Hey All….
It’s your man here- Donnie.
I know some of you are worried…
I know some of you are confused…
I know some of you have heard a lot of stories that I almost died…
I can tell you they are not true.
I did not almost die.
The truth is…
I actually did die.
Yes its true… I am dead.
I am no longer alive.
In fact I’m writing this from heaven (or is it hell? Hard to tell with all the clouds around…..)
Anyway- I am sorry that I died behind the wheel of a car that never crashed… Never wobbled… Never even drifted into a stray lane. I’m really sorry that I let so many people down by dying. Please know that I wish I was still alive too but this dying this is kind of fun.
I left in my will that I want to be cryogenically frozen so I can be brought back to life one day if medicine finds a way to revive me…. So maybe they will find a way to bring back my uninjured, unscathed, unscratched, yet somehow dead body before for our next tour.
And whatever you do… Please don’t look at the car that I was driving on that fateful night- the lack of dents and scratches mean nothing. I did die. I didn’t crash. I didn’t almost crash. But I did die in the non accident.

I am so glad you are ok. I am sick with a bad cold and I am at work so that I can get payroll done and this brought a big smile to my face! My darling Donnie… I didn’t hear that you had died in a car accident…so tragic! It’s just so sad! What will we ever do without you? Thank goodness there’s internet in heaven though, right?? No reason for you to not keep in touch. At least we’ll have that. Technology really is a gift from God then, I guess…Anyway, I’m certainly going to miss you! If you could find a way, perhaps, prior to the scientists unfreezing your body, to come back for the New Kids Summer tour (or your European tour for that matter…I wouldn’t begrudge them the joy you brought to me over these past several months) that would be great. This is April from DTB-TV apparently after the non-accident where Mr. Wahlberg’s un-injured dead body was pulled from the wreckage people were seen trying to take his pulse. Someone really should tell them that mouth to mouth resuscitation is not done below the belt. After the “mouth to mouth” failed, Mr. Wahlberg was then pronounced dead at the scene of the non accident!

We are glad you’re ok, I read the initial comment you gave that said you fell asleep at the wheel. Don’t know how people came to the conclusion that meant you were in an accident. Strange how people read into things.
But this falling asleep at the wheel business is no good! I’ve done it a few times driving home to see my family…highway 99 through the Central Valley in California is pretty boring at night…it’s a scary thing to know that for a moment anything could have happened. But be thankful that nothing did happen. (We sure are!)
We are definitely concerned for your safety on the road, so please…we know you have people that are hired to drive you around in those tour buses…PLEASE don’t put yourself in danger! Book a hotel if you’re tired and no one can drive you!! Or at least drive with a buddy!! (Or you can always call me! I’d be HAPPY to drive you anywhere you want to go!)

I’m excited!! I’m glad that the rumors that you almost died are false and that you really did die and are now in heaven/hell. That’s where I figured I’d be going too so as long as you are already there waiting for me, then I’m all set!! You are gonna have to wait for a long time for me though, since I plan on almost living for a quite a while longer!
Nice to hear that a person can die in an accident w/ no outward appearance of an accident. That will make is sooo much easier for even wackier stories of sightings!! LOL.

Ok I’m glad your ass(and every other part of you is ok) but just the way that was written, You sir, made me start crying hysterically. Just the thought of something happening to you, I can’t even think about it. I’ve been emotional as it is since Thanksgiving and will be the next month or so. I cry at the drop of a hat around the holidays. I lost my father on December 16, 2001. So yeah. In all seriousness, I’m glad to hear that you’re not dead, even if this board was the only place I heard that rumor in the first place. It’s been amazing having you back in our lives (you rocked the Tacoma show, by the way), and I wish you all the best. Here’s hoping we’ll see you again in 2009. Don’t forget to stop by the Northwest again. It rains a lot in winter but is really the most beautiful place on earth in the late spring/early summer. I think the Portland girls would agree that we need you back in Oregon.

HEY do you ever watch one of those movies where there’s a scene, where there’s perhaps a girl, who’s always CALM COOL and COLLECTED… and there’s this dude who she’s got this deep penetrating almost sickening love for but yet she doesn’t ever admit it out loud cuz she’s so CALM COOL and COLLECTED… and then one day tragic news hits her ears about her beloved, and she races to the hospital hoping that he doesn’t die, thinking about how she’d be so lost without him, how her joy would disappear and each day would become grey if he was gone… and as she pulls her car up to the front of the hospital and goes over the curb and hits the police car parked there, she keeps thinking out loud of how she can’t believe this is happening and of how sad and lonely her days would be and how he doesn’t know he’s so special to her… and she races to the hospital elevator and rushes to his floor, almost tear-filled… .
and she runs to the room that she was tipped off about, as being dude’s room… still with thoughts in her head like “what if he doesn’t know how I feel?? WHAT IF HE DOESN’T KNOW HOW MUCH I CARE??”… but before she could even reach the actual room she was unable to take it any longer and she starts yelling out loud “PLEASE don’t die [insert dude's name]!! You CAN’T die [insert dude's name]!! I love you [insert dude's name]!!” just as she reaches the door way of his room…. and THEN, she stops in her mid-step as she sees dude having some cake with a bunch of other hospital kids who are laughing and having a good time…. in fact, they’re havin a ball… they’re havin’ a PARTY!…. but right now, the party has paused momentarily…. the whole crowd is silently staring at her… and even dude stopped eating his cake and looks at her because everybody in that room heard what she said…….. ……
How embarassing is THAT? I tell ya. I’ve seen those scenes more than once in a movie. It always makes me cringe!! Girlfriend needs one of those rewind buttons… one of those re-take buttons.
Good thing I’ve never experienced that in real life. I don’t know anybody who’s ever done anything remotely resembling that scene in real life.

oh my! i went through the same situation! i was struggling to make it back home (No.Ho) that night. the rain did not help! i saw like 5 accidents. but THE BLOCK kept me company and i was doing well until i crossed into LA.

okay I’m a Jon girl and I usually save the gushy love stuff for him but Donnie I love you. I have battling a cold and everyone seemed to be having a bad day at work which did not help my headache and everyone is calling in sick but your blog so laugh and smile today and thank you so much. not only can i not relax once i get home and get over my cold but i have a house full of family visiting who i love even with my cold and headache. you made me laugh today and getting to spend tonight with my 9 month old nephew although my knees hurt because i crawled all around running after him lol made me realize no matter how crappy i feel to remember the people that i love most. thank you for helping through my day of feeling crappy. i know you are dead and all but enjoy your time off after this leg of the tour and spending time with you family

I didn’t like this blog. I didn’t hear the rumor that you almost died. I don’t like to hear about death in humor. Death is a very serious thing as you already know. It would hurt my heart to pieces if you had. Glad you didn’t. I know you’re alive & well & I am very happy to hear it this way than hear the silly rumor. I would want to deck somebody that ever told me such a terrible thing.

I might have to write a request to Tony Spanelli to ask him what happened and if he could cover the non-crash non-accident in his rock star boys band boys in a band documentary cos I think I missed something here. He could perhaps even give insight into this talk from you from beyond and like help me understand better the wonders of where you are

Seriously???? There’s another???? WHEN? WHERE??? I missed all your shows that were close to me, and if you go on tour again in the US, you can bet your bippy I’ll be there. COME TO CHARLESTON, SC!!! Or even Columbia! I’m too far from Charlotte or Atlanta to make a day trip.

This blogs has nothing to do with Donnie’s “death”, I have already mentioned my response on that. This blog is to tell NKOTB that I hope you and your families have a wonderful and safe holiday and a terrific new year! You guys have gone above and beyond for us fans for the past 3 months and for that you guys deserve to have a wonderfull break. I pray almost every day that there will be another tour in the US in the future so that I (and other Tennessee fans) will get the chance to see you all in concert. I do understand that you guys have families and lives to attend to so I understand if there will not be another tour, however, a few of your blogs have mentioned “the next tour” so I do have hope! This blog has nothing to do with you message Donnie…I have already responded to that. This is a random blog that I feel I have to share with N KOTB.
I was talking to a few of my co workers yesterday about NKOTB and they asked me “what is so great/special about NKOTB?” My first respoonse was..”you have a few minutes?” I explained, there is not just one special thing about NKOTB! This person was born in 1986 so they were too young during the New Kids days to know what I know. There was no simple answer to their question!
I answered…you do not understand the impact NKOTB had on us fans! For me, I had my first crush! I enjoyed, for the first time, a boy band! I explained the excitement I felt when I listened to NKOTB songs, the feeling I got when I saw NKOTB in concert. More than likely, every girl had a heart throb when they were younger..and heart throbs light a girl’s heart on fire!!I tried to explain to my co worker why NKOTB was os special, but it was heard to put into words. This is one of the reasons why I feel extremely priveledged to be born in the year that I was! (1980) If I were born five years later, I might not have been old enough to enjoy the New Kids days! Thank god my parents did it when they did!!
I have some other new I want to share just because I can. So my boyfriend proposed to me tonigt!!!!
I asked him if I could think about it for awhile. I have always been so independant. I decided along time ago that I would never be dependant on a man. My insides were screaming YES, but marriage is huge!!!!! No more dates, no more one night stands, and no more making decisions considering myself. Yes, I have friends to talk about this with and they have been there, but it is nice to get this off my chest. Some of you guys are married…was it easy to make decision?? I have, for as long as I can remember, promised myself that I will never depend on a guy to make me happy, but I have to admit that I am happy when I am with him. I told him…if you are serious about marrying me, take me to a internationsl NKOTB concert! I really said that! Well, I will give my answer to him shortly even though I am still totally conflicted. You know people say that if you love a person, you will have no doubts and automatically say yes when they propose…I think that is bull***t. We are talking about the rest of my life!!! Even if I am totally inlove with the guy…how can I not have doubts?? Not to mention of all of the people who get divorced! I am pretty sure that when they got married, they had no doubts!!
I do not keep a diary so I am using the NKOTB website to vent!!

Ok, the thought of you dieing is really upsetting. I am sitting here drinking a glass of wine and want to have another one. I am not up on the gossip, so I had no idea that there was any alleged accident, but I am so glad it’s not true!

OMG! When I heard that rumour, I didn’t kno what to think or do? I thought ‘if Donnie Wahlberg is dead? What am I gunna do!?’ but I am so glad it was all stupid rumours and that you are ok. Like someone said, I knew you wernt that bad of a driver but above all, I am just glad that I will still be able to see that gorgeous smile of yours for a long time yet!
I would love to meet you sometime - I need facetime and soon!! For now, the internet is helping my obsession with you fine guys! Wherever I am, I will always log onto this site to see if there is any new news on my fab five guys!
