All is surprisingly relaxed here backstage at the “Gahden”. Its the calm before the storm. The year has been ridiculously off the charts.
Its not fair to the rest of the world that has not been a part of this yet. And now we are home and we plan on having people talk about this concert for generations to come. Long live The Block! Long live the Bean!!!!

Your blogs are the best. Keep ‘em coming. Can’t believe we all get to watch you guys live from Boston on Sunday night! If only it was a whole PPV show like back in the day. Now THAT would be “ridiculously off the charts.”
But it will be anyway. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for a complete live tour DVD. Have fun at “The Gahden” (loved that billboard!), rock the house, and we’ll see you on TV this weekend and then in Detroit on October 25th! LOVE YOU!!!

As a Canadian fan that attended all three concerts in T.O. this past week, and pour my heart n’ soul into supporting NKOTB - I have to say that I wasn’t impressed with Joe’s comment below:
“Canada was a warm-up — a good place to get the kinks out. Our hometown is here, in the Northeast. These are the fans who help take the show to another level.”
- Joey McIntyre tells Rolling Stone, of the New Kids on the Block’ first reunion concert in the U.S. - in Jersey - earlier this week

September 26th, 2008 at 6:15 pm
I went to two of your concerts in Toronto and they surpassed all of my expectations! It was a tremendous honour to have you guys kick off your tour here! Best of luck tonight, I know it means a lot to you guys to perform in your hometown aka Beantown, The Cradle of Modern America, etc. I wish I was there to see you guys there! Go show’em that you guys still have the right stuff!
Just also wanted to mention that your new album is one of the best I have heard in awhile. I mean, all of the songs are so stellar that you don’t feel compelled to skip over any tracks. Don’t let the criticism of the so-called “critics” out there get to you; anyone who recognizes good music will appreciate it and most importantly, realize the effort put into it. Hope you guys will record some new music in the near future!
September 26th, 2008 at 6:17 pm
Hey guys, we will all have been a part of it before long! Cuz you have rocked the world, whether it be with the hot, off the charts, kickin album or live in concert or both! You always have a place in all of our hearts worldwide, since the 80’s and some things always stay the same!
We can’t wait to attend the live show in Los Angeles, Sacramento & San Jose!!!! The 3 shows in 3 days roadtrip is on baby! We haven’t done this in quite awhile, but we are eager and READY to see you all! Cant wait for the time of our lives! ~Lisa Marie in bay area (near SF, Cali)

I was at the concert in Boston tonight, 11th row on the floor! What an amazing show! Everything was perfect, from Colby to Natasha, and then of course all of you guys. When Paul Pierce brought out the trophy, that was so awesome! My husband (I had to drag him there) thought that was pretty cool, and he could not get over how loud it was. It was as if we stepped back in time and all the now 30-somthing fans were 13 again. We’ve all been though so much and accomplished so much since then, but it sure was great to remind us how life used to be! I wish I could go to every show! Keep it up…. BTW- I think I am still in love with Jordan! LOL
September 26th, 2008 at 10:57 pm
I just got back from your show a few hours ago and I want to say that it was the most amazing and surreal experience of my life! You guys are absolutely amazing and I am so blessed that I had the chance to see you guys in concert! I was 6 years old when I became a fan of you guys and I never thought I would get the chance to see you perform! Thank you so much for coming back…it seriously meant the world to me! I have never been more proud to be from Boston than I was tonight!!! Knowing that we all had Donnie speechless tonight was an incredible feeling…my life is seriously fulfilled after tonight! THANK YOU!!! I love you guys!!!

Saw the Boston show last night. Amazing, especially the production of the whole show. You guys rocked!! Two little disappoints: 1. I know that this show was emotional for you guys and you had tons of family and friends there for you, and you should take care of them. But, I was in Section B, row 2, seat 1 behind the guy that sits with Donnie at every Celtics’ game. I only know this because my husband has season tickets to the Celtics and we sit two rows behind him. And, never have I once asked for “face time” at the game, afterall you deserve to enjoy it. Last night, the aisle was pretty full and I was getting pushed forward past his seat. He literally pushed me aside and yelled, “Come on, get out of the way.” It totally wasn’t my fault and I was one who actually stayed in my seat (which was awesome by the way). 2. I figured that I would save my “face time” for the concert. So, a bunch of found Zach (accidentally actually) after the show and he totally blew us off. I know that he had to take care of your family and friends, and again he should, but it was such, such a disappoint to be completely dismissed. I wanted to be added to that millionth hug, but I guess not. Anyways, not to be a downer. The show was incredible and I’m happy for the memory. I’m going Sunday too and I guess that I’ll just have to try again:(

Hey Ya Joey,
Another fan from Down Under….I totally understand what ya mean about unfair to the rest of the world, it’s hard to be everywhere at once. And as much as I WANT to see ya’s perform again here in Oz, the blogs and videos on NKTV takes me to a place close to you guys…feels like I’m there partying big time with ya’s….Though to be physically apart of it would be the icing on the cake hehe…Enjoy performing at home, it’s only fair to start at HOME first…we can wait…

I just wanted to thank you guys for the tickets, I really appreciated it… but I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get another round of face time yesterday with Donnie… maybe I’m being greedy but I was looking forward to that.

So here’s the deal…I’m usually a VERY talkative person. My family refers to me as the “talking machine.” Your show last night left me 1.voiceless and 2. speechless. When people asked how it was, I could not the right words to describe it… and I still cannot! Thank you so much for the most unforgettable experience of my life! The show was WELL worth the plane ticket from Florida! I can’t wait to see you in the sunshine state!!!
Thanks for making my dream come true!
Love
Stefanie

Dear Joey,
I am real die hard New Kids fan, but after your first Amercian concert on your tour, and after not one, but 4 sold out shows here in Canada, you made a comment in an interview that has left not only a bad taste in my mouth, but in the mouthes of many of your Canadian fan base. Something to the effect that Canada was just a warm up, and that the American fans bring it to the next level. What does that mean? That we Canadians are not good enough, or that our money is no good? Um, I don’t think you should bite the hand that feeds you Hon. Check out this website and see some of the reponses us Canuks had to say, and make things right, I’m sure we’ll forgive you for sticking your foot in your in your mouth. http://hot899.com.

Hello Boston Boys,
How’s everything been for you all???? I know you have such a busy year. I’m so pleased that all the FANS who lives in Boston had such a BLAST last night & it’s back tomorrow night in your hometown. I know they need a break Monday and Wednesday that’s for sure. Plus they totally need it. I’m getting excited by every single minute of it and can’t stop thinking about it & it’s down to 5 days for me until I see them in Washington, D.C. Tomorrow makes 4 days. I know 1 thing my VOICE is gonna kill me from all the SCREAMING this Thursday. I’m gonna scream so so much that I want my VOICE to hurt. LOL! So I won’t have to talk for 2 days. LOL! Plus I heard and read that the Show for Verizon Center is SOLD OUT. I already knew that. I’m just blessed that my uncle gotten my (4) tickets to see you guys this Thursday. I’m so happy he gotten tickets for me in the lower section this time. I’ve gone to concerts but was in NOSE BLEED Section. But not this time. YAY! I’m also letting you know that I’m gonna be a LADY and there’s no way I’m throwing my BRA on Stage at you. I have more sense. LOL! Because I love you guys so so much that I respect you all so when I see you Thursday I’m not going to do that. I don’t know if anyone else will. But I won’t be. I was brought up right.
Joey, My 1st TRUE LOVE since 1988
If you’re reading this, I’ll be SCREAMING so much for you and watching every single move you make on that stage. I’ve waited so so long for you and the guys to return. My mom didn’t believe me at 1st when I told her but she did this time. And I gotten my wish. So let the party begin Thursday. YAY!
Greetings From Baltimore, MD
Your Biggest Fan Since 1988

Hi guys! If you read this, congrats on the start of what I know is going to be a wicked awesome tour! I can’t for my show in houston Oct.16, and I’m counting the days until then. In the meantime, I’m so happy you’re keeping so in the loop with things! You’ve been wonderful. Also, I can’t wait for the show tomorrow night on VH1 from the “Gahden”! Two historic things happening in that place in less than two years. First, the Celts incredible championship win at home, then you guys return victors as well at home. Conquering heroes indeed! Have a great rest of the tour, and I truly love you all-you’re the best. Be safe, and look forward to hearing from you on the road again soon. Bye!!!
Love Always,
Beth Wade, 36, from TN

JOE!!!
I was at IZOD on Tuesday and I can honestly say that was one of the best nights of my life. The Meet & Greet was amazing, I was front row for the show…you guys KILLED it. The concert is unbelievable, I’m so completely impressed with what you guys have put together, and how open and accessible you all are to all of us. The love there was tremendous. Can’t imagine what it was like in Boston last night.
See you in AC tonight!
September 27th, 2008 at 8:43 am
Hey Guys - This 33 year old woman felt 16 again last night. You guys brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. I seriously couldn’t have imgined the show being any more amazing than you made it! The energy and the love you put into the show last night made it emotional and SO MUCH FUN! Like all of you, the last 15 years of my life have brought ups and downs and to be reunited with my 5 high school boyfriends made me realize taking step by step and hangin tough is truly the only way you learn and grown and become a better person. Thank you for all you have given me. My love and devotion to NKOTB always. I only wish I could go to the show Sunday, too! xoxo

So it’s the morning after your Boston blowout and YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! I can’t belive that after all these years, you guys can still bring it. I looked around last night and saw a crowd of 30-somethings jumpng and screaming like 14 yr old girls (myself included) and I was blown away! I can honestly say that last night was the best concert I have ever been to. The energy was incredible and the fact that you all are so damn hot was an added bonus. I will be in Providence in November to see you all again! I’ll have to see how my husband feels about me being “single” for the night!
Danny - I am so sorry tp hear about your mother. My mother had breast cancer in ‘99 as well. While I am fortunate to still have my mother, my heart goes out to you and your family. I bought my tank top last night after the show and I’ll be wearing it to the concert in Providence RI.
September 27th, 2008 at 8:55 am
what an amazing might indeed it was; to have our boys back in Bean Town to represent. My ears are still ringing over 12 hours later. The show was dope, no real breaks/intermission. I just bought tickets for an upcoming show…you boys still got me hooked just like you did when I was a teenager…only I’m older and wiser now. I loved your hat Donnie, the Red Sox one with the diamonds. And man can Jordan still lock it. You guys look awesome; beautiful bodies for 5 beautiful men. It was hot. Opening acts were good too. I’m so smitten after all these years. I used to drive to your houses and wait to see you guys; met Danny with his Coke machine outside his house and went in and talked to Joe’s dad. It’s all so surreal for me. Looking forward to the next show although I KNOW nothing will even come close to last night; the boys back home for the the first time together again. Much love; keep up the good work and fight the good fight. Joey, “LET’S GET THIS”!!! That’s what I said when I thought about buying more tickets…I’m psyched; it’s gonna be dope! SLP in NH…Shot out to my twinny Trish…

Glad to see you are enjoying being back on your home turf!
and although I agree that the rest of the world hasn’t had a chance yet, we were a little hurt here in Canada with the comments that were made regarding Toronto being the place to work out all the kinks!
I think we were a pretty amazing audience, and gave all we could. And we simply want more!
I hope Rolling Stone took your words out of context, because there are a LOT Of fans hurt by the way your words were portrayed
Anyway, wishing you all the best…..I hope both concerts in Boston, are as amazing as all 3 in Toronto
And we will see you out West in November in Calgary!

So… it’s after the fact now.. How was your first night in your beloved Boston?
I’m anxious to hear your thoughts of how things are going..!
I would’ve just… loved, more than almost anything, to be at one of your Boston shows. To see the 5 of you at HOME, after all this time… would’ve been incredible. I can’t imagine how it must feel for you guys to be there again, together.. after the emotion that ran through the Air Canada Centre on Thursday and again on Sunday.. I can only TRY to imagine how thick the air at the Garden must’ve been with excitement and love and gratitude, from all directions!
Just remember.. you all are so loved, no matter where you go.
And Toronto wants you back!! We’re on a mission!
(For the record, the Rolling Stone quote really doesn’t bother me.. out of context or not! But, you know, if we were warm-up.. I think it’s only right that we’re your place to cool down too!
Think about it? Please? We miss you more than words can express..!)
Lots of love!

Hope you had a blast playing your hometown!! I saw you guys at the Izod Center on Tuesday (Sept 23rd) with three of my friends and it was the best concert we’ve ever been to. I saw you at the Delaware State Fair back in either Summer of 89 or 90 (not sure). This show was definitely hands down better by a mile. My friends are seeing you at the Borgata tonight and Wachovia Center (Philly) in November and I told them they’re in for an amazing show!! I am so glad you’re back and better than ever!! Have a great time touring this great country and seeing all of us fans that have always hoped for a reunion!
September 27th, 2008 at 10:12 am
I was at your show last night and I want to say that it was the most amazing and surreal experience of my life! You guys are absolutely amazing and I am so blessed that I had the chance to see you guys in concert! I was 6 years old when I became a fan of you guys and I never thought I would get the chance to see you perform! Thank you so much for coming back…it seriously meant the world to me! I have never been more proud to be from BOSTON than I was tonight and I’m so happy that I was there for your homecoming. Knowing that we all had Donnie speechless last night was an incredible feeling…my life is seriously fulfilled after that show! THANK YOU!!! I love you guys!!!
and I just wanted to say that I’ve been a fan since 1989

Last night was my first NKOTB show and it was a dream come true for this poor girl from rural Maine whose family couldn’t afford tickets to your Old Orchard Beach show back in 19-whenever-that-was! All my friends back then had all your gear, but I cherished the free fan club pack that I sent away for, and the hand-me-down button I got from a friend - it was one of my prized possessions! I’ve been keeping the faith for the last 15 years.
I took my best friend to see you last night for a very special birthday, but as the date drew closer, I found myself reliving that delicious pre-teen angst. The energy last night was through the roof! I was so excited and screamed so hard I almost passed out a few times, and your performance was everything I hoped for. I will never, ever forget this experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for offering yourselves to your loyal fans once more.
Finally, while it is true that “It’s too late Jordan, I’m married now,” I appreciate the nod more than you know and I’ll be loving you forever!

My younger sister and I can’t wait. We’re driving to Chicago from Cincinnati to see you on October 24th! I was so jealous when my older sister saw you guys at Timberwolf at Kings Island here in Cincy.I finally got to see you at your next concert here and wasn’t able to get tickets to Riverfront Stadium. I love you guys and now my seven year old daughter loves you too. Her favorites are Step By Step and Single. The only thing that would complete my preteen/teenage dreams would be to meet you face to face and being one of those million hugs (for all of you!). But seeing you from Section 2 row 20 seats 11 and 12, will just have to do. I will admit that the only other shows I’ve paid this much money to see were Cirque Du Soleil in Vegas. You are the only group worth paying and traveling to see on such a tight budget. I’m thrilled that you are back, can’t wait until the re-release of your Christmas album, think that The Block is by far the best so far and looking forward to more from all of you. Never give up on your dreams, giving up on dreams is giving up on life. Thank you for giving me such a great childhood and now for reminding of what I wanted out of life back then.
Looking forward to NKOTB in Chicago- Lucy
P.S. Wish I could have seen Joe in Wicked!
September 27th, 2008 at 12:12 pm
wow watching all of you last night was amazing. I dont think I have ever been more excited for a concert and you all delivered 150%!!! The new album is great and the past ones NEVER get old. I sing them to my 6yr old daughter now and she thinks im crazy lol. All of you made such an impact on me when i was younger and NKOTB will always be the FIRST and BEST group for me. With Love- TB

Yes, it’s very unfair to the people in the Capital District of NY!!! Any chance you guys will swing through the Albany area? You have got a TON of fans here who would love to see you!
Thank God for NKTV and You Tube…..it’s the only way we can see pieces of your shows and yet I still have a blast watching the footage. Have a great time in Boston….enjoy every moment, because we sure are!
Oh, and Joe…the dance routine you do for “Twisted”? HOT….HOT….LOVE IT! Dancing with the Stars has got nothing on you!
Take care and soak up your time in Boston!!

I hope u r reading this. I just want to let you guys know that your music past and present means so much to me. I would not be who I am today without you guys back then. I unfortunately can not afford VIP tix, but want to thank you all in person so much for everything you’ve done for me. I will not get spacific here cause it gets sad, but I was in a bad place and listening to the nusic helped keep me away from all the bad things you get tempted and pressured to do and it helped me forget about all that jusnk for a while. If there is anyway I could get passes to meet you that would be so amazing. I love you guys, your music speaks to my soul!
Lots of love to all of you,

I was at the show in East Rutherford, NJ, Sept. 23rd. with my sister and friends. It was amazing, even in the 200 section.
I’ve been waiting for this comeback for YEARS, as many were, I’m sure. New Kids were my first show at 7 years old, in philly for the Xmas tour.
Their new album makes my day, everyday.
All 6 of us are going back for the show in Philly…and this time we have floor seats, up close. We are all so excited and happy that the New Kids have brought us the same joy we had listening to them as kids! So stoked for the next show!
Can’t wait to see them up close!
Thanks to all the New Kids for making it magical. It was worth the wait! Congrats!!!

Best concert ever- I totally acted like I was 14 & broke loose! I’m a mom now & it’s not usually something I would do, but this concert was so full of energy & nostalgic memories for me that I just couldn’t help it
Thank you for bringing me back to the days where life was a lot more care free & stressless- when my “boyfriends” came from the pages of a magazine & my biggest decision was which one was my “favorite”! You guys were FABULOUS & I had a blast

You guys rocked the house Friday night! I had a really awesome time and after 15 years, it certainly was a memorable night being able to see you in concert finally!! I was 12 at the time when NKOTB were just getting big and was never able to go to any concerts because I was too young. Thank you very much for all that you do and making my dreams come true.
I love you all! Keep kicking butt and to Jordan, you have always been my favorite and when you sang “Baby I believe in you” I nearly could keep it together…wow!! You are incredibly sexy!!!!
September 28th, 2008 at 1:23 am
Awww, that is a really sweet thing to say, it is so true with great anticipation, excitement and for some anxiety waiting to see if we will get to see one of your performances, and the looong wait if we are already booked further down the tour line!
Thank you for posting, we luv it because it just reminds us how much we are valued as fans and true supporters, and we just know if you could cram us all in one big stadium at once and give the performance of a lifetime (perhaps not with the elevated noise levels or millions at your tour bus etc. part), you would…
And it reminds us, no emphasises some of the very things that make you guys so special in hearts and minds across the globe…
Indeed, may the Bean live long

The show was amazing! thank you for making a life long dream come true! I am still trying to recover from the night, I missed the last train back to Alewife hoping for some “facetime” with Donnie!
I am so sad to say that all I got was a “Hi” from Danny (not that that is bad, just really wanted to see Donnie!) and a hug from Zach! Zach, you were supposed to hook me up, not hug me! so I am extremely depressed that I got stuck in Beantown with out so much as a glance at Donnie.
to all of you that haven’t had the chance to see them yet, hang on and hold on to your hats! the energy in the place is mind blowing, you will be taking a rollercoaster ride of emotion while you are there, the opening of the show had me in tears not able to believe I was really there, I am still waiting to wake up and find out it was all a dream. I can die a happy person now that I had the chance to see them again!
hoping for another show in Boston, 12/31/08? I first saw them on 12/31/89 at the Worcester Cetrum, now that would really be a full circle to see them on the same day twice in a lifetime! please make it happen Donnie, and I’ll be expecting my hug next time!
loving you forever, even with a broken hert!

I really hope Jon is feeling better. I can’t believe his incredible performance even when he wasn’t feeling well. That shows incredible dedication.
The whole night was really a dream come true! I was lucky enough to be at the meet and greet. I got to meet Danny, Joe and Donnie. I missed out on Jordan and Jon.
I wish that wasn’t so CRAZY and rushed, but I am still very grateful for it. Everything about this reunion and the tour is phenomenal. I am grateful to be a part of it!
Good luck tonight with VH1 live at your show!
Love You Guys! Take care of yourselves! I hope I get to see you all again soon!

Hey Joey, just read your comment to Rolling Stone magazine. Thanks for showing us your true colors!
“Canada was a warm-up — a good place to get the kinks out. Our hometown is here, in the Northeast. These are the fans who help take the show to another level.”
I’m sure Boston is gonna be great for you guys–and good for you, but I have never been so disappointed with you as I am right now. If Canada was such a warm-up, then why did you have 4 shows there? and why didn’t we get a discount on tickets if we were getting a “warm-up” show? When I knew you were coming to Toronto, my friend and I immediately bought tickets to your shows to fulfill our dreams. We along with everyone else screamed our heads off and even watched as Donnie “cried” while the fans stopped you guys from singing your next song numerous times. After your shows, we loved them so much that we decided to drive to Detroit to see you one last time as you aren’t coming back to Toronto, Canada. We wanted to get the best tickets possible that we could afford, so we got front row around your stage B just to live out our dream for 1/2 an hour, watching you from far away for the rest. Now that I’ve read your comments, I am disgusted. Does this mean that since I’m coming to Detroit, now I’m going to see the real show? Thanks for the appreciation–now Canada knows how you feel about us.
-disappointed fan

My darling New Kids! I saw you guys on Friday night in Boston and the show was awesome!!! My husband bought the tickets for our anniversary, because if it wasn’t for you guys my husband and I would have never met. I’m from a small Lapland town 80 miles north of the Arctic Circle in Finland. I came to the U.S as an exchange student in 1993 and the reason I chose America over Australia (where I even have some relatives) was because I was SOOO in LOVE with you Jordan Knight that in my teenage mind I was certain I was going to marry you. So, I even paid a “guarantee” to be placed in Massachusetts or Rhode Island during my exchange student year, because I knew I would be close to you… Well, I never even got to go to one concert let alone meet you during my exchange student year, but I met my wonderful husband who is from Rhode Island. We just celebrated our 12th year of marriage and the concert tickets to your show were the best gift ever! My husband and two daughters thank you dearly! My husband and I would love to meet you guys and thank you in person. Honestly, my happy little family would not be here if it wasn’t for you!
Thank you!

September 28th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
I really would like for you guys to come to PR for tour!!!
September 28th, 2008 at 6:50 pm
Hey there! I just finished watching the VH1 special. It’s so weird, I am a 36 year old (yikes) mom of 2, and watching that special, and seeing you perform, I felt that familiar squishy feeling that only a 15 year old girl can feel, and it was awesome…thank you!
All these memories came up that I hadn’t thought about in so long…I remember being 16 and going to Disneyworld, and this group of girls came up to me and started asking me if I knew Joey…apparently, because I had a Red Sox hat on and because they had heard me order a “hamburgah”, they thought I knew at least one of you. I briefly considered sayng that I knew Donnie, because in my head I had always pretened that he was my future husband, but I thought better of it. They REEEEEALLY wanted something, so I said that I knew someone who knew someone who knew your drummer….(there was a rumor flying around our high school that a drummer on your tour went to a rival school of ours, but I think it was just a rumor….) and holy crap they almost cried. I can only imagine what it was like for you all.
What got me the most, that surprised me, was at the end of the special, how proud I felt of you guys…it was like seeing friends you hadn’t seen in a really long time, and seeing that they are happy, successful, and doing well. I wish you all the best!

I really WISH I could be there! I have always wanted to go to Boston. But I am still hoping that I will be apart of your Las Vegas show. Can’t wait to read and hear all about Boston!

I was at the Friday night Boston Garden Show 11th row from the stage. You all look and sound better than you did 15 years ago. Thank you for the memories you brought back. Thank you for the escape from this crazy world even though it was just a few hours. Jordan, my husband saw you at Cybex Intl in Medway a few months ago getting fitness equiptment… now I see why.

Oh man!! I just watched you guys on VH1!!! It was so great to see you guys in all your glory! You guys were on point in every moment! I wish I could see you guys when you come to Houston, Tx. Unfortunately, with Hurricane Ike hitting us the way it did, and us having to be out of lights for so long… it is not in my future now to be able to see you guys or surprise my BFF of years with tickets to see you guys… it was my plan to take her ever since you guys announced it many months ago. But recently, all my funds have gone to surviving the storm. I thank GOD my family and loved ones are all well and healthy.
As for my BFF and I, we have been fans since we were in 2nd or 3rd grade! But now, it is not in the cards for us. But I did want to wish you guys all the best! I know you guys will rock the house anywhere you go! I am so happy that you guys are back together. Hopefully you do a 2nd tour sometime and I will be able to take my BFF then. God Bless you all!!! and a big hug and kiss from both of us to ALL of you! (especially Jordan from me and Danny from my BFF!!!) WE ♥ U guys!!!
Hoping 2 see u 1 day,
Skorp1on and her BFF

It was amazing to see you guys back at home!!! The show was absolutely incredible! I have to say that I felt like a 12 year old girl again :o) No matter how long it has been…it goes without saying that Boston will always love you! Let’s hope this isn’t the last time we’ll be seeing you! Lots of love and luck to you all <3 Amanda XOXOXOXO
P.S Thank you for letting us all remember what it was like to be completely insane, screaming teenybopper girls again…I haven’t felt that type of innocent excitement for quite some time!!!
September 28th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
I am so excited after seeing the VH1 special for your Concert in Sunrise florida The bank alantic center …I am just hoping that I can still get in since I had a little problem with my tickets … ( accidently misplacing them ) thank god for Credit cards and ticket master though …. I want November 1st to come tomorrow …..
September 28th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
Joe! The whole thing was perfect!!! I seriously need to get myself together before Oct 24th so I don’t have a meltdown in the audience! Thank you guys so much for sharing that show with us tonight!!
September 28th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Oh my good golly miss molly! Sorry…sooooo much more I’d like to say but I don’t want to get kicked out off the blog. If my reaction to the VH1 special is any indication of my reaction to seeing you guys for the first time then look out! I had my kids cracking up laughing because I was going absolutely insane. I think I died a little when Donnie did his thing in Single….oh man….think I melted into my couch a little. I so can’t wait until Friday’s concert in Cleveland…can’t wait to see you all!!!!
September 28th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
I just finished watching the VH1 Behind the scene w/ my 7 yr. old daughter. She happens to be a big fan of Donnie W. As for me I am a fan of Joe. We enjoyed the show. I saw the group perform out in Long Island, NY this past Sept. 25 and plan to take my daughter to see you guys at MSG on Oct. 27. She is so excited. She loves you guys more than the Jonas Bros. =o)
September 28th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
Hey Guys,
Well, you’ve made me cave. I have officially bought my ticket. I am traveling to see the show. I swore I was going to wait and see if you were going to set a date for Winnipeg, but that has not happened as of yet. So I have bypassed all the best judgment of my best friend and my family and I’m heading to Calgary. I couldn’t help it. I’ll kick myself later if I don’t make the effort to come to you. So, get your mind right gentlemen, cause here I come!
See ya backstage in Calgary.
Your Crazy Winnipeg Fan LOL
I look forward to November 19th
Sincerely
-Darcie-Lynn

The boston show was so amazing!!! I was so happy to be apart of that new begining for you gusy. You did not stop for one minute and for all the fans that meant the world. OMy advice to anyone who is thinking about going to the show or has tickets for upcoming shows, our boys did not let me down. A few years ago VH1 found all of you guys and tried to get you together to do a one time show. I am so glad you guys turned them down and waited until now. Its the right time for you and for us all!!! Thank you so much for bringing me back to a really good time in my life!!! Love you all!!
September 28th, 2008 at 8:39 pm

September 28th, 2008 at 10:25 pm
Oh my god. It was so good to see you guys back on stage. Joey I love you. You looked soo HOT. I can’t wait to see more.
September 28th, 2008 at 10:25 pm
Words can’t express how I a’ve been feeling since April 4, 2008. Just as Danny said “it’s like you guys never left.” It’s crazy right now. This year got that much better for me once I heard NKOTB REUNIOn. I’m one of them that never gave up hope, and that ’s why your fan base is still off the chain. I only wish you guys would have 2 more shows here in NY at the Garden or Nassau Colliseum. You have more tour dates internationally than you do in the U.S. Well keep doing ya thang guys! NKOTB got all the ladies on lock right now. Donnie I hope you get All your face-time. I hoping we will get a chance to have our face-time and more. Loving you guys.

September 28th, 2008 at 10:28 pm
I am sure that I speak for all pre-existing NKOTB fans when I say that this past year has been like re-uniting with a long lost BFF.
I had no idea what was going on because I was on a tour in Iraq so, when I got home in June my old friends from the Aqua Net days were there waiting for me. What a wonderful and refreshing surprise! I have loved following you guys and what you have been up to. You make me feel stronger and more confident as I get ready to go to college for the first time at age (almost) 32. I still have my NKOTB posters that lined my bedroom walls, the sheets, the buttons, the night shirt… what a crazy bunch of years!
Anyway, I have been through a lot in the past 15 years since your absence and in a funny way it feels like all is again right with the world. It almost feels like I am 14 again and ready to take on the world! Thank you!
Joey, you were always my favorite (for so many reasons) and seeing you now, holding on to the same values and qualities that you had back then, makes me love you even more.
Of course I love the rest of you too! Donnie, you are the sweet, “bad” boy that every girl dreams will sweep her off her feet and take her on a wild adventure. Jon, you are the one that comes to mind when the girls think “perfect, ideal, intelligent, sweet, charming, husband and father.” Danny, you are the strong romantic; the one with all the right moves. Jordan…what can I say? One balad from those lips and any girl is putty in your hands. Last but not least there is Joe. You are the definition of “romance”, “chivalry” and “true gentleman”. You have the power to sweep any girl off her feet with just one look from those baby blues.
I would love to get in on some face time!
Please come to Minnesota! Much love to you and yours! xoxoxxo
September 28th, 2008 at 10:44 pm
I’m so far away from you guys i don’t know if the show is over but i know one thig for sure, YOU WERE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU ARE MAKING HISTORY AND YOU MUST BE SO PROUD WHAT YOU’RE ACHIEVING–
you’ re making me feel like i were 18 years again and i’m so happy about it!!
thank you God for this gift……….i’ll always remember my 36th bd!!!!!!
as the year NKOTB CAME BACK.

Yeah, so I should have checked your tour schedule BEFORE leaving a comment. Duh. I am happy to see that you will be coming to MN and I will be attending with my fellow Blockhead. We went to our first concert (it was you guys of course) together and now it has come full circle. I can’t wait to see you guys! Donnie, I have your hug (or as many as you would like)waiting! Joe, well, since you are happily married I will not throw myself at your feet like I had planned before… well, maybe just a small stumble. We’ll see.
September 28th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
Went to the concert Friday night. Honestly, one of the most fun nights of my life! Went with a group of friends from childhood. We are all still glowing from the fun of it all! We all wished we had tickets to Sunday night’s show. Words can’t really explain — you had to be there. It was amazing!
PLEASE COME BACK TO BOSTON!!!!!!!
Seriously, two shows is not enough. Play the Gahden for like a week, please!

Well, it’s time for me to get a little sappy… Seeing the show on VH1 tonight (well, technically last night your time) made me cry. Not bad tears at all, but GOOD tears. Seeing the 5 of you together again and so happy is something that all of us fans have wanted for years. You aren’t doing this for money (although I’m sure that’s a plus), but because you WANT to and that means a lot. When Donnie almost lost it, I lost it. You can tell that this is something that means a lot to each and every one of you - and that’s awesome. To see Jonathan excited makes me excited (get your mind out of the gutters… haha) for him! You guys are amazing and I’ve never been a part of something (as in being a fan for so long) so awesome. I’ve never seen such supportive fans and it’s great to see. Thank you guys again for everything! It means SO much!
- Mary, proud fan since 1988
See you in November in Seattle!

September 28th, 2008 at 11:33 pm
I was taken totally by surprise watching the VH1 Special. I was enjoying it very much & then it got to the part right after Donnie said only music would help with his feelings & they showed them recording & suddenly I started crying. I don’t even know what it was. I couldn’t stop either for about 10 min on & off…REALLY CRYING. I guess it hit me just how much this reunion means to me & the guys. I am so happy they did this for all of us…THEMSELVES & US. My shows start Saturday, Oct 4th in Chicago with 4 in all. Now I’m worried I’m going to burst out crying. That’s not like me. I’ve been to 4 NK shows, one Joe, & well over 20 Jordan & was always happy, dancing & singing along…I’m not a screamer…& always calm meeting them . Now I’m afraid I’m going to be a basket case esp with my Meet & Greet. Oh well. It just shows how much everything has & does mean to me. I LOVE YOU ALL… MY FELLOW FANS, & of course, JORDAN, DANNY, DONNIE, JON, & JOE !!!! You’ll always be in my heart, Gail

Oh… Yall were awesome! I can’t wait for the concert on Oct 17th, in San Antonio!!! Its going to be my first one! I wanted to go before, but I was too young to drive, and my parents wouldn’t take me. September 29th, 2008 at 12:08 am
I just saw you guys at TD Banknorth Garden and you were great! It was my first official concert of my life. Except for seeing Celine Dion in Vegas, but that wasn’t where i could stand up and yell. I had soooooooooooo much fun tonight. I went with my friend, who had busted her knee at playing basketball on sat. She thought she could make it thru the whole concert but she couldn’t cause of the pain that her knee was in. Im sure the special on VH1 was good but it probably wasn’t as much fun as actually being at the concert. Anyways, we had to leave early b4 the concert got over and i didn’t even get to buy any souveneirs (or however you spell that). We left after the Forever song I think. Even though we were on the floor we had to leave because my friend was on crutches. You guys were awesome!!!!!! Im going to order things from ur store online. I have liked you since i was around 10 or 11 or 12 years old. Im now 27. Boston loves you NKOTB
September 29th, 2008 at 12:14 am

September 29th, 2008 at 12:56 am
I went to BOTH Boston shows and its hard to put my feelings into words. Listening to Jordan sing “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind” took me back to Meadowlands Arena, East Rutherford, NJ, Monday, Nov. 13, 1989 (my first of many NKOTB shows). WHAT?! I was 15 yrs old - that’s when the love affair began. It seems like yesterday. Today I’m 34 and married but I still get butterfiles when Jordan sings that song. How does one explain that?!?!
After 15 long years, this weekend was like catching up with old friends. I never thought it would happen but I’m glad it did. What a dream come true to meet Joey and Jon tonight after the show. Kisses, pictures and autographs? I’m on cloud 9!!! Thank you for being so gracious although you were tired.
I am so happy for you all - I bet you never imagined your fans would be right here where you left them still loyal after all this time. Its truly a beautiful thing. I could see the appreciation on your faces. Thank you for bringing us back to a time where the possibilities were endless and the future was bright. Your music is part of the soundtrack of my life. We are part of each other. We got a love thing going on that transcends space, time, and understanding. You don’t know me but we’re family. I know you understand.
Welcome home. Now go out and remind the world where you’re from. Rock your “B” hats and Celts jerseys and rep the greatest city on the planet! LET’S GET THIS, BABY!!! DOT and the Bury STILL KICKIN’ ASS! Hate on, haters! We are so proud of you. You are our sons, our brothers. We love you. Jordan, Donnie and Dannie: see you in Providence. You owe me a kiss. Long live NKOTB!
Erika (certified #1 NKOTB fan and original DOT Rat baby, baybah!)

You know my family and I had a concert of our own when you were on. It was as if we were there. We were all dacing and more. I was the first fan and now gave you guys six more! We were all thrilled and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for makin it live. Great preformance, as always!
Well, the third time is a charm. I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you had a great time last night, I live in Canada and did everything I could to see you on VH1, even tried to get my cable company to pick it up on one of their pay per view channels…no luck:(
I love you still Joey, but must say there a many sad girls here in Canada after what you said last week about us being a warm up place:( I know you couldn’t have meant that, the show in Montreal rocked, it wasn’t a warm up at all….we loved that show, every single person at the Bell Centre was loosing their minds over you guys….please make it right!! We’ve even started a petition to have you call into the radio station in Ottawa (Hot 89.9) and clear things up. The same readio station that on September 20th filled a bus with screaming girls and drove us down to Montreal to see you guys!! Ottawa loves you, Canada loves you…..please, we’re begging you to make it right:)
Love you always and forever,
Linz
Long live the Block in CANADA

Hi guys! I heard from my friend who was at your show this past Friday. She said it was off the hook! Her pictures are great! She has one of you (Donnie) giving her a kiss from behind. I wish I could have been there, I was unable to afford to go to Boston. When are you going to come to Maine???? I’d love to see you all in concert. Hope you have a great tour!
I’ll definitely be loving you forever! ! ! !

Can’t wait- my sister and I are driving from Cincinnati to Chicago for your October 24th show at the arena!!! Long live NKOTB!!! I’m so pumped for this concert! Wish you guys were coming to Cincinnati too, I know so many people that would see you guys! I know so many that are going to the Chicago and the Cleveland show now, let alone if you were coming to Cincy. My sisters and I are such huge fans that we owned a copy of your first album (when they wre hard to come by, before downloading MP3’s exsisted) and at one of your concerts here in Cincinnati, you were singing one of the songs and we were the only ones around us that knew the words! Back then I wished, and still do, that I could play the piano like Jordan! I tried but you guys are blessed with such terrific talent! I also wished I could have seen Joe in Wicked (I’m a huge broadway fan too! I even thought about majoring in theatre!). One of my biggest dreams when I was younger was meeting you guys in person but I’ll have to settle with floor seats at the arena because I just don’t know how to get face time! URGH! Maybe we can become penpals!? Just kidding. I know you guys are busy and its totally benefiting all of us Blockheads!!! But maybe, just in case- tranlucynguyen@yahoo.com is the address!
-Love you guys can’t wait for the greatest concert ever!!!
-Lucy
P.S. My 7 year old daughter loves you guys too! Her favorites are Step by Step, Single, and Summertime!

Hey guys, I hope you see this.
I saw you in AC on the 28th and I just can not thank you enough for such a wonderful concert. If I die tomorrow, my life is complete!!!! You all look absolutely amazing, and sound even better. Because this concert was smaller and so much more intimate it was so nice to see your faces light up at our screams!!!And I know you could see ours!!! You hear this from all of your fans but you guys are truly loved!!! My son’s favorite song before THe BLock was Step by Step, now it’s BIg Girl and he is only 6. He can’t sing that around school, LOL!!! He wanted to go to the concert with me but I told him that I would tell Donnie HI and he misses you!!!
I hope to see you again!!! Love you guys!!!

Good Morning! I saw the VH1 special last night and I thought that all of you did an outstanding job to show us your fan’s what hard work and hardship’s that all of you had to overcome to become the #1 group of all time! I am so happy that everything has come together for all of you and I cannot wait until November in Providence. I hope that Jonathan is feeling better and resting and taking care of himself. I have one question if possible: When Jonathan is feeling better can he please send us a blog to let us know that everything is going o.k. if possible, I know that it’s a very hard to get some time to just even breathe or to relax but he has alot of fan’s who really care about him. Thank You, Dina.My email address is dinapc@cox.net.

OMG you guys!! this weekend has been totally insane!!! on some random crazy run in with fate, friends cancelled plans with us to attend the Dewey Beach Music Conference in Delaware! We had planned on staying in Ocean City, MD and though we kept joking that if they cancelled we had no reason NOT to see y’all at the Borgata for our 1st NKOTB concert EVER!! and then it happened and so we went and HAD A BLAST!!!!! Missed seeing y’all the roulette table twice but seeing y’all so close for the show was amazing!! joe, that fog machine joke was hilarious! im glad it didn’t affect your singing:) Jon, I heard the night before you were feeling ill so i’d brought Halls(w vit.C) and Ricolla in case i ran into you but you looked awesome on stage, so you prolly didn’t need em! Love you and see you in DC, NY, PA, RI, NJ, and CT:) Donnie u were AWESOME, loved the guitar intro to cover girl! Danny, you still got the moves man..that was HOT! and Jordan…dear dear Jordan…BIBIY?!?! that is now my Harlequin novel scene come true!!!
OF COURSE we had to rush home to Baltimore in time for the VH1 special(even though we got back to OC bout 6am) and arrived at 750pm, jumped out of the car with a VHS in our hand and started to record!! it was really cool to see the full story of your past and the preparation to the craziness that is now(even though the truth to the break up was too too hard to watch)…both lynn and i had girls from the nkotb community updating each other via txt msg during the whole thing…and seeing the intro to the concert again after seeing it live the day before??? craziness…the coolest thing of all(and this really gets me) my older brother, my nemesis during the 80’s and 90’s due to his dislike for y’all sat and watched with us(and our nkotb paraphenilia..sp)…and liked it!! THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!!

I attended the Boston show on the 26th and it was nothing short of spectacular! It was worth the trip!!!! It was also wonderful meeting all of you at the meet and greet. You are all genuinely, wonderful, nice guys. I waited 20 years to finally meet you all and I know I will remember it always. See you guys in Charlotte!
Love always,
Erin
(Jonathan, hope you are feeling better.)

WOW!!!!! What a performance! I was at your show on Friday at the Gahden and I’m still in shock. I dont want to give too much away to all of your fans but the concert was sick!!! When Paul Pierce came out with the trophy at the end…WHAT???!!! Joey came out in his old school leather jacket with the smiley on the back….WHAT???!!! Donnie got chocked up talking to the crowd….WHAT??!!! I will never forget it. I came to the show sick with the flu (I know…poor Stacy) so i have now officially lost my voice. Totally worth it! In fact I might not have to worry about forgeting since I am planning on coming to the Providence concert in November. Id also like to add that your album (The Block….now in stores :)!)is extremely impressive. Its not often that anyone buys an album with out skiping over at least one song. I love them all. It shows that your guys put alot of thought into it. Not to mention the producers and celebs you had added to it.
I could go on forever about my experience on Friday but again I dont want to give to much away or bore your anymore ;). I always hoped that all of you would get back together and I always thought that you would. Talent shouldnt be waisted!
I wish you all the best of luck with the rest of your tour dates and I hope to cross paths with you again someday.
Take Care,
Stacy

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!! You are all amazing!!! I went to both shows in Boston this weekend and I was knocked off my feet!! You ALL did so good! Danny was awesome with his breakdancing, Jonathan looked wonderful and did an awesome job, Joey still kicks ass when singing Please Don’t Girl (and everything else), Jordan AMAZING and Donnie, Damn boy……you are finer then ever!!!!!! I was most impressed with Jon though, he has gone through a lot and I give him lots of props for getting up there and doing so well! I know what it is like to have major anxiety!! God bless all of you!!! Please do not let this be the end!!!!!!!!!!

Um…Joe…what is this suppose to mean? “Canada was a warm-up — a good place to get the kinks out. Our hometown is here, in the Northeast. These are the fans who help take the show to another level.”
- Joey McIntyre tells Rolling Stone, of the New Kids on the Block’ first reunion concert in the U.S. - in Jersey - earlier this week
Not cool…

Saw your show last night in Boston, it was amazing. I am going to get tickets for your show in RI too. I saw you when I was 9 and I was soo excited that you were finally coming back but the concert surpassed my expectations. I knew you would be awesome but I had no idea that you would surpass the memories of my first time seeing you. It was better than ever. I love you guys. Great show!!! I hope you stick around for a long time.

I went to the Boston show last night and it was AMAZING!!! It exceded all of my expectations. I am 33 years old and screamed like I was 13 again. I can not even tell you how outrageous it was to see thousands of woman (and men) screaming 10x louder than it sounds in there during a Celtics game. SO GREAT! I hope you boys are having fun. This is amazing for us fans, but I hope you guys are loving your reunion as old friends and enjoying this experience together! You look great and sound great. You do Boston PROUD! HAVE FUN!
September 29th, 2008 at 8:58 am

Friday night was my first NKOTB show and it was a dream come true for this poor girl from rural Maine whose family couldn’t afford tickets to your Old Orchard Beach show back in 19-whenever-that-was!

Boston on Friday was just a friekin incredible concert! Brought me back…felt like I was 13 again. Anyways–Congrats on a truly wonderful show!

Hi everyone this is Candice from Portland,Oregon. And even though the men arnt comeing to my hometown doesnt mean we love them any less. Donnie has always been my favorite. Kinda a rebel, but with a certain edge and swagger. We have alot in common and come from similiar backgrounds. I dont usually do this kinda of thing, but when you come to P-town look me up. See ya soon..
September 29th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
I went to the 09/28/08 at the Boston Garden.. What a show, I waited 19 years to see you and it was well worth the wait. Thank you for the memories..
September 29th, 2008 at 3:59 pm
I went to the show last night at the Garden. It had been 17 years since my last show in Shreveport, LA in 1991. I was amazed at the show itself and how instantly I felt transported back to the early ’90s! The songs and the screaming was just like I remembered! I had a fabulous time! The show was wonderful and I am so glad that I got to see it in the Kids’ hometown! Thanks for the music and the memories!
September 29th, 2008 at 4:31 pm
It’s funny, as I was watching the Vh1 special last night, I was reliving the concert from Friday night at the “Gahden”; which simply was dope. I hope this time around ALL you guys get to hear (and thoroughly enjoy) us ladies screaming our heads off. I noticed your schedule is so whacky…here and there; make sure you guys get plenty of rest and don’t get sick. Although I feel like I’m that 13 year old girl screaming my head off all over again, the dynamics for all have changed greatly. Here’s to much success and hopefully “More Blocks”…perhaps a title for the NEXT album! Which I hope to see. I think you guys could tour for a year straight and the arenas would STILL be sold out. See you on November 8th at Mohegan. SLP…
September 29th, 2008 at 4:37 pm
Can’t wait to see you guys in Cleveland, OH!! It is going to be the greatest!!I even got my husband to come along. I got him to like the new album!!Wish we could meet you then it would even be better but I am sure you get that from everyone!! So glad you guys are back!! Love the new album!!
September 29th, 2008 at 4:38 pm
Okay. So I watched the VH1 special and so wished I could’ve been there, but what I saw was awesome. It looked like you all were havin so much fun up there. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow night at Mohegan Sun. I am beyond excited. I never got to see you when i was younger and finally i get a chance to. I’m drivin my husband and kids nuts, but they’ll be okay. LOL. My 5 year old son is learning all your songs and he sounds so cute singin them. Anyways, love you guys and it’s so great to have you back. Enjoy every second of the ride.
September 29th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
The VH1 was awesome, recorded it and watch it over and over again.I had goosbumps watching it,and get it know thinking about it.
I wish I could have been there at the Gahden but through the tv I was and thank you for that.
And all of you negative people out there give this guys a lot of respect.they came back after 14 years and they did it.they have the same fans as they had back then and new ones, they have sold out concerts and screaming fans.I don’t know anyone that had this kind of a comeback.any comeback and definetly not like this. Its a mayhem out there its like being back in 1991.YOU GUYS DID IT and THANK YOU for coming back, waited a long time but was well worth it.
And this guys were here way before any of 2days boy bands,so be quite with your negativity and show them respect.
Your tour is crazy with a lot of concerts and traveling all over.Take care of yourself, please stay healthy and take care of yourself.easy to get rundown with your schedule,so please please take care of yourself.

I have been to a lot of concerts (including my first ever - a New Kids concert back in the day - and Friday (and Sunday) nights were the most amazing nights I have ever experienced (maybe second to the Red Sox winning the World Series in 2004). You guys were so great on Friday night, that after walking 26 miles in support of the Jimmy Fund (I was traveling for work on the actual day of the annual walk, so I made it up this Sunday) my friends and I decided that we just had to get there for Sunday’s show. You did not disappoint! Donnie, I have loved you longer than any guy ever!
Kisses,

I got to see the VH1 Special and the 1st three songs on TV last night. It looked like it was a great show! I sooo wish I could have been there in person. I am still hoping that a miracle will accure so I can go to the Las Vegas concert. Especially since I have never been to a concert. But that would take money for both the concert and someone to watch my kids since my husband is in the Air Force and gonna for the next year. I was wondering if you have maybe thought of stopping by the Air Force base here in Vegas while you are here. That would be completely AWESOME for me and many other military wives. If you decide you can or would like to I can also see about getting you a tour to the Thunderbird hanger. Since this is there home base they have a nice little museum. To bad you won’t be close to here in November 8th and 9th. That is when our air show is and it is great to experience if you never have see it before.

Hey Guys,
Just got my tickets for November 8th (Section 14 row T seats 7 & 8 HINT, HINT!!) Anyway, I haven’t seen you guys since June 24th, 1990 when Donnie fell through the stage in Saratoga :(. Eighteen years later I am as excited if not more then I was then. I have been sick for the last week so I have been spending all of my time lying in bed watching all of the new and old videos online (maybe I can milk this sick thing a little longer!) I’m gettin’ my mind right for 11/08/08!
With all of my love always,

Thanks so much for making my lifetime dream come true. Every Christmas when I was little, the only thing on my list was to see you guys in concert…Christmas came early this year!
You guys were amazing in Boston and it was so great to relive the emotions from my younger years - especially with some great friends - even though our seats were some of the worst, I am just thankful that I was able to see you guys perform…
Thanks as well for giving up a big part of your lives for your fans - it’s an incredible sacrifice. You will never understand the gift you have given to all of your fans just by coming together again and letting all of us share the experience!

I went to the concert in Boston on Sunday night. We flew in from CLT NC and are now trying to get tickets for that show as well. You guys rocked the Gardens!! I was the one with the “priceless” shirt on. Can’t wait to see you again.
September 30th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
Ilovenkotb, I think you may have misinterpreted what was quoted. No, I have not seen the article which you are ranting about, but I hardly believe that Joe meant anything to offend Canada. I believe every artist pays homage to their hometown when they are to perform there. The “Kids” are 5 guys that haven’t forgotten where they came from and makes sure that all their fans, especially their Bostonians, know that they take pride in their roots. Although I no longer live in the Bronx, like NKOTB, I take MUCH pride in the borough I came from. I rep my Yankees just as they rep the Celtics and the Red Sox. If you view NKTV they gave props to Toronto in 2 separate videos. Sorry they aren’t fans of your sport teams, but they adore their fans there just as much as any country or state they travel to. On behalf of NKOTB, sorry that Joe’s words were taken out of content. FYI: Little things like this create bad press and rumors. NKOTB hardly need either, especially when they are just doing a good thing for their fans. Though Donnie will be the first to put those haters to bed, it would be good for the fans to take notice first. Peace and happiness.

Hi Joe!
Thanks again for the new memories, and for all the old ones too- we truly love you guys. Jonathan, hope all is going well, it was so good to see you again- I wish you nothing but goodness. Thanks for giving me so much positivity in my life- I wish I could do the same for you. Hopefully we all can meet one day!! I’ll keep waiting… see you in Philly!
Just getting back to PA from an AMAZING weekend in Beantown… Just wanted to let you and the guys know that the shows were beyond words- You all look better than ever, and I am so happy and proud of you all! I went to the show on Friday and it was SO INSANE my sister and I decided to hop the “T” and try to get tickets for Sunday too (by the way, the “T” operators on the Green Line were letting all the NKOTB fans on the train FOR FREE!). Really long story short, we got tickets from Jordan and Jonathan’s friend Jimmy- if you read this, can you please tell them to tell HIM we said THANK YOU SO MUCH again? We lost him after the show, and didnt get to say thanks again. He was awesome. We were sitting in the row with Jordan and Jonathan’ mom, and in back of their friends (the girls who had the big vintage buttons- and who were crying haha! you guys still get to us- at age 13 or 32!!! :). It was a dream come true, after all these years
Love, Jenna xo

Hi guys
I hope that you guys had a concert in Conneticut. How is your cold Jon? I hope it is getting better.Hope that no one else is getting sick.
I have been on the puter all afternoon watching old and new videos of you on utube.Waiting for hubby to come home from work and start complaining about the messy house lol. Can’t get enough of you.I can not explain in words how excited I am that you are back together.Been waiting for a long time but let me tell you it was well worth it.And for all you negative people out there eat your words and show respect to these guys. They still have the right stuff, they have fans that has been fans all of these years and new ones,AND sold out concerts. No one has done that,so show some respect.YOU GUYS DID IT.I have missed you and are so happy that you are back. Its like I am 21 again and saw you in concert,my first ever concert. Thanks for the memories.I loved you then and love you today, and I always will.
I am still hoping to get a ticket to see you when you get to Milwaukee, 3 weeks and 1 day and counting. But its going to be tough with me gotten laid off and tight budget.still hoping and hope to get face time.
I have to thank you for me coming to united states from a small town in Norway. After I saw u in concert may 31 1991 in England, after that I was smitten. and had new kids on the block fever.2 years after i saw you I got the chance to move to New York as a nanny.I took it straight away,New york meant I be close to you.New York is not that far from Boston,Anyways after I arrived the whole thing fell apart, the nanny job.I was lucky enough to get another one in Long Island. Was hoping that I would be able to meet you, bump into you.unfortunatly I never did.And then 1994 came and you went seperate ways, saddest time for me.so I am so excited that you are now back and I get a chance again. If it was not for you and the wish to move to United States to see you I would never had the experiences I have had, good and bad.I would never met my husband and have the 2 handsome boys that I have now.for that I am forever greatful to you guys.THANK YOU THANK YOU
I hope that you have a good trip to Washington,Cleveland and Chicago.you guys sure are busy.I am sure they cant wait for you guys and then you are off to Los Angeles.I cant believe that when you guys are in Chicago u are only 2 hrs away from me and I wont be able to see you.
Have a safe trip, take care and get some rest.
Biggest Norwegian fan.Almost 38 but feel like I am 18 right now

Guys…..what else is their to say…you were all my first…smiles innocently*…meaning concert LOL!!!!I saw you when I was 13 at six flags in Saint Louis, Missouri…I remember how crazy it was. We waited hours upon hours and people were passing out from the heat it was all pretty crazy..and then I also remember in the strict Catholic school I went to the teacher would leave for a moment and we would all get up including a couple guys and do the right stuff dance it was to funny I can still picture it…then we would hear her coming back and act like nothing happened. So you all coming back is trully amazing and I cannot wait for the Nov.10th show in St. Louis…I will be there…Love always..Stephanie!

It was a weekend that we were waiting for, for over 14 years, and would love to meet the rest of the group…COME BACK…. TORONTO WANTS YOU BIG TIME

The two Boston concerts were amazing. Donnie you look and sound amazing. Jordan and Jon you are amazing performers. Jon you looked so happy on the small stage I got an amazing photo of you smiling. It was cute when Maria from the VHOne special showed you her Anagram of your full name! Joe you have an inspiring voice. Danny you are a Kick Ass dancer - always have been and always will be. I took 150 photos on Friday and 208 on Sunday. I have to say I lost it when Paul Pierce came out! I went to the Championship Parade for the Celtics and it was great! I have been touched by all of you and your music since the very beginning because you are amazing. I am a Boston girl who loves, lives and breathes everything Boston. When I am home sick if I travel all I need to do is listening to the New and Vintage New Kids and I feel at home and if it is really bad I pop in a Wahlberg movie and I feel at home. I hope you come back for a tour at least one more time. If I can ever meet any of you face to face it would be a true honor you are amazing and gifted young men.

Thank you so much for Boston. It was such an amazing concert. I’m so glad I was able to be there and see the emotional response from both you guys and the fans. Unforgettable. I only wish Zach had been a bit nicer, but oh well.
Can’t wait to see you guys again in Tacoma.
Love always,
Deborah

Bloggin’s not my thing, and I am sure no one will ever read this since there are about a billion comments on here! But I feel like I need to write something anyway so here goes…
I was a huge fan back in the day, like most girls my age. But I honestly haven’t thought about you guys much since the 90’s. Every once in a while over the past several years on a girls night out in Boston someone would pop in a greatest hits cd and we’d all sing our hearts out and talk about who we loved the best back then - but that was about it. I was excited to hear you guys were back together but I was super nervous. I was worried that it was going to just be something thrown together. Nine of my friends and I decided to get tickets to the Sept 26th show…just to be silly. I was looking forward to a night out with my girls but I certainly wasn’t expecting anything too great. I even joked about scalping my ticket. I guess I just didn’t think I could have the same feelings that I had when I was a little girl/teenager…and I didn’t want those old good feelings I had about you to change, turn into something negative. Well all I have to say is that the show you guys put on was outstanding! I was so very impressed and had the time of my life. I was jumping up and down the entire time screaming my head off. It was by far the best show I’ve been to in my whole life. You all look and sound awesome!! When you first came out my eyes actually started to water because I was so happy. I was never able to see you when I was a kid. And I could tell that you guys were having fun too…I really believed that you were happy to be back in Boston. I am a 30 year old financial analyst working in Cambridge, MA…and I now find myself sitting at my desk playing your songs (old and new) over and over again on my iTunes!! It is insane and I love every second of it. So thank you for coming back and thank you for doing it EXACTLY the way it needed to be done….you guys rock!! I don’t know what it is, but whatever it is you certainly have it! We are all swooning over you in Boston, Massachusetts! And to prove it I’d like to quote my best friend Jill from the night we were at your concert…in between screams and arm pumps she looks at me and says…”Wow! It’s so different now that we’re older and actually want to have sex with all of them!” Ha! Thanks again for making us all feel young and special again. We’ll be loving YOU forever
October 1st, 2008 at 11:27 am
OMG guys SUCH a phenomenal show. And Paul Pierce at the end was the icing on the cake! I lost my cell phone and my voice (which is still gone from Friday night) but it was soooo worth it!!! Thanks guys!!! Hope to see you again soooon!!!!!!

I almost got mine but not quite!!! Hopefully I will see you in November in Fl, maybe I can get it then! I love you guys, your concert was so great and congrats on your success!!!!!

Like another fan I could not go to concert back in the day when you came to Norway. It meant traveling and ticket and I just didn’t have the money. So it was very exciting for me when I worked and had my own money when I lived in London and got to see you May 31st 1991.My first concert.Thank you for coming back and make me feel like I did back then.Your VH1 was awesome and like other fan I got chocked up when Donnie talked about his painful divorce and was chocking up about it.I am so sorry to hear about what you went through.could not have been easy.
I hope to get to see you,not much money since I am out of work.
Want some face time with you Donnie.

I was there for the first night in Boston and can I just say…ITS ABOUT TIME!!! These guys rocked the stage, they did it 15 years ago and I hope they continue to do it. I left that Gahden wanting more and before I knew it I was at Mohegan Sun 4 days later. Loved every minute of it and still wanting more..
It was good to have them HOME!!!!!
Donnie, I’ve been a huge supporter of your career during new kids and on the big screen. Keep doing what your doing and keep us Bostonians proud.
Much love and respect

Due to my schedule unable to see the show, but the last show in Boston, picked up dinner for the fam after work- got my kids settled tucked in for the night, put my husband to sleep and then headed down to TD BankNorth in hopes to catch a glimpse of you guys after the show.
I just wanted thank Joey Mac for being so gracious to the fans that waited for you guys outside the “Gahden”. Its so funny because it first started with me in front of the parking gate, then the crowd grew bigger and bigger.. but as time went on, the show got out, 11- 12, the crowd started to dwindle as those with curfews left, then those on trains were forced to leave as to not get stranded, then us WOMEN, with careers, cars, money, no curfews were left waiting for the chance to potentially just meet you guys, say we love you, we appreciate you, and thank you for going back out there again. WE are fans not Fanatics, just wanted a photo, looking for some CLEAN face time with Donnie, JOE, JOHN, Jordan, So many of us had the VINTAGE new kids gear, some tricked out in new creations. But Joey actually stopped his tour bus to allow us to take photos, Joey actually listened while I ranted about a radio station here not playing the REAL version of “SINGLE”-ARGGH!!! I am still lobbying to hopefully get that changed- CROSS OVER!! CROSS OVER. Joey had his family on the bus, but still graciously took time out from his family/baby for the fans. That quick handshake, that time allowing us to tell you that we love you and appreciate you mean’t so much, and we want to thank you, your beautiful wife as well for allowing that. Your a real class act. I heard that John allowed the same thing. Those of us waiting for you guys after the show had a blast!! I played your CD in my jeep out front and we had such a good time. We were a little sad as we thought Boston fans maybe would have gotten the outside venue attention as in overseas, but we know you guys are busy and exhausted. I actually as the last woman standing shut it down at 235am - went to the side hoping to maybe get another photo, but was not successful. But I would do it again. The night was SO MUCH FUN!! For even not being able to see the show, “Hanging Tough ” outside with other fans was a BLAST!! You guys have given us that “feeling” again. A time when possibility was before us, and everything possible. Keep ” Doing the DAMN Thang- get that paper, keep making music that proves you have longevity- thanks for killing us sweetly. Remember us GROWN WOMEN have our minds right, are able to put it all in perspective and have fun with you. Much love, Respect. Hope my schedule allows to catch the next show in NE….. DONNIAC1

Oh!! one more thing… thanks for making history by doing a song with the New Edition. Much respect for giving them their props. Are they going to do a show with you??? Think about it…. Could adding them to shows with you create an outlet for crossing over? I don’t listen too much to my XM radio so I am not familiar if you are crossing over in other areas. Would love to see ” Full Service ” in live, living color :).. Much love, Longevity, and Prosperity… Donniac1

NOT VERY HAPPY WITH ILAA…I WAS AT THE TORONTO M&G AND IT LOOKS AS THOUGH OUR PICS DID NOT TURN OUT. I went to see you guys on Sunday @ TD BankNorth Garden with the 5 Star VIP ticket & all I want to say is THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES! (Although I felt time went by real quick!!) Joey, thanks again for coming out at the end & gave me a hug .. :O)
I will hold these moments dear to my heart ..The show was fabulous (love the outfits, by the way!!) & you guys make me feel like a 14 years old girl again.
Jordan, you were my first love & felt great to finally meet you face to face…
I hope the group photo will turn out great..

My niece and I drove from Indianapolis to see you guys in in Boston on Friday. It was absolutely amazing!!! It was funny though cause a bunch of guys that sat in front of us were saying that they were related to Danny and 2 grew up with Donnie. We know they just liked NKOTB and couldn’t admit it! It was by far the BEST concert we’ve ever been too and we plan to get VIP in St. Louis! We have to see you guys again, and meet you too!! Love, Jennifer
October 2nd, 2008 at 6:32 pm
Friday and Sunday’s concerts were the best concerts I have ever been to HANDS DOWN. I hope this isn’t the last of the tours. We all love you in Boston…..Come back anytime….you will always sell out the shows…..

HI guys.
thanks for the new video on nktv.it was so nice to see how you guys are doing and get another look at how it is backstage.I hope Jordan liked that massage?I want one from you Joey lol.Awww it was so nice that you took time to say hi to your kids Danny.I am sure they were really excited to hear their names and dad took time in his very busy schedule to say hi.And how cool is it to have that on nktv.they can watch it over and over again.I am sure that they miss you a lot.I bet all your guys kids misses you a lot.Seeing you guys backstage getting ready for your concert and hear the screaming fans in the background was almost like being there,I wish I could have been there in Washington.but watching that I was and I had goodbumps. Now you guys are almost done in Washington and off to Cleveland Ohio.hope you have a good trip.I hope that you dont think I am a creepy stalker.knowing where you guys are going at all times lol.I am just a big fan and been that since 1987/88.Love you guys forever.
thanks for the story fan.I wish I could go and stand outside and get time with them at least one of them,if I cant get into concert, unfortunatly they will be 45 min away and hubby works second shift.I need to find a babysitter for the kids.still hoping to get to concert and facetime.

Hello guys,
This is my first time ever writing you. I want to congratulate you on your big comeback. Ever since I saw you guys on TV for your big reunion, I’m in a dreaming mode THANKS A LOT! (LOL) You guys really brought me back to my teenage years. I never went to one of your concerts, but I hope I get to see at least one of you in this life time.
YOur song Summertime also brings me back. The video is OK . While I was watching it I thought :It could have been warmer, I would have loved to see one of you guys dancing with a girl like in a reggae fashion, and it probably wouldn’t hurt to have one chocolate or cafe-au-lait woman (like the leading lady of your SINGLE video) since you do have chocolate fans like myself. IT’s just a thought, in case you are thinking of a remix! Either way, I still think you guys are great!
Warmest and best regards to all of you,
PEACE , LOVE AND HARMONY to you and your family members.
A special HELLO to you, JK
A timid fan.

I stood in the pouring rain with my best friend for hours waiting to see you guys at the Ohio State Fair many years ago, tonight I am taking my 15 year old step daughter to see you in Cleveland. Another rainy day and I am sure another amazing event in my life. You were my first concert and you will be hers. When I need cheered up, feel romantic, mischievous, and just about any other feeling there is, all I need to do is play one of your songs. You have brought back many memories for me and are creating new ones. I have no favorite one of you, I think you are all awesome in your unique ways. Thank you for coming back, we have missed you!See you tonight!
October 3rd, 2008 at 7:44 am
I went to the Sunday show - I can seriously say that was the BEST concert I’ve ever been to. It was off the hook and blew away the NKOTB concerts I went to as a teen. I’ve been big into country lately and have recently seen Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban… you guys blew them all away - the show was awesome!!! I felt 16 again and I love how into it the entire audience was. The vibration in there was insane! And when the guys ever popped up 6 seats away from me in the middle of the floor, I about died. Now I’m not one to swoon but the excitement of seeing them that close (which had been a dream when I was a kid) well it definitely was a high peak for me!! Thanks guys - that was a truly memorable experience!

We saw your show from Boston during the VH1 special & the little bit we saw, OMG! It brought back the chills of the first time we saw you in Philadelphia. Now we’re only 33 days away from the concert & my sister & I can’t wait! Don’t laugh at the countdown…we started counting from day 153! LOL!!! Philadelphia can’t wait to welcome you back to the City of Brotherly Love!
See you November 5!

My 16 yr old has Donnies picture on her cell phone and tells people its her boyfriend, (safe boyfriend for me as a parent, haha) Anyways, you guys are coming to Seattle in November, but I have 5 kids that would love to see you, how about a quick stop in Spokane WA for a concert? We would love to see you!! All my kids have their faves, even my 11 yr old boy….Donnie of course, Joey has and always will be my favorite and my husband is perfectly fine with that….anyways, hope you can accomadate a fans request, SPOKANE, WA….please! Thanks

I’m a blockhead from way back. Can’t wait to see you all together again on stage tonight! You always did rock Cleveland out and I’m sure tonight won’t be any different! Love Joe and Jordan solo but nothing beats you all together bring down the house! It makes me feel 17 all over again!
October 3rd, 2008 at 11:26 am
Hey Guys,
I saw your show at the Borgata on September 27. LOVED IT! You guys are sooooo HOT! Donnie I’m in love with you! You’re a PIMP.
October 3rd, 2008 at 3:33 pm
soooo, i was thinking…wouldn’t it be a fantaaaaaastic idea to add a couple shows back in boston to end the tour :o) what better way to end it!?!?!?!!! not that i think it hasn’t already been suggested…hah…but it’s worth a try, right? you guys are just so great and the ‘beantown’ show was amazing!!! we all miss you and love you so much! lots of love ~amanda XOXOXO
October 3rd, 2008 at 4:01 pm
If you guys ever do a re-mix of “Click Click Click”, you should use the last few seconds of “Stare at You” when Donnie’s talking with his child asking “what’s the name of daddy’s group; daddy’s singing group…das right” then start up “Click Click Click”. That’d be dope! -SLP-
October 3rd, 2008 at 4:55 pm
Ooh yes I agree with that suggestion above, that would be brilliant and so cute
I just wanted to say Donnie thank you so much for doing your oldie song solo, I love when you do that you look so HOT and make me feel nostalgic! In fact I love it when each of you guys does their own thing, don’t want to give it away too much for those that haven’t seen the show yet but you know what you did and you’re all so fantastic
Seen both shows in Boston and gonna see two (or more hopefully) in UK! Love you xxxxx
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:01 pm
JJgeryak your comment above about the guys sitting in front of you claiming to be related to Danny..you know that is possible because on the Sunday show they had lots of their family there! I sat near Joey’s family, his wife on my right and his brother on my left and I saw Donnie’s brother too and Jordan and Jon’s mum was around also so you may have actually sat next to Danny’s relations after all
xx

Hi Guys-
So I know that I am probably crazy for even thinking that you have the time to read this with all of your other fan mail and with the tour….However, I just wanted to thank you for coming back and for doing this reunion tour. It means a great deal to me and all of your fans. It has been so cool that you are keeping all of us posted too as to how things are going on tour through your blogs and videos. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up it wasn’t all that easy- my Mom raised me by herself and we had very little money. While all my friends got to go to numerous concerts and collect all as much NKOTB stuff as they could; I still cherished the little that I had. So after learning all of the songs, dance moves, and wearing out my “Hangin’ Tough” video tape (as I was pretending that I was actually up on stage with you)…I was fortunate to finally go to one of your concerts. I saved as much money as I could in order to attend that one concert…and even though I was all the way up in the nosebleed section; I was in my glory. Now that I am a grown woman, I have come to appreciate all that I have in life and am so excited that you guys are back. I’ve even splurged on a 5* ticket for your upcoming concert in Milwaukee and I’m thrilled that I finally get to meet and hug the men who brought so many wonderful memories to my childhood through their music and performance. You all seem like such great guys…THANK YOU so much for all that you do and for who you are!
Love you all!
October 3rd, 2008 at 10:47 pm
Hi Guys - I was just at your concert in Cleveland and it was great. The best concert that I have been too,,, even better than the 3 NKOTB concerts I saw when I was younger.I knew that there were still many of us out there that never stopped loving you but I didn’t realize the magnitude until tonight. You have a very loyal fan base.
Anyway, the highlight of my night was when I got to touch each of you as you walked down the aisle… I may never wash my hand again
Thanks for a great night and a great memory to take with.
I hope to see you back in Cleveland again soon.
Candy

This will be my first concert ever and I can’t wait. I try to explain to my 8 year old daughter that how she feels about Chris Brown is how I feel about the “New Kids.” I will be seeing you guys in Milwaukee.
Thanks for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity

Hi! I just wanted to say “Thank You!!”. I went to the concert in D.C. on Oct. 3rd. It was unbelievable. You all sounded so good!! It touched my heart to see Donnie get so emotional. It was nice to see a celebrity show some appreciation for the fans that was honest and sincere. It was the best concert I have ever been too. I wanted to say thank you to you all because you helped me fulfill a childhood dream. I had saved up a year for front row tickets to your Coca Cola tour for me and my best friend. I woke up the morning of the show with the chicken pox and was unable to attend. My girlfriend went and had a blast. You all were my favorite band and I started saving up the money for tickets when you came back to D.C. but unfortunately you guys didn’t come back. When I heard you guys were coming back I was overwhelmed. I wasn’t able to get backstage passes but I was able to get tickets for me and my girlfriend. We were about 16 rows from the stage. So 15 years later I was able to finally make it to the concert the with the same girlfriend I was going to go with all those years ago. The concert was even better than I had imagined all these years. Thank you all so much for the great memory that I will cherish forever! I can’t wait for you guys to come back! We are actually trying to see you guys again and try and get backstage passes. We are both stay at home moms and for that night you helped us remember what it was like to be just a girl! It has been two days now since the show and we still can’t talk. We both lost our voices from all the screaming. I wish you guys all the success and happiness you all deserve.
And a special thank you to Jordan! I about died when you came out and did your solo in the white shirt. I have to say you are even hotter today than you were back then! Oh and my girlfriend can’t stop talking about Donnie and how hot you are…You guys still take our breathe away!
Thanks again for the memories!

Hi Guy’s! I would like to Thank You for taking the time out to send us a recent blog. I can only imagine how busy all of you must be and I hope that Jonathan is feeling better because I can only imagine how tired he must be because it’s hard to be at your best when your under the weather, but as always
he did a great job. If possible could he send us a blog to let us know if he is feeling better because he know’s that we all care about him! I live in the city by the sea (Newport) and this weekend we had a few players from the Celtic’s visting and it was very busy down here. It’s nice to live here but it can get CRAZY. I cannot wait until November. Until then have alot of fun and hope to see all of you soon. Dina. dinapc@cox.net

I was at the Sunday night concert in Boston. They were off the chain. I didn’t know what to expect but it was well worth it. They did a good mixture of old and new. The old ones were not weird variations. It brought me back. When I was like 13 I had tickets to see them in concert and my parents wouldn’t let me go so I was determined to go this time! LOL I didn’t have great seats, so I thought. They had this mini stage in the center of the garden. They popped up right in front of me.
They all looked great but i gotta say my eyes were fixed on Jordan most of the night. He is still lookin NICE> When I was younger my father did some work for Tayna Heart who i guess knew Maurice Starr. She took this song I wrote for Jordan and gave it to Maurice. When I went to the concert Sunday night it was like I was back there. A little more grown tho
Great eye-candy! The concert was a great experience, hope to see more soon! KB

Hey Donnie~I looked at your tour schedule and I don’t see Hawaii listed as one of the stops. NKOTB may have done a concert in Hawaii years ago. How ’bout coming back? I know Jon & Jordan had a cousin living in Hawaii and I think I may still have a picture of Jon in front of his cousins condo. I am older now and I would take my daughter & neice to see you guys in concert. Think about it.
