I watched it sunday and recorded it, concert preview and all, and I was in tears. You guys truly are the best. I still can’t believe I am actually going to see you soon…4 days. You guys have always been my favorite group. I liked the other “boybands” but they were nothing compared to the five of you. I love you all. And I will never stop being a huge huge fan. On another note, how can I meet you(since I don’t have VIP) and get pictures taken with you(and maybe a little hug? lol). I’ve always dreamed about meeting you, and this concert is the perfect chance for that to happen. But it would be even better, if I had a chance to see ya’s face to face. NKOTB4EVER.

I went out to dinner that night and thank GOD I new the owner of the place we went and ate b/c he turned the big screen on for me just so I could watch it. The show was amazing! So glad to have you guys back together. I will see you Oct 8th in Los Angeles. Guys if you read this I have a HUGE favor, I need you to open more 5* VIP tickets for either the 8th of Oct or 11th of Oct in Vegas or NOv 26th in Los Angeles. My dream is to meet you guys and right now its not coming true!

I can’t even tell you how much I loved this program. I can’t watch it enough. I thought I knew…but I had no idea! Thanks for being so candid and finally setting the record straight! Some of it was pretty sad…the struggles and all, but to have it all come full circle…it was meant to be! I especially loved the early footage and the footage from the start of the reunion. Thank you for sharing so much! It still seems so surreal to me that the New Kids are back…but I think when I see you in Dallas on October 19, things will become A LOT more real…Can’t wait to meet you all! Love always!!

I totally loved it. If it wasn’t for my girlfriend Shari, I would be up the wall. But I only missed half of it from 8:00 to 8:30p.m. but lucky from 8:30 to 9:00p.m. I finally watched it. YAY. It was cool watching them on VH-1. It was awesome finally watching the New Kids On The Block and seeing my 1st TRUE LOVE of 1988. Joe Mcintyre! Plus I even watched the BOSTON, MA LIVE too. Where they perform 3 songs. That actually give me GOOSE BUMPS. It denifenitly brought back memories for me. I’m now down to 2 days and tomorrow will be my last day of work for 8 hours. YAY! Than Thursday will be 4 hours for me than I’ll be on my way to Washington, D.C. to see you guys. Can’t wait. At the Verizon Center. My Friend at work is counting down for me. I think that VH1 did an excellent job with the special & showing the history.
I know that there were some things that were left on the cutting room floor and I’m happy for that

This show was awesome, I am glad that I was finally able to get somethings straight. I now have this recorded three times. I was not able to make it to the Sept 26th show as originally planned. The LIVE performance made it all better. I always have something to look foward to DETROIT OCT 25th. 5*VIP!

I watched the whole thing on the edge of my seat - and was very happy with the final outcome
And I have to say, even though I wasn’t in Boston and you guys couldn’t hear me - I squealed at the transition!!!
I really do love it
But I have to say - the highlight of the show for me was Jon with Maria, it was too cute! Well, that and the old footage, the old footage…

I was at the 9/26 concert and wanted to come to the one on 9/28 but my exchange student came on saturday! But at least I made it to the 9/26 one It was AWESOME by the way!!! Saw you guys in Boston last Friday night and it was nothing short of amazing. You sounded great, looked great… And best of all, you put on a show for your fans. I went with 3 gf’s and all 4 of us walked out of there feeling more than just satisfied that that concert was amazing — It was a wonderful feeling in our hearts and souls. We also watched the VH1 special on Sunday and again, we wanted to be right there cheering you guys on. This album is amazing and if there’s anyone who didn’t buy the Deluxe version… go out and get it!! Enjoy the rest of the tour guys!!

OK I was in Boston Sunday night and the show was beyond amazing, incredible, hot and mind-blowing… and as soon as we got back to Rita’s apt we watched the whole special including the concert footage that we had just experienced a few hrs earlier. Then when I got home to Ohio last night I watched it again. And again today lol but I’m glad that VH-1 is re-airing it for those who haven’t seen it yet. DON’T MISS THIS SPECIAL!!! The behind the music was so well done and the concert footage keeps blowing my mind.

Little man even forgot that certain people could be in it lol, he was just so excited to see everybody live(Ok, I let him believe that it was live for us west coasters too lol) that he forgot about his amazing summer day for a moment. I confessed that I cried, to me is just so touching to see footage of you guys so young, and how everything started. You guys/music helped through such a hard time, that I cannot help it but to be deeply touched when I see how everything got started. I was at work that night-I’m a nurse. Well, I was supposed to be passing out medications, but my patients understood because they were watching the special with me. On commercial breaks I would run down the hall to give meds to the ones who could be in the tv area where the rest of us were. The patients really enjoyed the special and a few of them even knew some of you guys’ songs. I was soooo happy to see the special and I hope they make it into a dvd for purchase! I can’t wait to see you guys in DC and in Charlotte. You are so gonna rock the house!

This is the first time since they got back together I saw them live.(The other live events they did I caught on the internet.) I was sitting on my couch crying, just like I did 18 years ago when I saw them in concert for the first time. Except this time my 2 year old daughter was wiping my tears. Thank you guys for making me feel 16 again. I can’t wait till Nov 11 in Kansas City.

I would love to watch this special but I can’t as I live in Australia. I have emailed vH1 in America to find out if we will be getting it over here but as yet I have not had a reply. So far everything that we have had on tv over here about you guys I have recorded. This would finish off my tape so I hope do eventually get it over here. I didnt miss it the first time around (I loved all the live cut-ins too) but I can tell you that I have rewatched it everytime it has been on and Ive been around my tv. The ending always makes me cry. Im so glad you guys are back. I cant wait to see you in Vegas and Houston.

I watched it and laughed and cried for 90 minutes! It took me right back to being a teen again and it was wonderful! I am going to see the guys this Friday in Cleveland and I cant wait! I’m going to the show by myself! I am so excited! I think that even though I’m 32, I will be freaking out just as I did when I was 13, 14 and 15 years old. I grew up in Southern California and my friends and I used to camp out at the BelAge Hotel in West Hollywood when they would stay there! I met them and it was so much fun! I even spent all my babysitting money from one summer to back a green silk Boston Celtics jacket! Well, 2 more days and I get to see them again! If you guys get into Cleveland early enough on Friday stop into The Metropolitan Cafe downtown, that’s where I work! Would love to see ya! I will be working during the day until 4, then Im outta there to get readu for the show!

I wrote a mail to MTV Germany today and ask them if they are planning to show the documentary. I think it would be wonderful especially for the younger viewers to learn something about music history. But do you think they are interested in showing it?? No!! They do show Boyzone and Backstreet Boys videos but no New Kids on the Block…

In 29 hour’s I’ll be seeing you LIVE in concert tomorrow night. Today is my last full 8 hours of working. Plus 4 hours tomorrow morning. Than I’ll be on my way to LUNCH before heading to Washington, D.C. for a couple of more hours until around 4:00 or 5:00p.m. for dinner. To pass the time. I’ll be getting a few things tomorrow night before SHOW TIME. I can’t wait to see my FACETIME with you guys. I’m so so excited that I swear I wanna SCREAM NOW. Your special was awesome! I’m so glad it was on and I was wishing it was a little longer! I’m glad I know what really happened with the break up! I was at one of your last shows in Buffalo where you told the audience that Jon had fallen off a horse and wasn’t able to perform!! It was still a great show but wasn’t the same without him. Anyway I saw you guys the second night in Toronto and you ROCKED!!!! I got the fever so bad that I scooped up tickets to the Philly show and I’m so ecstatic!!! I was so surprised at some that stuff! and the nynuk footage, who knew!!?? And how they didnt like playing in stadiums, wow, that shocked me! I went to the magic summer tour in oakland in sept 90 and man, they were an inch tall but i figured, eh, first concert, who cares!? but its true. i am so jazzed about this concert. watching all the youtube videos and just seeing them perform and laughing, its great. and why not? why shouldnt they have fun? they saw the attraction was still there, incredible music and producing, they’re all sexy as hell…what i get a kick out of is how donnie is all mr talkative again! sooooo hot! all of you! joe the matinee idol! boy-yoo-oing!

my question to nkotb is why is or does this have to be called the last chapter???????i mean think the nkotb fans are doing you guy’s justice to where we shouldnt be teased with a come back for you guys to turn around and leave us again.dont get me wrong im a fan alway’s have been alway’s will be this is just a question to think about is all.i understand why you guy’s left all of us the first time and i know most of you are married now with kids understandable im not talking about more tours im just talking about more recording and more music.you guys have giving your fans a taste of nkotb all grown up and to tease us like that and then walk away again would just be wrong.xoxxoojust something to think about love you guys jcgroy30

U 5 guys r something 2 b spoken about. Groups like urself n NE (not just bcuz u come from B-town) r extraordinary. U both were birthed from the same manager, branched out n succeeded in ur individual goals, made comebacks, n still remain phenomenal after 20yrs in the business. The BTM documentary puts 2 rest alot of negative things that were said about NKOTB during the height of ur fame.
The most important issue 2 me (African-American) is the mixed views on how NKOTB portrayed themselves. I don’t think anyone can act urban. U’r either urban or u’r not. It’s not defined by being caucasian, afro-american, asian, hispanic, or whatever. There is nothing wrong with some1 that isn’t of afro-american descent 2 speak slang, dress baggy, walk with a bop, have a soulful tone 2 their voice, or 2 favor some1 outside of their race. So now that we know that 4 of the 5 NK’s r NOT trying 2 mimic afro-americans, but in fact adopted the culture due 2 their upbringing n daily association with them. I hope the bs about NKOTB trying 2 b something they’re not is done 4 good. It’s unfortunate that they had 2 b bussed 2 another community, but it also benefited them, as they learned 2 embrace other nationalities and cultures.
Secondly, the bad girls luv the bad boy in Donnie, but I’m glad the hotel incident was clarified. Just as Donnie said, “the media has a way of taking ur words n twisting them,” n that continues 2 happen ’til this day. I only hope that they don’t have 2 face any bad press during their short return 2 the spotlight. In the infamous words of Biggie, “the more money, the more problems.”
If Maurice Starr did proclaim full credit 4 the success of NKOTB, not cool. The reunion will speak 4 itself. And, if he is trying to recreate the NK’s with the Heartbeats, not gonna happen. You can’t out shine what’s already flawless.
Just as the Beatles have their fan base ’til this day, the NK’s have the same. It’s about how u connect with ur fans, n obviously the connection is still there 14 yrs l8r. Ur music has passed down 2 generations. I have my 2 yr old singing along 2 ‘The Right Stuff’ n ‘Step by Step’, n she just learned ‘Single’.
I thk u 4 sharing the history of NKOTB. Thk u 4 opening ur hearts 2 ur plethora of fans that have idolized n adored u since the l8 80’s. Thk u 4 giving music another try. Thk u 4 being u!
Donnie - is n always have been my NK. There r no words for how sexy u r, n u could only imagine what many of us females would love 2 do to u. KTU didn’t get a chance 2 rel8 my response 2 the comment u made on VH1. YES! U do have a nice ass 4 a 39 yr old luv. If u back it up, I’ll gv it a test squeeze. LOL! Jordan - u were already handsome, n that has just got better with age. That smile n those lips…..yummy! N ur voice, plz…never ceases 2 amaze me. Joe - u got a cute quirkyness 2 u, n those piercing blue eyes r killing us. Jon - u need a bad girl 2 bring that shyness out of u cutie, but those eyez n that smile weakens the knees. When r we going 2 hear u sing lead on a song? Danny - ur deep, tantalizing voice….wheww!
Once again, thk u all 4 gracing us with ur music n presents. Donnie, real talk papa, u talk a lot about face-time, but my time doesn’t include just hugs n kisses. Ya feel me! Get at me sweetie…hahaha!

Anyone have any idea if this special will be put on DVD for purchase?? I need to add it to my huge collection of New Kids videos from the 90s!!!! I can record it off my DVR, but I’d rather have it on DVD. Any tips would be helpful!! THANKS!

The clips are on VH1’s website as well. I think all you have to do is type in the New Kids on the Block as the key word. It will pop up! PS: STILL don’t have a voice from LAST Friday (one week ago)’s show. That’s how AMAZING this concert was. I highly suggest anyone that was stupid enough NOT get tickets, get yo mind right, and buy some on craigslist or something. For serious.

I am a big fan and been since 1987/88.I might not have much stuff from you,but thats because of at time did not have the money for it.the few things that I have I hold dearly and still have it.And that includes ticket of my very first ticket from May 31st 1991.I was in England at the time as an Au-pair.It was a fantastic night that I never have forgotten
