This person was born in 1986 so they were too young during the New Kids days to know what I know. There was no simple answer to their question! I answered...you do not understand the impact NKOTB had on us fans! For me, I had my first crush! I enjoyed, for the first time, a boy band! I explained the excitement I felt when I listened to NKOTB songs, the feeling I got when I saw NKOTB in concert. More than likely, every girl had a heart throb when they were younger..and heart throbs light a girl's heart on fire!!I tried to explain to my co worker why NKOTB was os special, but it was heard to put into words. This is one of the reasons why I feel extremely priveledged to be born in the year that I was! (1980) If I were born five years later, I might not have been old enough to enjoy the New Kids days!
