Just wanted to send you all a quick note! I haven’t blogged lately as time has been tight. I do however make it my nightly ritual to log on to our sight and check up on the NKOTB world. I see you are all still here. Glad to know when I get around to blogging again someone will be there to read it. Heading back to Boston this week! Mexico was a blast. If I had my way I’d still be there on the beach……..fill you all in on my adventures soon…..
Jonathan

There aren’t enough words to explain what 2008 and the “KIDS” brought back!
All I know is that I could share my experiences……
**I was NEVER NOT a fan! Always….still…..forever!** I know, boring right? But true. I just love you guys. There isn’t a video, a blog, an interview, a picture, a movie/show, nothing…….that I don’t just love you guys! And you’re right when you say it’s the dynamics of all of you together!
So…..
There wasn’t a moment of doubt that I wouldn’t go see you in concert this year…..the question was, “where”…..I only made it to two states this time (Not including my home state because cousin got married and I “had” to be there! Ugh that boy….WINK!)……but some of the girls that committed and said they were going with me, dropped out! Can you believe it? Said, “Nah, I’m not going to go.”
Oh….it was NO PROBLEM, because we filled our seats and had a great time….a BLAST!!! The thrill, adrenalin, the love, the excitement, it was worth every penny! I even introduced a girl to NKOTB that told me right up front, “Julie, I don’t like concerts. I don’t want you to be disappointed that I’m not going to be crazy about them like you are, I’m serious, don’t be upset!”
However, secretly I knew my friend, and I knew the infectious, contagious, dramatic love you guys put on when you perform….that she’d be hooked. So she went to the first concert, and said, “Ohhhhkay, I admit, they were fun to watch and it was a good concert” plus she even thanked me for taking her. So theeen came concert number two….and this time we were quite fortunate to be in row 8…..wow, that was perfect and a dream come true for me…..but she and a couple other girls came too - Let me just say: HOOKED! She’s hooked. She now has her own copy of the CD and we love singing with you. So does her son!
Our one other mutual friend wouldn’t give you a chance either, and I said “You’re missing out on something GREAT!”…..but she didn’t go to your concert, so she’s not really in the loop. Yet! hehe
So now I ask: “It’s not if I’m going to see you in 2009, it’s how many states can I hit this time around?”…….I’m a teacher, so I have to be responsible and reasonable BUT my hope is that you do things around the weekends, holidays, and summer so I can drink you all up!”
Merry Christmas!
Love,
Julie

Hello Jonathan,
when do you get some sleep?! Luckily it is mid day here
As I responded to Donnies blog, this experience means the world to me.
As a teenager, you were here to help me invent myself, and now at 29 you are here to help me re-invent myself. I can only hope it has meant as much to you as it has meant to me.
Happy Christmas to you and your family and a fulfilling new year. I wish you all the best,
Elizabeth

Yep…we’re still here! And I must admit that you guys have become part of MY nightly ritual
This site, the community, other forums…it’s addictive you know LOL. And also hard work to keep up, I’m always late with my responses because I live on the other side of the globe. Despite that, I’ve made some nice friends because of all this. And good to know you also actually read some of our stuff!
since I’m in a different time zone anyway LOL.
And if you’re online in the middle of the night and there’s nobody awake (I seriously doubt that) or if you’re bored…just know you can always chat with me
Have a great Holiday Season and 2009: EUROPE AWAITENS YOU!!
Kisses from Cindy (Holland)

Oh Jonathan…you know how to put a smile on someone’s face, when they are having a bad start for their day, and warm their heart when it’s so cold outside. I woke up 2 hours ago to a sick puppy and I’m about to take her to the vet she still hasn’t eaten anything since yesterday morning. I hope that she will be alright.
I too would have just stayed on the beach. Hell I didn’t want to leave Miami last year I enjoyed it, but I had to come back to Missouri to see you and Jordan in St. Louis. =D
Enjoy your break with your loved ones.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Years.
See in ‘09
Love

I would rather stay on the beach too if I were you! It’s freezing in New York so I’m sure it’s even colder in Boston. Anyways keep warm have a great holiday and new year. Entertain your Europe fans and come back quickly back to us.
As always thank you, Jon and the rest of the guys for coming back, making all our dreams come true, and keeping the blogs alive!!!
P.S. My iPod is playing Summertime as I type, miss it so much! Please come back to NY for the tour in 2009. If it needs to be I’d skip my summer class to go to all the concerts I can!!
December 18th, 2008 at 6:17 am

Enjoy your time off, sir. I look forward to reading more from you when you have the moments to spare. You’re a darling.
December 18th, 2008 at 6:51 am
Hi Jon!!
When you see the Sheffield 10, just get out of the way. If you can’t get out of the way, just grab Donnie and drag him in front of you. You’ll be safe that way and the rest of us Jon girls will get to you when you least expect it, in the best possible, most non-threatening, all we really want are great big hugs and maybe a kiss on the cheek kind of way.
And pictures. We definitely want pictures.

My gosh Jon you are a farm boy…what are you doing up so darn early? *LOL* I remember when I worked on the farm I would be up a 5:30 am with a smile on my face…loved getting up feeding all the horses and dogs but on my days off I would sleep in!
I am still having a hard time believing this is all happening; NKOTB together again? I wake up every morning thinking I am dreaming. My mother was giddy yesterday because she got the copy of the NKOTB Christmas Album I mailed her. I love you guys but not the best album! She loves it though. Go figure…I decided not to buy her a copy of “The Block” because it is a bit ummm…well…you know for my mother.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year. Give Pippy a good ear scratching for me. I am sure she misses her daddy.

Hey Jon
Just getting back from Mexico? wow, that’s awesome!! Considering how the weather’s been i wouldve stayed at the beach too:) We appreciate any word, small or large from any of you and here y’all are…even with busy schedules, families, holidays arriving… still keeping in touch, writing daily blogs, checking to see if we’re still around(brings warm fuzzies to the heart, do ya miss us like we miss you?)…really? no, seriously…really?LIKE WE WOULD EVER LEAVE!! so bring on the stories and adventures..perhaps a BETWEEN THE SHEETS part TWO? Maybe “Under the Mistletoe”? or ANSWERS pt 3??
BESO BESO
Oh and i wanna leave ya with a quote from my other obsession Twilight(book not movie, sigh):
“Edward Cullen: You see, every person smells different, has a different essence. If you locked an alcoholic in a room full of stale beer, he’d gladly drink it. But he could resist, if he wished to, if he was a recovering alcoholic. Now let’s say you placed in that room a glass of hundred-year-old brandy… How do you think he would fare then?
Edward Cullen: Maybe that’s not the right comparison. Maybe it would be to easy to turn down brandy. Perhaps I should make our alcoholic a herion addict instead.
Isabella Swan: So what you’re saying is, I’m your brand of heroin?
Edward Cullen: Yes, you are exactly my brand of heroin.”
course i don’t support drug use in anyway…so..Yes, Jon you are exactly my brand of…um..what am i addicted to…oh yeah…New Kid:)

Hello Jonathan!
It is good to know that you read the items that are posted on your website. Have a ssfe trip home. Please do keep in touch and write about your many adventures. Being on a beach somewhere does sound nice compared to being in a place that has below freezing weather. I am sure that you are going to be glad to get home. I imagine Boston is really pretty this time of year. I love you Jonathan. Take care and stay safe.

I love that you signed your blog “Jonathan”. It really is such a beautiful name. So, I woke up with a stomach virus and one of my twins has a stomach virus as well. But who knew the prescription for a stomach virus was a blog from you!? It has really perked me up so now I can try to get my little guy perked up too. I hope you enjoy your break, and get everything done that you need to get accomplished.
I am so HOPING for a Cincinnati concert this summer. I didn’t get to see you this last time, but I WLL NOT let it happen again! I will be there!
*blushing profusely* It really is hard to imagine that you read some of the things that we write about you over in ning. haha Well if you do read much over there, then you know, oh too well, that we just can’t get enough of YOU!! Yeah, we love the other guys too, but for me its ALWAYS been ALL ABOUT YOU!
I am so glad Santa got my letter, and gave me exactly what I asked for…..a blog from you!

Jonathan,
Thanks for the blog! I’m so glad you had an amazing time in Mexico and I think all of us would love to be on the beach in Mexico with you. I know I would since it’s freezing today with a ton of snow on the way.
I love that you say NKOTB.com is your nightly ritual, it is for me as well. But if you have time and want to add another nightly ritual, there is a great chat with some amazing fans that would love for you to drop by. Check out: http://xat.com/Oubadnkotb sometime. Many are there into the wee hours of the morning, so pop in at anytime!

Hey Jonathan,
It is so great to start the day with a blog from you. I am so glad to hear you had a wonderful time in Mexico. The beach really does sound great about now. I had to laugh when I noticed that NKOTB.com was your nightly ritual. It sounds oddly familiar. I work the night shift at a hospital and NKOTB.com has become a nightly ritual for not only myself, but my co-workers as well (Yeah, I don’t really give them a choice
). Anyway, Merry Christmas! Take care and enjoy the rest of your break.
Love always,
Erin L.

Jonathan!! So good to hear from you! Of COURSE we’re all still here! LOL…where else do you think we’d be? You guys are so funny sometimes…always thanking us for still being here and for never giving up on you….when really its US who need to thank YOU. I know you hear it all the time, but I really don’t think any of you can truly grasp the difference you have made in so many lives. Noone else will ever compare. We love you with all our hearts…and WE thank YOU!! I am afraid every day that someone will say or write something to make you want to run and quit. Just always remember that we your true fans will love you till the day we die and I can’t think of anything in the world that would change that-for me anyway. PLEASE continue with the summer tour…there are so many of us dying to see you again-or for some, for the first time. I am so glad I got to meet you in Detroit and…if I didn’t love your brother so much I’d say you give the best hugs of all…and it really meant the most to me…but I never said that…LOL..shhh…
Merry Christmas, Jonathan, and if I don’t get to say so before..Happy New Year too! 2009 is gonna be OFF THE HOOK cause we the fans are SOOOO gonna BRING IT!!!
Love and kisses,

And don’t mind Mexico too much, the New England beaches are beautiful even at wintertime, and they are less crowded now. And you have a chance for a ‘White Christmas’ at home. I wish we had snow - but it is so dark and gloomy over here recently. Still can’t wait for Christmas to come!

If you’re still here, we’re still here. Maybe I shouldn’t speak for everyone, but I know it’s true for me at least. Its pretty sweet that you check the site every night, that you stay connected to the fans like that, even during your time off!
I hope you have a safe trip home, and a fantastic holiday. I’ll be looking forward to that blog about Mexico.
Happy holidays and lots of love!

Shoot, I clicked ENTER too soon. Sorry.
I wish you and your family the most incredible Christmas ever and that 2009 is filled with joy and brings you everything you want and deserve. You are an awesome person, Jonathan, and I feel privileged to have been near you and Jordan for the little time I was (TWICE!) at the Ft. Lauderdale concert.
You and the Boys make my life interesting, fun, and fill my days with joy. Imagine how powerful that you are able to do that in the lives of so many people, and you don’t even have to be near them always to cause a change. I admire you for that.
Oh, and I hope that you are still enjoying your “novel”!
All my love, admiration and well wishes now and always,
Pao

Hi Jon,
I’m glad you enjoyed Mexico and the break you’ve had so far!
I’ve been trying to stay warm in this surprisingly winter weather. It usually doesn’t get this cold or this snowy in the Puget Sound. I’ve been told it hasn’t been this bad since the early 90’s, and we might even get a white Christmas! Today we had about 8 inches of snow, and we’ve been told to expect more. I’m just trying to keep my ass warm like Joey told me to.
Enjoy the remaining weeks of your vacation. I hope you are able to get the rest you need to push through the next round of touring. Looks like there won’t be much of a break after the European leg, and you’ll be back to see the US again. I can’t wait to see what 2009 holds!
Love always,

Thank you for being you and I can not beleive you are all viewing the Website and corresponding when you should be resting and taking a break from all of this. He really enjoys antagonizing you huh???
I hope you are home in your own house and feeling good. I really wish you every happiness in the world.

Jonathan m’dear, you guys went away for YEARS and yet here we all still are. Did you honestly think that we’d disappear after a matter of a couple of WEEKS? C’mon, you know us better than that. OF COURSE we’ll still be here, (im)patiently waiting for your future blogs.
We at nkotbfans.com will make EVERY Thursday “Plaid Thursday” if it’ll help us get more Jonblogs like we did today.
It’s stinking hot in the middle of summer here in Oz right now, and yet I was wearing a plaid shirt to bed in honour of the cause so I’d be plaid-ified in unity with all my fellow Jongirls on the other side of the world. The silly things we do in the name of the New Kids! LOL
Seriously though, thanks for checking in with us, and I wish you and your loved ones a very happy and safe Christmas and New Year.
I’m glad you’ve been enjoying your time off, and I hope your batteries will be sufficiently recharged by the time the tour kicks off again.
lotsa love

Of course we are here for you! We love you guys and a true fan will always be here. 2008 was a blast. I went to 3 concerts and the Walmart signing on Long Island (even though we didn’t get a chance to meet you and get an album signed, we got to walk through Walmart and shake you hands). I asked one of my girl friends to go the a concert because she was a fan way back when. She said ok I guess. Well she is now so hooked she can’t get enough. We can’t wait for the next tour. We are going to get VIP Tickets so we can meet you guys. NKOTB forever!!!!!!!!!
Here’s wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy Healthy New Year.
We love you,
April

Hi Jon,
It’s so sweet of you to take time out of your day to blog. It’s so nice to hear from you even though it’s been a while. Happy to hear that you had an amazing time in Mexico, yeah if I was in your shoes I’d rather be on the “BEACH” then to have to look outside and not see my car casuse in covered in SNOW!! I’m a beach person and I love it..
Anyways… I just want to wish you and you family a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year all the best for “2009″
Lots of love..

Can’t wait to hug your neck in 2009.
kisses and love and hugs

Hey Jon,
I am happy to hear the American tour ended in a nice warm place. I know I could use some warm beach time right now. The NW is experiencing a white fall/winter transistion. There was 6 1/2 inches when I checked this morning. We don’t usually get our snow until late January early Feb. Well I hope you have a great, well rested holiday in Boston.
Can’t wait to see you again in the new year…thanks for all the new memories.
Love ya…

Well, Jonathan, I hope you made it safely back to Beantown with all this nasty weather. Im here in the Chicago area and woke up to 3/4″ of ice on EVERYTHING. I had to beat my car to get the ice off today. Anyway, HAPPY SHOPPING! I finally finished mine last night. And of course, I went waaay over budget. But I cant help it, I want my kids to have a wonderful Christmas! They really deserve it for being so great. I have created 2 NKOTB monsters. My 8 year old daughter Emily is a Jordan girl and my 5 year old son thinks Donnie is COOL! And of course, they both think you are just pure awesome, cuz their mommy is a Jongirl THROUGH AND THROUGH!
Man, I am really tired. Sorry for this stupid comment. But I mostly just wanted to wish you safe travels for the holiday. And I hope you stay warm, LOL!
Love you!

Dear Jon,
The chances of you reading this reply are slim to none. BUt just in case I wanted you to know how great it has been for me that you guy’s are all back. It takes me back tto a time when things weren’t so hard. When I was a kid and didn’t have the worries that I now have. I am a single mom with 3 wonderful children. I am working 2 jobs to survive. Not to mention all of the other things that I am dealing with. The holidays for me ar ehte hardest time of year. And it is a struggle to make it the happiest time of year for my children. But I do it. Having you guy’s back making music, reminds me of all the concerts I attened, the opportunities where I got to meet all of you, and for the moments where I felt important to you guy’s. All of you guy’s had the wonderful knack of making people feel important when you were with them. I will always treasure those times that you made me feel like that. I wasn’t able to attend your Kansas City concert as working 2 jobs made it impossible. But I do listen to your music constantly and I do think of you guy’s all the time. I hope that you have a wonderful christmas and just know that there is someone in Topeka, Ks that will ALWAYS be thinking of you.

Don’t forget Christmas shopping and all the neices and nephews. I got mine done, all 10 of them LOL Seriously, hope you and your crew have a great holiday season and a very Blessed New Year. Dear Mr. Knight,
My daily ritual… actually I should say, my hourly ritual is to log on to the NKOTB site with “The Block” on repeat in my office from 8-5. I guess I do that just to smile and rejuvenate those butterflies I so remember having at 15 …. You guys actually give a lot to us girls, hope and faith… you give us that confidence back that “YES… life can be vicariously fun as it was 15 years ago!” I can’t seem to put it down in the correct wording what your comeback has done to some of our lives. It’s kind of like we were waiting for you all these years to give us a reason to break out of our tedious shells and feel those Goosebumps again. Well whatever I’m trying to say, I guess what it comes down to, is all 5 of you have brought us back in 2008, where 2009 will be the real deal. Where life will be chasing those 5 hunks we remember from 1992, except in a more mature way =D I feel like screaming like a little school girl when if comes to you guys, but then I realize my age… 30 in January =D and I just end this reply with …
The Block’s reestablishments into the lives of their once young teenage devotees have reinitiated their enthusiasm for a vicariously boisterous life. (That’s kinda like a school girl scream in a 30 year old tone =D haha)
Merry Merry Christmas Jon and Happy and safe New Year, and tell your non-blogging brother (haha) that hugs and kisses come his way from a huge fan in New York….. =D
Love Always,

Hi Jon
I am sure that you are busy and try to have some time to enjoy yourself on the time that you have off.You know the time is going to fly and before you know it you are on your way over the water and to England.I hope that you had a great birthday and a great time in Mexico.I love the snow and the cold but when you have below 0 and only a couple of degrees, you start to think a little about the beach and warm places.
I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas and a new year.see you in 2009.
December 25th, 2008 at 2:52 am
Please take care & have the happiest Christmas & New Year & a great European tour come Jan & Feb…It won’t be warm & balmy like Mexico, but has it’s own charms. My friends over there can’t wait to see you perform as great as you did for me & my US friends during the Fall US tour & the super tight hugs you gave us at our Meet & Greets. You hugged me before in FL at Jordan’s Street Team Party Aug of 2006 & it was sweet & warm…but you took me totally by surprise in St Louis when you hugged me so hard that afterwords I said, describing it, that I thought my head would pop off, LOL!!!!! My friend in Chicago said you took her breath away & she meant it literally!!!!!!!!!!ha ha ;)~….Don’t eat too many cookies & tell Jordan to save the Twix Bars for the tours. You & Jordan made me VERY happy when you said in unison to me that you’d come back after Jordan told me “you have to come back” & I replied “YOU have to come back. I only hope I can find the money for another Meet & Greet
I love you. Please keep writing us. I loved your blogs. I KNOW getting Jordan to write one is nearly impossible…BUT I’m so glad you do! Gail

Hey Jonathan!
I hope you really enjoyed your Christmas! My kids made out like BANDITS this year! I hope your nieces and nephews had as much fun as my kids did, if not MORE! What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? I dont have any plans as of yet. I may just sit at home where it’s safe and have a few home-made drinks… I don’t know about you, but I have been off work for FIVE days now, and I am going insane. I cannot wait to get back to work tomorrow! And I have to find me another night job… I was thinking of working at Stahbucks… What do you think? I wonder if they give discounts to their employees… Its all YOUR fault I have gotten addicted to them!! It could be a fun place to work, though. Im gonna put in my application tomorrow morning when I make my daily stop @ 6:30am for my daily fix. Wish me luck!

happy new year sexy sweet man. Hey you okay I know longest I think I have gone since you guys put up this site that I have went without at least blogging you a little but with Christmas and New Years I was totally crazy whole time. Tonight is possibly the beginning of normal life returning. my family that is up from florida are driving home tomorrow so i have all sorts of cousins here tonight. Terry and Joe who are like my Aunt and Uncle are going home tomorrow so their kids were all here tonight to say goodbye they all still live here brooklyn and long island. In fact the long island group of Nicole who I call my cousin but is more like my little sister than anything, her husband frank and my adorable nephew Dominic are all spending the night. I am thinking the moment I can actually get to sleep, I am going to hear an adorable 9 month old howling me back awake lol, it is almost 3am so I guess I am keeping your sleeping patterns tonight lol. Hope the sleeping patterns are better now that you are home and you have gotten some rest and back to normal.
truth is I am not asleep because I got a copy of the movie Curious Case of Benjamin Button the one where Brad Pitt is born old and then turns young. I was totally into it when it began and I had to stop watching when everyone arrived to run after the adorable nephew and to protect the dog. Domenic believes him and Bella are best friends. Bella the very small dog I think she believes Dominic is the devil himself and is terrified of him and tries to get away and is not thrilled that he thinks her toys are his toys and he keep trying to grab her tail. She is now sleeping in her parents suitcase ready to go back and sunbathe by her florida pool and hope she never sees this demon seed child again lol. Anyway I could not keep watching the movie until everyone settled in for the night and it is so great you really should see it if you have’nt already.
Okay time for me to try to sleep before I hear a cry for a 9 month old wanting either his mommy or his nanny since he is in his grandparents room tonight. Hope you had a great chance to relax and catch up with your family and play with your dog. Hope Christmas and New Years were great and filled with special memories. Love you sweetie remember to relax these next few days you have to yourself. Love you bunches and bunches

I couldn’t help but notice that yawl are gona be in Miami, FL on May 15, 2009. Now how hard would it be to jump on a plane and fly right on up to
P-cola. Pensacola, FL and the entire Gulf Coast for that matter would show yawl sooo much love. We Southern gals are very hospitable. Oh its true! Believe the hype! You know you want too. Sunny skies…warm beaches…Hot Girls? Come on down south where the women know how to treat thier men.
