys! and you! OMG… watching you on the stage… moving the crowd with a single movement of your head… AWESOME!!!
I waited for over 15 years … I learned English because of you and from you (your autobiography “Our story New Kids On The Block” and the Hasbro dolls tapes were my teachers…lol), I wanted to sing your songs and understand your words… I rehearsed in my mind for years… what I’d say when we’d meet … you know… teenage dreams…

New Years was awesome. My friends and I spent the night playing beer pong, flip cup and listening to The Block. After drinking a bottle of stoli raz and swallowing jello shooters we discussed who would be on our “top 10.” Take a guess who was on mine.

Happy New Year! It may be Jan 15 2009, but Nov 21,2008 at GM Place will live in my heart forever. You can’t leave it again for another 15 years guys. Ok going to put myself out there! I moved from Philly a year an a half ago. I miss it big time but the one thing I will ALWAYS remember about my time there. Was back in my teenage years. Back to when I use to dance on a show called Dance Party U.S.A. Blogged about this in a previous one on here. BUTT….I had JUST LEFT a couple months prior to when you guys came on. I met many STARS on their. Had a great time with GREAT memories. Keep kicking myself as I was watching from home on the t.v. with you fellas on doing your THANG. But I just had a baby and was doing the SINGLE MOM thing. Was time to grow up for me. Now all these years later. You guys are BACK and so happy about it. It’s like I am going back in time. Remembering the good ole days…WHEN YOU WORE THOSE RIPPED JEANS….AND YOU WORE THEM WELL! Do you miss the ripped jeans? JUST GOT TO KNOW? LOL

Tried to get all access but 5 star is more then I’m willing to spend….
even though I love you sooo much I have 4 kids and they come first….
I was a little worried that the 5 star people are the only ones that can get tickets for the first 10 rows,,,I can afford 75 dollars a ticket but 35o for a five star pass is more than I can swallow without feeling guilty….will but tickets tommorwo at 1000 and will be there….
