SPECIAL NOTE TO JOE AND THE NEW KIDS!!!
Joe, I just wanted to write and tell you, “Thank you.” The New Kids have let a lot of their long time fans relive their childhood dream….getting to see the New Kids in concert. I’m definitely in that category. I also want to say thanks because I’ve had the opportunity to bond, on a level I never imagined would have been possible, with my two daughters (elementary grades). I believe they have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know their “teenage mom.” I feel like I’m 30 going on 13. SO, I hope this thank you means as much to you as it does me and all your fans. I’ll see you in Kansas City- FINALLY!!

OH YEAH, you now officially have two more fans, my girls (but I’m sorry to say my oldest daughter’s favorites are Donnie and Danny). Maybe they will have the opportunity to share the New Kids with their children. So once again, THANK YOU for helping many of us share and make memories.

One more thing…thank you guys for helping me find my best friend in the whole world, Rockergirl. She and I are like long lost sisters…seriously. You guys are just waaaay too funny. I love this!! And Donnie, Joe’s right, we’ll be going over these blogs like the Zapruder film because we’re just crazy like that, so it doesn’t matter who quickly you show anything! And look at Jon with the sunglasses and throwing up the peace signs, LOL. Danny doesn’t look sold on the Rockettes to me.
(Hope Jordan’s in the next two parts!) Next week is going to be CRAZY (perhaps not quite as crazy as May, but we’ll see!), I’ll be getting some more Face Time in New York while listening to the new CD nonstop. CAN’T WAIT! LOVE YOU GUYS!

so when i started this ride a couple months ago i laughed when my sis told me of the reunion and tour. i thought, yeah right, i would never go. well, i started checking out all the fuss on line and then watching old videos on you tube. oh, the emotions started coming back! it took me several days to finally click submit to buy tickets. i finally broke down and said its worth the almost $200. i didnt want to have regrets. i am older, wiser, and i deserve to see the guys that helped me to escape from my crazy childhood. i never made it the first time around to see the guys, so here i come!! i am driving my husband crazy!(but at least he does like what he hears in terms of new music). my 2 yr old(boy)and 5 yr old (girl) are lovin the old songs. i have watched the soundcheck numerous times now just to hear click click click. i have officially joined the rest of all u crazy block heads and i can not wait til oct 12th in phoenix!!!! any one else going in phoenix? i need back up here. my friends and sis are not on the bandwagon with me. =(

Oh, wait…it must be that thing that makes it stop in mid-video that I like, never use….*snickers* I have to watch something like that a couple times cuz I’m so busy laughing I don’t catch it the first time! I hope you guys read these comments. I am not going to the NYC show, but I am hoping to catch you guys near me in Charlotte, NC. You guys are HILARIOUS. I have said that numerous times. You tease us so much, it isn’t funny. We are behind you 100%. I have been since I was 6 years old. I am almost 28 (Yo, Jon, if you read this, we have the same birthday, I want a card! LOL). I hope you guys see this. I am a resident of Louisiana and as you know Gustav is headed this way. First of all I don’t want your concert flooded out and canceled because I love you, and haven’t seen you in person in 18 years, but more importantly my southern neighbors don’t need to go throught this again. I just wanted to throw this idea out there. If Gustav does severely damage New Orleans (which I PRAY it does not)instead of cancelling the concert you could move it up here to my are of Louisiana (Monroe). We have the Civic Center or even the basketball arenas at our colleges: Louisiana TECH (where I attend) in Ruston, or ULM in Monroe. You could donate the proceeds to help the victims in New Orleans and neighboring areas. Most importantly I do not want my state’s citizens to suffer through this again but I also don’t want to miss out on seeing you guys. So please, if the worst happens and you do happen to see this think about this proposal, I am sure the people here in our area would be more than willing to work with you and I would do all I could to help. oh my lord okay so now four of the five of you are out to kill me and give me a heart attack on a friday dang boys. see since I usually reserve for my Jonathan who I love so much I promise honey in case you have not realized in all my multiple blog postings I do baby I promise. However I needed to spread my love and express to four other men that I also love my love for them that I do not do often enough.
First my sweet Joe who started 20 years ago as the little brother I always wanted and who now is like this grown up with a wife and the cutest little baby he is so adorable. You are so talented and you make me laugh and right now you hold the distinction of being the only new kid I have met and I was so nervous I think my knees were shaking and everything and you were so sweet to me and I realized that day how sweet and kind and special you were thank you for being you and I love you so much.
Donnie - Donnie - Donnie where do I begin with you - I adore you because of how immensely talented you are and how you can just make us fans just happy and just knowing that we are on the ride with you and how much you love and adore us and we love and adore so much back. Thank you for being spark plug and our energy and being our Donnie never afraid to show the real him and I love you so much for that I am in awe of your talent and what an amazing person that you are.

I bought the Greatest Hits CD/DVD pack today at Walmart. They were supposed to be showing your Soundcheck performance, but all they played was the teaser and kept saying to tune in on Aug 29th at 7pm. I stayed there for an hour waiting, and there was nothing else. I even asked the store clerk, and she didn’t know what I was talking about. I’m guessing it was 7pm EST, and I missed it. Still, it was so cool seeing you guys talking on all the TVs in the back of the store!

Loved it!! Too Cute! It’s about time we see more of you Danny! I think I could watch this video everyday just to see your smile and hear you laugh!!! I had to wait all day to see this ’cause I couldn’t see the video at work and I am still recovering from camping out in Burbank but it was well worth the wait!!
Like Kekkie (posted above), I have seen Danny’s mySpace too! It is awesome! Ladies, if you haven’t checked it out, you will not be disappointed. I am not a myspace fan and I don’t have a page (I’m a high school teacher and just feel weird about getting one myself) or I would have left Danny messages a million times by now. But the songs are wonderful…Danny, I would love to hear you sing lead on this album, my fingers are crossed. But seriously, everyone take a look! And Danny, I’ve always known how talented and amazing you are…your songs and the heart-warming tribute to your mom only strengthens that belief. You’re the best!
Anyway, thank you so much for this experience!! My loyalty to you guys has never died! Yay for the internet that I get to feed my New Kids appetite whenever I want with blogs, news, videos, music, etc.

ok first and foremost- i love you guys .. !! secondly- i just want to say that “jones beach 1988″ - i was there and I can not wait to be there in Atlantic City with you guys! I have never been this excited in my entire life, me and my beautiful cousins rented a room down there and we plan on partying with you boys after the concert. Donnie- you keep saying you want hugs and to party.. well the bronx girls are definitely bringing their “a game..” =) I have no doubt this will be the best concert I have ever been too!! Donnie, you are such a tease!! I was watching the video blog, enjoying it of course, when you started to say and now on a personal note…Then bam the video blacks out. I can hardly wait for the next blog. The guys are right you are truly the blogmaster. I’m counting the days to October 3rd, at Quicken arena. I have to suffer all through September, at least THE BLOCK comes out soon and my birthday is the 18th so I have something to look forward to in the meantime. Okay, so I know I already left a note for ya’ll but I just had to write again. I want to personally thank ya’ll for reuniting. I just saw the E! New special. I totally agree with the girl that sent you a letter. I started out as a fan as a little 3yr old girl so you guys ended right at the time that I was getting into my pre-teens (which apparently I was horrible during that time) anyway, my life had been very monotonous, routine, and boring. Ya’lls reunion gave me some excitement in my life. It gave me something that got me excited to see what’s new with ya’ll. I think ya’ll already know how grateful we fans are that NKOTB is back (and hopefully for the long haul!?!?) so I won’t bore ya with that stuff. I have one little favor that I was hoping ya’ll could do for me. So ya see we all have our “favorites” (don’t worry we love ya all!) out of the group. My “favorite” is the beautiful and shy Jonathan Knight. I would love it if he had a couple solos during some songs. It doesn’t have to be a lot. Jonathan, if ya aren’t comfortable with a solo I understand.
I am so excited to see ya’ll on the today show. I don’t have classes that day so I will be able to be sitting by the tv acting like a little girl again. I can’t wait to get the album. It’s pre-ordered and everything. I plan to have it in my car and in the house (that way I don’t need to keep switching). I am loving all the songs.
Anyway, I will end this long blog (I know ya’ll have things to do). I would just like to thank ya’ll again for getting back together. Love ya’ll, loyal to the very end.

Well, tickets to your upcoming concert in Washington DC was the only thing I asked for to celebrate my 35th birthday. The concert is on Oct 2 and my birthday is Oct 3. When I asked for the tickets I told my husband I felt good about going on the 2nd even though it is my Dad’s birthday because he was feeling so much better at the time. In February, my father, Joe Young of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was diagnosed with brain cancer. He did the treatments and in June we were told that the cancer was gone. A month later he started suffering from seizures on his way to his last treatment. We were told that the cancer was back and there was not much we could do. Dad tried the treatment one more time, but it was too much for him. Two weeks ago, on August 17, my father passed away. The other day I told my Mom that I felt funny about attending your concert on what would have been my Dad’s 72nd birthday. But my Mom assured me that the only thing my Dad ever wanted for me a my brothers was to be happy and have a good time as much as possible. So she told me Dad would still want me to go to the concert. So, my friend and I will be there, at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC on October 2 to celebrate my birthday and my Dad’s. I remember when I was too young to go in to the arsenio hall show in Los Angeles but I did get to sneak in to the hotel that night but we were kicked out. What sucked was that my friends little sister started to scream and we saw Jordan hanging out with NYCE guys he didn’t think that was cool of her screaming. She ruined it for us. Damn her.

Jonathan, I just wanted to send a message to let you know that you are an inspiration to me. I also suffer from anxiety attacks and I recently watched you and Jordan on youtube on the Oprah show (yeah I know, I’m behind the times!). For you to be able to reunite with the group and go back on tour is amazing. I think about you and what you go through to be able to go on stage when I have to do something that sets off an anxiety with me. I just wanted you to know that I admire you and what you are doing. Just thought you should know there is someone out there that understands. You are my inspiration! I hope to be able to make it to one of the Toronto shows!! If you can do, I better be able to!!

Just wanted to let you know that I pre ordered The Block. I received it on friday August 29 and I have not stop listening to it. The Hangin’ Tough shirt is wonderful. OK so I have the album now it is 2 in the morning! No pun intended, but anyway I have to tell u I LOVE IT!! I just have to tell u guys that the songs are great. Some of my fave’s are Full Service, Single, Don’t cry, but I have to say one song brought me to tears. The reason it did was because my husband has spoke these words to me and done this to me since the first time I met him 15 years ago. And it may be because I miss him, because he is over sears in Iraq, but Stare at you totally brought me to my knees. I can’t stop crying!!!! Man you guys SUCK!!! You all know how to tug at the heart with the romance songs. I swear me and this album are going to have a love, hate relationship. AND THEN DONNIE had to go and stick a clip of him and his sun on there. My eyes just had to welt up again. You guys are to much. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! Don’t ever ever ever brake up again. It will brake all of our hearts. You done did it now!!! It is SO ON!!

I saw you guys in Cleveland on Friday and I have to say that it was a great show. My friend and I drove 4 hours from Cincinnati to see the show and drove home right after, but it was well worth the trip. I cannot say enough how great it is to see you guys again it really means a lot to me that I was able to relive a lot of old memories that night. You guys looked and sounded amazing and thank you for putting on such a great show. Donnie, I hope you get all your hugs, I wish that I couldve gave you one that would’ve made my day. Good Luck to you guys and hope the rest of the tour goes great for you. I hope I’m able to catch another show before the tour ends even if I have to drive farther than 4 hours.
