So cute! He has his daddy’s gorgeous blue eyes. I would so babysit if ya’ll need one. I could watch him during ya’lls Minneapolis concert (backstage of course!). Haven’t stopped listening to the CD since I got and it’s one of those that will always be playing. I love it. I can’t wait for the concerts. Remember to spend some time with all ya’lls family. Love ya’ll, loyal to the very end.

OMG I can’t even imagine attempting to pack for a tour!? And then add all the stuff you need for Griffin….I’m actually surprised that pile isn’t bigger.
Something tells me Barrett is responsible for keeping all of that organized. You may be the tour veteran Joe, but that’s definitely a woman’s packing job.

I have three with the smallest being the same age as Griffin and I cannot imagine having to pack for that long of a trip. Good luck and I hope Griffin is fine on the road.

It’s so good that you can take your family on the road. That will make the tour so much easier on you. Kudo’s to Barrett for braving the tour with you. That must be one strong little woman you have.

Shout out from Kade Kellogg, we are the same age, make sure mommy gets lots of those puffs dude !!
I invite you and your mommy to join me in Battle Creek (yes Kellogg territory) around Halloween for the Zoo Boo at Binder Park Zoo! Mommy told me that you will be in the area at that time. I went last year and my stroller was decked out in Halloween decorations and I was a monkey, you can see animals at the zoo, go trick or treating, go for a hay ride and carosel ride. So much fun!

LOL! That is to cute! He is worse then a girl!!! LOL! Babies take up a lot of space don’t they all that stuff for someone so tiny. I remember having to do that just to go to visit my friends out of town I would take there hole room. I hope he didn’t get lost in the bags. LOL!

Hey Joe,
Thanks for showing us the cute pictures! It’s great that Barrett and Griffin are able to be with you on tour. It will definitely make the tour a little more interesting for you and a lot more fun too. He may get so accustomed to being on the road with you that you may have to rent a tour bus to get him to sleep at night once the tour is over! Before all this, did you realize how much STUFF a baby requires? It definitely makes traveling more challenging but in the end it’s better to have too much stuff than not enough. I can’t wait to see you and hopefully your family on Oct. 4th in Chicago!

I grew up in foster homes and group homes.. you guys hit the music world by storm when i was just 2 years into being in the foster care system… it was tough but i was able to get through because of the 5 of you!! i am forever greatful for that!! when you split in 94 i was devistated but got through.. later that year i met my hubby
now that you guys are together again and touring i feel it is the perfect time to get the chance to thank you for being in my life!! you touring again has made my life fun and exciting, i always knew it would happen just didnt know when

The little guy is really growing up fast. Thank you for sharing his pics with us. I hope the whole family has a great time on the tour and give Barrett out best. I don’t think Griffin will get bored, looks like he want to take the whole nursery. I understand that!!! Be safe on the tour and I hope you all have a blast.

Joe! OMG!
He is absolutely adorable! He does indeed look just like you. :-)I could only imagine how much time and effort it took you (Barrett) to pack for him! I have twins and I don’t think one bus would fit all of our things in it for a couple of months! Good Luck and god bless!!!Thanks for sharing, I have been dying to see recent pics of him! (Make sure he is at the 5* in Detroit! I would love to entertain him while you entertain your fans!!)

Joey - I just met you for the first time, in Boston at NC & you were just too sweet! I could not believe how AMAZING your eyes were in person & up close, just wish I would have had the nerve to ask for a hug! Next time! Maybe in Beantown again or RI.

He is just so precious! I know you are really going to cherish having him on the road with you, sharing this experience! Keep some frozen waffles around for help with teething! My kids knawed on them when they were teething. They are good and cold on the gums, and go into mush so the baby can eat them! Good to have on the road when you can’t stop for oragel.

Joe–the older Griffin gets, the more he looks like you. I’ll bet he’ll love the road just as much as you do too. I am counting on lots of blog posts about this little guy playing rockstar on the bus, and hopefully tons more pics too. I’m glad to know that he and Barrett will be making the road a much less lonely place to be for you. Keep posting, and also let’s do more chats like the one the other day–that was fun and so much better than the moderated chats back in ‘99! So glad to be a fan right now in 2008 as always!

Joe and Barrett, Griffin is Gorgeous….how kool is it to take the family along for the ride. Boy! You are brave…Just a short family vacation involves so much planning & soooooooooooooooooo much stuff!! But I think you made the right choice. Paul & Linda used to take the whole family on the road & their kids turned out great. If the others bring theirs you’ll need a tutor for them instead of for you, Joe :). I’m a tutor for grade school with years of experience, I volunteer, LOL.
He’s a little doll. My oldest had that same cute face shape but curlier & blonder hair. So sweet. Wish we could see Eric while he’s still small too.

Well we are ready for the tour too. So, we can’t wait to see you Griffin you are sooo adorable just like your daddy and you are a lucky baby you get to go on the road with your daddy and his group most babies don’t get to experience that often in their lifetime.
