Madison Square Garden is like playing in the Super Bowl- its still
just a show. You go out and do your thing; give it your best shot,
execute what you’ve practiced and hit it. But at MSG every move and
song is heightened. You are soaking up every moment but constantly
aware that you are in “the world’s most famous arena”. Its a place
that for many fields is a pinnacle and in the music business it is
viewed by many as the coolest place to play. Playing there, I think of
the location- right in the heart of Manhattan, close to “Broadway”…
I lived in NYC for ten years and walked by so many many times, been
there a bunch- during basketball games the court is illuminated in such
an inimitable way there…such theater. And of course, I had performed
there with the “Kids” before and at 16 I knew it was special. And
maybe for the first time, the younger me enjoyed it more cuz I wasn’t
thinking so much then. Don’t get me wrong, I had a blast and now I
have another photo album of memories in my heart. But I left that
night wanting more- like it was half-time instead of the end of the
game.
Walking down the back stage hallway, lined with photos with so much
history, so many great artists.
Such a privilege, I’d be a fool to wish for another.
But then again….

I’m sure you did just great, you always do! As you once said. “Drink it up”, enjoy it. You definately deserve it. NKOTB was hot back in the day, but as far as I’m concerned, hotter today. You have so many more good things coming your way.
Don’t ever stop performing and singing, you belong on the stage. I enjoy watching you. What’s with all these pranks being pulled on your while your onstage. Are you planning any revenge on the guys? I can tell you all are having a blast, and we really enjoyed the last one. (NKTV) Priceless! Have you seen how much that post has blown up in 2 day? Insane! See what you guys do to us?
Keep keepin on! Peace!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and memories with us. I have been trying to sum up my experience seeing you in San Antonio and just haven’t found the words, but you said it all. It felt like half time and you left us wanting more. Is it selfish to want more? I don’t think so. You can’t have too much of a good thing :)I really hope you guys add a 2nd leg to the tour. I would love to see the show one more time. I think the first time I was in shock and didn’t really take it all in. We need another tour!!!
Be safe on the rest of the tour. Tell your families thanks for sharing you with us!
Shelley
October 29th, 2008 at 6:21 am
Joey Joe!!
Leave it to you to keep things in perspective. We too want MORE!!!!! The past 15 years something in us has been dormant just like I am sure it has been for each of you. With the 5 of you back together again, we are all ALIVE AND KICKING again… Thank you for taking us along on the ride.. It has been a pleasure watching you grow into such a wonderful, respectable man. Tell the guys thank you for never letting us fans down and sticking to your morals and roots and not letting the fame get the best of you.
Can’t wait to meet you in Denver, 5* VIP. I want a photo and autograph with you.
By the way, the MSG prank, was not funny at the time, but I love that you guys are still the funny, down to earth, light hearted bunch that you always have been. Maybe that is why the chemistry has always been right when you all are together.

We have to wait 4 months…pfff!
October 29th, 2008 at 6:23 am
Thanks for sharing that with us. I have to say as an East Coast gal, I am ashamed to say I have never been to MSG. Someday…. You guys must have had a blast, pranks and all.
I can say when I saw you in Boston, I left with a very similar feeling. It can’t be over! It doesn’t feel over… I want to do it all over again! So why not???? See you next week in Providence!
October 29th, 2008 at 6:24 am
It is wonderful to read such a response to playing MSG. We, as fans, are so excited and can not wait to see you guys in person. For us to know that you are enjoying it as much as we are makes it even sweeter. We thank you for making us feel young again and bringing us back to those wonderful moments from our teenage years.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:24 am
I wish I could’ve been there to share that memory with you guys….I missed the Coliseum’s concert and the one at MSG…but I try to keep things positive and have that memory of meeting you at the signing on Long Island about 2 months ago. The Garden is a great place to be, and you know that the Kids will be posted up in the hallway of memories one day very soon. I hope you guys decide to come back to New York sooner then later….to give me that chance to see you again, Joke around with you and Jordan like we did on the Island….Loved you since I was 13 now 29… my how time flys by, but you never forget your first loves, all five of them! {hugs} Keep rocking the world, you guys can’t leave us…we’d be lost again.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:24 am
dfAs a fan for 20 plus years, I can honestly say that the concert at MSG was mind blowing. How you all have the stamina to do what you do all of these years later boggles my mind. You were all phenomenal. The fans are so lucky that you all chose to take time away from your families to to this once again!!
October 29th, 2008 at 6:24 am
how great is that? do you know every person seeing you gets the same feeling you are describing? most of us have experienced other entertainers/bands, but when nkotb arrives, it is the super bowl of concerts…we don’t want it to be over either!! so glad that you were able to have that experience for your memory bank!

Only because of your video blog, and showing us the back halls of the MSG and your venture along the way, can some of us understand the feelings you must be having. Seeing you TO was fantastic and I will keep it with me forever. Your journey has only just begun and will take you to many sites/people of greatness. Congrats on your tour and all your success!
October 29th, 2008 at 6:52 am
I must say reading this gives me a bit of insight into what makes you all so special. That desire, drive, destiny for more…always reaching to make your fans experience something spectacular, something above and beyond anything they’ve experienced before. It’s amazing, you truly do acheive this. Keep wanting more, Joe. It’s when we’re no longer hungry that we lose our edge.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:52 am
Yeah, that’s all great and all, but OMGOSH that joke…kind of mean. I remember what pranksters you used to be and obviously still are. And in the back of my head I probably knew it was just a joke, but there was a part of me that wondered if it were true. And that was the part that panicked! So glad you’re in such awe about playing MSG…and if/when you guys decide to pull a prank again at least let us know it’s a prank after a while! Thank you!
October 29th, 2008 at 6:52 am

I went the exact same day after the show and took the MSG Tour!! I wanted to experience being in the world’s most famous theatre!! I stood exactly where you were and was amazed at all the talent on the walls….I just hope one day…they will post a pic of NKOTB…you deserve to be up there with the all the great talents!! October 29th, 2008 at 7:03 am
Is that a hint that there really will be a summer tour? I hope so! Because your fans haven’t had enough yet
I was at the show in Detroit on Saturday night. My best friend and I had an amazing time! Thanks for rocking the Palace!
Oh, and if you could do me a favor I’d appreciate it. I was seated on the floor and when you guys walked back by my row on your way back to the main stage, I had my hand out. Some girl spilled her drink as she tried to attack one or all of you and as you were stepping over it to avoid the mess, I thought I was going to be passed by. But then Jon reached over, grabbed my hand and squeezed it. So please tell him thanks for making my night even better than it already was

It sounds like an amazing privilege. Hopefully you will get to go again!
I saw you twice in Chicago – you all were amazing! After flying out to New York too see you all at the Today show – and not getting too close – it was such a thrill to be 12th row and then just about front row for the smaller stage. Perhaps you remember me – I was the crazy fan holding up a jean jacket with a New Kids patch affixed to the back. (My mom made me the jacket when I was in 3rd grade! How funny!) Seeing you guys so close was my 9 year old dream that came true at the age of 26!
Good luck with the rest of the tour! Congrats on your marriage and your little son!!
Please come back to Chicago!!

Good Morning Blue Eyes. Just a quick question. Was Jordan really hurt or was that just y’all joking around like always?
October 29th, 2008 at 7:13 am
Just come out and say it….please!! Stop. The. Teasing. It’s as bad as dangling a nice, juicy, ribeye steak in front of a hungry dog. For those of us who’ve already attended your concert, we are wanting MORE!! So grant us all a Christmas gift by announcing you’ll be doing another US tour next summer. That is on my Christmas wishlist, and thankfully my husband is very understanding with all this!
October 29th, 2008 at 7:13 am
The end of the game…………….*Sigh*
Well, Mr Mc you’ve done it once, twice…..Who knows what life has in store. I saw you belting out “New York” on a vid from MSG. Like you said when you ended.. “It’s not how your start, It’s how you finish!” If this is a note to end it on with the reunion and doing things the right way and being content with your work and doing things your way- then what a way to end it.
Have y’all seen Spike Lee’s Joint “Do the right thing”?
“Yo Sal, how come there no brothers up on the wall?”…………..LMAO (I hope one of you guys have or you wont get it)
When do you guys get you pic up in MSG?
See you in Jan @ the O2 VIP

This was an absolute amazing concert. I have been to the one in Montreal, and this one by far was much more outrageous! This has been exciting trip following NKOTB after all these years. I still have another concert to attend in Borgata November 7th, and can’t wait! Meeting you guys has also been wonderful, which makes me even more obsessed. LOL!!! No words can explain my excitement and joy I feel when hearing your music!! Love you guys ~always and forever~ <3charlene

Joey baby you are never a fool for wanting more…I know we all want more of you guys too and are very hopeful that you guys will keep going! I love you and thank you again for giving us OUR dream come true! Long live The Block!
October 29th, 2008 at 7:22 am
It must be the pinnacle of a career, kind of like winning the superbowl. The build up and then there’s after. I hope that the arenas to come still give you some sense of satisfaction. We are so anticipating your future performances!…better with age, Joe, better with age, no doubt! And, I’m so happy to see your son with you every so often! I hope the other guys are able to get some one-on-one with their families through this…they must miss them terribly! Thank-you again, for giving of your time and your heart to this whole thing! The BLOCK is back and stronger than ever!

Aw…it’s still half time because you haven’t been to Charlotte, yet! Okay, so it’s not the Madison, but the people there will make it seem you’re into the second half of the game:) Does that sound vain?
Anyway, I will see you all tomorrow night, and I can’t wait! This is a dream for me, and tomorrow night will be my “Madison Square Garden” moment:)
Thank you for sharing with us, as always! I love my Joey Joe:) (I am so happy to be seing the Smiley Face jacket again…woohoo!).

Also, LOVED How you sang “NEW YORK NEW YORK”- That was great!!
October 29th, 2008 at 7:32 am
Hey Joe,
That’s always been a dream of mine as well. I probably won’t get to perform @ MSG unless they bring theater there. Although I love to sing - I think I’m a better actress. Anywho, who knows - maybe we’ll be casted in something together someday. But for now - thanks for the show at MSG you were FAB and the boys were GREAT! I am still completely SHOCKED at the fact that you hit those “please dont go girl” notes! You probably had to do major training for that. All-in-All, you were GREAT and I am so happy to see that you’ve grown into such a GREAT singer and performer! Rock on my brother and stay real!

What a great experience for you! I love reading these blogs from you guys! I can’t WAIT to see you in Utah in a few weeks!
(I must say….when I saw the title “Joe and MSG” I thought I was going to be reading about the MSG that causes headaches that’s in a lot of chinese food. I was so worried you had a migraine or something awful. I’m glad you’re not sick!
Haha!)
October 29th, 2008 at 7:41 am
hey joe!
you should totally write up a journal bout this reunion tour and sell it! or..give it to us fans…everytime you write its pure magic!! i love reading your thoughts and can’t wait to read more! I had a blast at MSG, mainly the VIP, cuz i had to sit through most of the concert(damn knee). oh btw, it was AWESOME meeting you! i was in b group and the last one out. I jokingly scratched you back and when you turned around and greeted me…dude i think you gave me a slight heart attack. it was the most unexpected sensation but, you are GORGEOUS( i know you know but in person and up close it was like i was surrounded in this fog, like you at the Borgata, of just how amazing you are)!! oh…BESO BESO from me and my cousin…next time we will show you what that means!!!! BUUUUT when i saw on the screen that you got on the piano and sang New York New York…i cried for the first time at a NKOTB concert(don’t get me wrong y’all always manage to tear me up at some point at every show ive been to) but it really really hit me Monday. That was the song my dad always had me sing at all the filipin parties when i was younger…and to actually be in NYC, with the all y’all and to have you (mr. sinatra’s #1 fan) belting out that song with your wonderful voice…i’m teary just remembering that moment!!! btw…last night lynn and i sang NY NY in your honor during our NKOTB/80’s/depressing love song Karaoke night:):)
see you next week!

Hi Joe,
I hope you get the opportunity to return and finish the 2nd half. But then also to be sure to get back to Chicago and play some overtime. I’ll be one of the girls in the Windy City…. waiting with my neon green JOE sign. This time I’ll try not to lock my keys in the car if you should appear in the parking lot.
I am cherishing every moment from the concerts, to meeting you guys (planned and unplanned experiences), and meeting all of the other ladies who have waited just as long as me. I too hope I’m not a fool to wish for more NKOTB.
Love,
Brandie

I hope this is only halftime and you guys will be around for quite a while. This has left us wanting more too.
Stay well on the road.

Joe, I just love reading your blogs. You are a very good writer. Have you ever written stories? I imagine you would probably be excellent at writing children’s books. Especially with the inspiration of your child to guide you.
I have never been to MSG myself, but have always wanted to see it. I’m glad your show went well and am soooooo looking forward to my turn in Kansas City on November 11! Take care of that beautiful voice!

I was at MSG and you guys were amazing!! I have to say that was the best concert I had ever been to, and I have been to a lot!! When you guys first came out I felt like a little girl all over again screaming and jumping up and down. I had goosebumps every where. You guys are great performers and have so much talent! I’m so glad you guys have come back to your fans. New Kids fans never die and we will follow your journey all the way!! I was a die hard fan back in the day but now I have much more appreciation for you guys and what you do. I couldn’t believe how packed the garden was and at the end when you guys did hanging tough and seeing everyone wave their arms is something i will never forget..Thanks for a great show!!! Can’t wait till you come back to NY…Oh and for Jon who said he was shy..he was great and adorable…you guys just keep shining!!!

Oh Joey: Thank you for sharing that experience with me. I can only imagine how amazing that felt. NYC/Broadway is the place I hope to come someday in the near future. I can only imagine the magic that you feel being there.
Just to think you stood where “Ole Blue Eyes” himself has stood probably so many times; that in itself had to be an fabulous feeling. I can just feel your heart right now.
But I have to say seeing you and the rest of the NKOTB men for the first time; you really have a amazing stage presence. You really stand out and shine. More than Jordan and Donnie; I enjoyed watching and hearing you. Now mind you I love looking at Donnie I think he is the greatest looking man alive, but you really hold the stage with your singing abilty, and you are not so hard on the eyes either. But when you’ve got it, you’ve got it. And Baby Blues you have it. Don’t lose it. Keep it coming, keep it coming.
Thank you again for coming back and giving me an opportunity to see you and the NKOTB men.
October 29th, 2008 at 7:56 am
Hey Joey Joe,
It’s about time you finally wrote us. I was wondering to myself when will he ever write to he’s fans. I was totally missing you. Which reminds me, I totally had such a good time and a wonderful time on October 2nd at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. to see you in concert for the 2nd time. Esp with the guys Donnie, Jonathan, Jordan and Danny. You all just made my night. I never screamed so much in my entire life. It was like everytime I saw you on the screen and when you were on the piano or beside it I just kept screaming your name and saying I LOVE YOU. After it was totally OVER I was still arounded up afterwards. Plus I didn’t fall out until 3:11 that morning. Anyhow, I’m praying that you will return back to Washington, D.C. next year and please. I’m dying to meet you and the guys in person someday. That has always been my Childhood Dream since I was 10 years old.

I am so glad that you are still able to be in awe of your life. You all really have such a great life. What fun. I want to go on tour with you! Come on! I’m super fun! I missed you guys on the 24th in Chicago. The work party that I threw to “distract” myself turned into a nightmare from the 17th circle of hell. I was crying in the parking lot because it was a mess and I knew what I was missing. I really hope you can come back to Chicago or do another tour so I can redeem myself! Someone I know went (thanks for the invite!) and Donnie took her camera while on stage B and took pictures! I can’t wait to see them! I hope you continue to enjoy this. I know I will. Love you all, Love me

Hi!
I was at the MSG show & let me tell you it was AMAZING!! There aren’t enough words to describe just how good it was for me and my friends.
It doesn’t have to be the “end of the game” like you said above - You don’t want to wait 15+ years to come back. NYC & MSG will always welcome NKOTB back with open arms!! We all love you & would all fill the Garden over & over again!

Definitely felt the goosebumps! What a natural high it must be to be a performer! You rock it on stage, but even more when you are meeting your fans. I appreciate how modest and genuine you are when meeting us (I met you back in Chicago when you were promoting Talk to Me)! Thank you for being a showman, an idol, and staying true to yourself!!
October 29th, 2008 at 8:09 am

I <3 you, Joe. I love all of you.
Meeting you all in Chicago at the M&G will be one of the most memorable moments of my life.
I was so locked up and afraid to talk… I think I got a “we met your dad years ago and he was so great to us” out…
That was only part of a great story. Maybe some day soon, I’ll get to share a few of the beautiful details with you. If you’re interested in hearing it.
Thank you all so much for doing this. I look around at how crazy it must be for you an only hope the craziness doesn’t get to be too much and pushes you all away again.
My best friend (who ironically met your dad with me) said yesterday she didn’t want to go to a show and get attached again… she couldn’t put herself through the heartache of another rocky split
I know the feeling.
I wish we could put into words what you all mean to some of us. But it is impossible. But another thing she said was… “Damn, Tasha. Those guys gave us a lot of ambition, didn’t they? Something to shoot for?” That’s an understatement, but the best words can do I guess.
Thank you, Joe.
All my love,
Natasha
October 29th, 2008 at 8:25 am
My love JOEY,
I could tell how excited you were through NKTV. I really love watching that! I wish I could go to the show in NYC. I went to the show in CHICAGO last week. My dreams of 20 years finally came true! I cannot thank you more for coming back! Thanks for the great loving show. I loved your sweet voice and sexy dance! I could not stop crying while you came up on the stage singing SINGLE. I’ve got to see you, hug you and tell you how much I love you next time! I love you always and keep on Rockin’! Take care!
PS. Pleeeease come and see us in Japan, too!
October 29th, 2008 at 8:27 am
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. MSG is such a special place for every musician. I am so glad you had an amazing show at MSG after all those years. I really wish I was there…(I had my friend at the front row center and she had a blast!)
Joe, sorry for the stupid question… did you get emotional being at MSG more than being at TD banknorth garden? I was watching Celtics opening game tonight on tv, and I was like “ohh garden… I was there… Paul Pierce joined the show… I had a blast… I met them…!” and I got goose bumps. It may sound strange but TD banknorth garden is now very special place for me =)
Love,

October 29th, 2008 at 8:30 am
So eloquently written Joe! Thanks for giving us a bit of your heart in this blog. It’s pretty much how I have felt each show I’ve been to this time. I hope I’m not “a fool to wish for another!!”

Dear Joe,
You deserve to perform there. You and the “kidz’ were great and still great now. You have proven that. I’m not there, I am miles-miles away, but from what I saw in this website, I think you all did great. It’s a another new beginning for your career. You did solo (and you do great coz you came to my country which is so far away from US to do promo album) and now you try to be with the “kidz’ again and your fans are still there. You guys still good performer, but with different taste now (which is totally okay, actually).
You have rocked the world, and you do again now.
I’ve seen NKTV (show 29), part that you said, “Before Justin, there were Jordan.” I laughed at the moment, coz you are so right, Joe. But you know, donnie is right too, “First it was Frank, then it was Joey D.” Although you must have a million records to catch him…
It’s not the end of the game, Joe. You still have many chances to be bigger and bigger.
Love

Much hugs, love and thanks,

Wow….I have goosebumps from reading that.
I continue to have more and more respect for you, with every thing I read.
You are an amazing person, with amazing dreams, and you are so successful, not only because you are amazingly talented, but you ALWAYS strive for more. That shows a great entertainer, your lines don’t end at just being with “The Kids”.
Joe, you WILL have another show at MSG…I can guarantee, as you will at MANY other amazing arena’s around North America and The World. The Block has resurfaced in a way most thought would be unimagineable.
The show is amazing, I was so fortunate to see you 3 times in Toronto….and I can’t wait to get myself out to another show.
You have some serious talents Joe, and as Donnie said….
“First there was the Chair Man of the Board, Then Joey D….There has only been 1 OL’BLUE EYES since Frank, and thats you”
Keep doing what your doing Joe, because you are so extremely talented!
I’ll always be a fan!

Hi Joe,
Thank you all so much for a Great Night!
I was a vip 5 star.
You guys still have it. You are GREAT singers, GREAT performers. I’ve been to many concerts and this one is the best one.
Please tell Jon I said hello. I was the one who stood up at the end of the show and threw him a kiss(turqouise shirt). He thought I was crazy for doing something like that. I am Extremely shy and never have I done anything like that….but I just had to do it. I am fan of 20 years. I’m sure if you ask him, he’ll tell you.
Thank you Jordan for saving a spot for me to take the picture with you.
God bless all of you.

Ps: Joe my sister who is living in Greece wanted you to know that you still look really good. I forgot to tell you last night, sorry.

We can never get enough off you guys and we always want to see you guys on stage. So if you decide for other tours, we will be there for you and that will be a blast for all of us. Love you so much and so glad that you enjoyed being in MSG. Hope you will be performing there many times and again I’m hoping to be there in your concert one day. Love you lots.

You tease!! I loved watching the NKTV of you talking about all the legends that had been there before. You can tell that you really appreciate the classics. Guess what, YOU are a classic!! Well, after you hit up MSG again you might as well stop off here in Cleveland. Love you guys, thank you so much! XOXO Jenni

Joe, you gave me serious chills hearing you belt out “New York, New York” with all your heart! I was singing right along with you (the crowd went nuts went you did that - lemme tell you) I’m soooo happy and proud that you were able to do that in my hometown… Hopefully you’ll be able to do it again…soon…
October 29th, 2008 at 9:48 am
Hey Joe, I was at the Garden and it was, by far, the BEST show ever. I could not believe Donnie traded his Sox hat for the Yankee hat (I’m a huge Mets fan, so naturally I HATE the Yankees). It may have only been 5 minutes or so but it had to be torture for him…It was great to see the gratitude he (and all of you) showed to us NY’ers. You think that YOU wanted more? I think that we all wanted more. You guys def gotta come back!!!
Tara
PS - Loved the Sinatra thing!
October 29th, 2008 at 9:49 am
I know you get a ton of these messages, but I am so surprised by how much I love your new CD, and how wonderful your concert was! I have been listening to The Block daily since I bought it a month ago, and I never really do that. It is driving my husband crazy, because usually we listen to classic rock together. He did ask to hear Single the other day, so that was a step in the right direction. I was so sad I couldn’t see you the second time you came through Chicago, but maybe I can see you all again in the future. Much love.
October 29th, 2008 at 9:49 am
I know how you feel. This will sound silly, but after meeting you guys and seeing the show in Dallas, I am NOT satisfied. I NOW NEED MORE!
You guys are like a deliciously good drug. As always my simple request “Sexify My Love!”
October 29th, 2008 at 9:52 am
Leave us hanging with the “but then again…”
Thanks JOE.

I’m really glad you are enjoying this all so much. How are Griffin and Barrett doing on the road. It’s really nice how I keep hearing that the three of you get out a bit and tend to go out for a nice family breakfast in the morning when you can. That must bring some calm to all the chaos, well except for when you run into fans
Griffin is going to be so used to eating in restaurants that it will be a breeze to take him out! Is he walking yet? My daughter didn’t start til 14 months but he looked like he was well on his way (despite the bumpy bus rides).
Keep enjoying every minute of this (we all are) and thanks so much for all the updates, including the goofy ones (I knew Jordan wasn’t really hurt, you guys didn’t have me fooled for a minute … ok, maybe just for like a split-second).
Oh, and make sure you have another chance for Boston fans to meet you some day. I botched my first two chances to meet you, even after waiting out in the rain at 5 AM. None of that’s not your fault of course but I’m hoping for just one more chance!
Much Love,

Hey there Joe,
Thank you so much for sharing!! We BLOCKHEADS are anxiously waiting for you guys to share these sorts of sentiments with us. I’m sure the NY fans from Monday are so gracious for this too!
Hope you check FACEBOOK because, myself and like 20,000 other fans LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys……we are fanatic all over again because of the fact you guys came back to us. It was like, a long lost LOVE..that returned to our lives. I can’t work anymore…..it’s pathetic, but I’m having such a great time reliving my youth again with you boys.
Can’t wait to see you again LIVE!

Enjoy every minute because WE ARE LOVING IT!!! THANK YOU JOE!!! - Kathy (Cleveland VIP terrible towel girl);)
October 29th, 2008 at 10:26 am
Joe, I think you summed it up. I was wondering if the MSG show would really be “different” or “special” beyond the general amazingness that always comes with seeing you guys, and seeing you perform. (I think as a Knicks fan, I’ve been stuck with going to MSG lately for less-than-incredible experiences!) But let me tell you…the show had every ounce of “difference” and “specialness” that comes with being in the Greatest City in the World and in the World’s Most Famous Arena. Incredible, unbelievable show from start to finish, and sharing it with the sold-out crowd (and the Blockhead friends I’ve made since this reunion started) made it even better. I never got to see the New Kids in concert back in the day, and am going to at least four shows this tour (I have two left)…but I have to say that between the glorious 5* event at my first show at Izod, and the whole MSG experience, I don’t think I can top what’s already happened. I’ll just keep going to enjoy the kick-@$$ show and angle for a little more Face Time if I can get it.
But I’m an unbelievably happy and satisfied New Kids fan. I don’t think I can thank you guys enough for doing this reunion and making everything that’s happened this year possible.

Hey Joe,
Thats amazing that you realize how blessed you are and what a great privileged the experience. I felt nothing but gratitude from that blog .I would have to agree with the history aspect of MSG. Some people dont realize how blessed they are and what opportunities they have in front of them. I have never had the chance to go to the Gardens but I hear it is awsome. Thanks for being real..
Peace, love, and blessing

I was at MSG on 10/27. I had never been to a show as a teen. I didn’t knwo what to expect. The show was amazing!!! You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for making a 31yr old very happy–and for being such a huge part of my Middle School/teen years!

That’s exactly how I felt about meeting you guys and seeing you in concert in Detroit last Saturday. I thought once would be enough, that it was such an amazing experience, and that I was so lucky to have that front row center seat that I’d never need to do it again… and yet as I was leaving both the meet and greet and the concert, I already knew that I wanted to do it all over again. I don’t think i’ll ever be able to pass up the opportunity to see you guys live when you’re in town from here on out, whether as a group or as solo artists. I know how fortunate I was to be a part of that experience, and I know that no concert, no event, no performance, will ever even come close to what I experienced that night. But still, I WANT MORE!
Thank you for making all my years of being a fan pay off in one spectacular night, and congrats on MSG and all your other big moments recently… you deserve that and so much more. I said it to all five of you at the meet and greet, but I’ll say it again: I love you!!!
October 29th, 2008 at 10:35 am
Getting to meet you in chiago was a dream come true. You need to come back my picture with you didnt turn out and I need a better one. Thanks for coming back and letting us married moms feel like 15 year old screaming teenagers.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting more!
You wouldn’t be a fool, you guys have earned all of the accolades and all the special moments you’ve had. You’ve been doing this most of your life, and the passion, the drive, the talent.. it’s all there. I know what you’re saying but… if you want more.. then I hope you get it! If you want to be on that stage again, be in those halls with those famous faces, those influential artists… I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that you have that shot.
Of course.. I think at this point, it’s really just a matter of deciding that you really do want it. You know we’ll back you up!
So I guess I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll decide you want it, that the other guys decide they want it too. We’re here, we’re ready, we’re waiting for ‘what’s next’. What we aren’t ready for is all this to be over…!
Maybe this wasn’t halftime… maybe this was just the pre-show warm-up..?
Love you lots, Mr. Mac!

I agree I completely agree with the magnitude of MSG. When my girls and I (TX 4) traveled to NYC to see you guys on the Today Show in May, we traveled by train to MSG. When we stepped outside we just stood and gawked for a few minutes. We didn’t say anything…none of us had to. We just knew that being in the presence of the Garden was enough in itself. We were overwhelmed. Seeing the NKTV video of all of the entertainers that have graced the stages of MSG only reconfirms my feelings that were present in May. With that said, you guys DESERVE to be on that stage as well. You guys have gone through things as a group that would have corrupted and broken down friendships and relationships. However, you guys have always known that the most important aspect of any group is the dynamics between the individuals. THAT is what you guys have maintained. The friendship and respect for one another survived as has the significance of MSG.
We don’t want this to end. And as your song says “We don’t want to come down” from whatever this thing is. It’s amazing and wonderful and we want more. We know it is difficult in today’s society to lead such an outward and publicized life when you have a family and children and we thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of that.
I’m hoping that “And then again…” is a precursor for much, much more. I know each and everyone of you won’t be satisfied with one tour…you want more…and we want more.
See you next summer.

I wish I could have seen that show. But then again I wish I could go to all your shows! Just seeing you in Cleveland left me wanting MORE!!!! Soak it up and enjoy every moment, Joe! We love you and want you guys to keep coming back again….I hope you never tire of it! Is there any chance of you taping one of your shows and releasing it on iTunes or DVD???? I would love that….
Until next time, XOXOXOXOXO

I loved the video of you guys walking down the hall. Now they need to put your picture on the wall. How about between Frank & Bruce. What about Jordan, was that a big joke or did he really hurt himself? There has been no word from you guys about it. The fan site everyone is saying that it was a prank. I hope it was but if not wish him well and get better by Philly next Wed. I cant wait to see you guys!! I love the blogs and NKTV!!! Keep it comming Love you guys!! Amie

I wish I could have been there to see it. You played MSG on my birthday!!! And technically, I had the time off, but there’s no way my husband would have let me to go to New York just for a concert. Too bad.
Less than 4 weeks till I see you guys in Vancouver and then Seattle. It’s insane to think that your US tour is already half way over. I’ll definitely be looking forward to your summer tour next year. You should really go back to Reno and do the Lawlor Events Center. That would totally bring everything full circle for me. That was where I first saw you back in February 1991!
Love ya!

You guys were fabulous at MSG! I am so happy to have been a part of it. Glad you had a terrific time! Anytime you want to come back, feel free. Really. And you could have made that night last even longer if we all knew where you guys were partying it up! I tried to catch yours and Danny’s Escalade, Joe…I ran for 4 blocks and then my Asthma got the best of me. LMAO. The red lights decided to only be in my favor for so long I guess. Oh, well. Maybe next time.
