I have so much I want to say to you. I really want to be able to tell you how much I adore you and appreciate everything you have done for me! A few months back I wrote you about my anticipated attendance at the Philly concert. I also took the time to congratulate you and the rest of the group on your recent success, as well as express my appreciation for you coming back together. I have been a fan for almost twenty years. The concert ended up being an overwhelming time for me. I found myself being fortunate enough to meet all of you before the concert. I had written a letter to Q102 and explained to them I had been a fan of NKOTB and their radio station for almost twenty years. I inquired whether or not they knew if you guys were doing any promotional events while in town. Being impressed with my letter, they gave me the opportunity to do a "meet and greet" experience with other fans they had randomly selected. I was both nervous and excited about getting the chance to finally meet the group. I've always been a relatively shy person, especially around guys. I had no idea what I was going to find myself saying to any of you. I really worried about finding myself tongue tied. I was relieved when all of you were so down to earth, humble and gracious of the opportunity to meet us. You were so sweet and sincere with both your kindhearted words and hugs. It felt so wonderful after almost twenty years to finally have the chance to meet you, ask each of you how you were doing, thank you and congratulate you on your success. Honestly, I was mostly anticipating meeting you (my favorite). I remembered my teen years daydreaming about meeting you, having a moment, falling in love and sharing an incredible life together with you. Our time together turned out to be almost perfect. We definitely shared a moment together. I felt an instant connection and we ended up spending our time smiling and laughing with each other. It was just like I had hoped it would be with you. Being inside your arms felt wonderful, while it was extra special when you commented me on my "beautiful face". I instantly found myself falling in love with you all over again. It was like you somehow just knew what I needed at that particular moment in my life. Exactly two weeks before (my 33rd birthday) I had come to a decision in my life. Based on certain experiences and unfortunate relationships in my past, I chose to finally give up on my fantasy of finding the man of my dreams, falling in love with him, having a family and sharing an incredible life together. I decided it was best for me to stop hoping for those things since it seemed increasingly obvious that those things weren't going to happen for me. I was really tired of facing the disappointments year after year. I concluded it was time for me to finally embrace my singlehood. Without going into too much detail, I will just say this past year has been challenging ones for me. Because of certain events I ended up doing a lot of self-discovery. I'll just say I had hit rock bottom. After I heard what you went through in your own life that lead to your decision to reunite with the group, I am hoping you will be able to relate. (Let me take this opportunity to say I am truly sorry to hear about your divorce, as well as the deaths of your father and sister. My thoughts continue to be with you and your family). Anyways, I wanted to believe I was ready to embrace my singlehood, but then that moment with you made me realize I was not ready. The moment I shared with you reminded me of something I had tried to convince myself I did not want or need. It was then that I realized no matter how hard I tried I wasn't going to be able to convince myself otherwise. You reminded me of something I wanted as long as I can remember. I still do want to meet someone, share a moment with them and fall in love. I really do want someone in my life to smile and laugh with, as well as tell me I have a "beautiful face". After all, it is something I've been dreaming about since I was thirteen years old! I am so thankful for the moment we shared. My only complaints were that it did not last longer and that I wasn't able to get a picture to remember our moment. Unfortunately, the picture taken of us is with the entire group and other fans (please see my profile photo). When the photo was taken, I was standing next to Joe while you were surrounded by three other girls. As you notice you are not smiling or laughing. I wish I would have been able to get a picture of us smiling and laughing together to remind me how incredible it truly was for the both of us. Meeting you and the rest of the guys reminded me that there are incredible guys out there and every once in awhile you're lucky enough to meet them and even find one truly incredible guy that you can share an amazing moment with who might even remind you that you are "beautiful"! I'm not saying I will only settle for ending up with you (even though, I have to admit that would ABSOLUTELY rock my world), but instead it's just that I want to find someone like you...someone that is sweet, smart, funny, creative, loveable and very sexy! I really do want someone that will make me smile and laugh, as well as tell me I'm "beautiful". In other words, I am not giving up the hope of finding those things. I want to keep believing that someday I will be able to find someone, fall in love, have a family and share an incredible life together with them. I guess it would be safe to say it's the idea of someone like you and the possibility of those things happening. So, thank you for reminding me of those things (and the importance of staying true to myself), as well as making me feel the way you did during our moment together. Anyways, I had blast at the Glendale, Az and Dallas, TX shows, which were the two shows I was talking about that I attened last month. I ment you guys at the Dallas show,and it was the best time I ever had! And I want to thank you for that! However, I did want to go to another show besides those two but just don’t really have the money to, plus traveling expenses. You said about finding way here in the blog, well if its posable for you help me find a way,like tickets and traveling expenses and so on, I will go! But if you can’t I’ll just have to wait to see you guys during the summer tour, hint hint. You guys are doing a summer tour here in the USA aren’t you? If you are I will be there! And than I will try to find someway to bring a sign just for you guys! I will also try to make a special shirt to wear too! You guys are worth it!
