Our album is coming out great!!!
(At least in my humble opinion…….)
On a side note…
While I enjoy any hype for our album….
And while I also (sometimes) enjoy the audacity of people writing blatantly fabricated “news” articles…
We are NOT recording with Michael Jackson and/or Madonna.
We never claimed to be either.
Good fun reading about though!
Sorry to let ya down…. Or not.
Anyway….
Can’t wait til you all hear who we did do some collabo’s with!!!!

I figure ANY news about you guys means that people are interested, so I take most of what I hear with a grain of salt until I hear it from one of these blogs! LOL!

I am writting for my little man because I know he could not type fast enough to be one of the first postings.
He LOVES you, ever since he found my CDs back in ‘04 is NKOTB all the way.
He is so excited to go to all the concerts and hopefully see you again tomorrow
I have to confess you guys were a sweet memory from my past, but having such a obcessed little fan here made me fall in love with you guys all over again.
I am sure the new CD will be great and the concerts and everything else you guys do!
Sammy is saying, “Hi and I love you Donnie!” he is doing all kinds of cards and things for you and the guys
He also wanted me to tell you his favorite song is “Are you Down” and that his favorite CD of yours are NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, The Christmas CD, and Hanging’ Tough- in this order. Thank you so much for being so nice to him everytime he sees you. He was even offered to go to see Jonas Brothers(more his age) and he said, “No Way, New Kids are way better”. His B-day is tomorrow and yep we are having a NKOTB party with NKOTB cake and everything

I’m still crossing my fingers to hear from KIIS that I won an invite to the listening party on Saturday. I figure its my last chance at some real “face time” with you. Not holding out much hope for the MnG on 10/8 when you will have more people there :-(. Hope for me that I get that call/email soon, k? We did think the MJ collaboration was a bit questionable. I wonder about the other one I heard about. hmmmm. I was excited about it. It seems PERFECT. I wonder if the one YOU’RE talking about is the one I’M thinking of. The suspense is killing me.

Believe me Donnie…I echo everyone in saying there is not even an ounce of disappointment! I think everyone knows no matter who you do or don’t collaborate with, this album is going to be SIZZLIN’(to steal your words). The only voices I need to hear on this album are those of the five hardest working “kids” in show business…everyone else is just gravy! And did I hear you right? Are you coming to see ME?? Let me just say that the news about NO COLLABORATION is very GOOD news to me. When are we all going to hear another part of a new song. I love “Click…” and “Summertime” but I really want to hear another one. Can’t wait for the album. I am so excited for when ya’ll are at the Mall of America here in the amazing Minnesota. Its good that you cleared that up for us fans you can’t always believe what you read guess ppl like making up stories just for fun of it. I’m glad you are ready to come to us and I can’t wait to meet you finally your the only one I havent had a chance to meet yet. Cant wait to see you and the guys in New Orleans and Atlanta. Well, well here we go again..oh ya oh ya..I am loving these blogs. They make me smile everytime. I never believe those rumors about you guys and MJ & Madonna. In my opinnion you guys are way better than them. You guys are unqiue in your own way that is why we love ya.
Now about this CD my kids keep asking me all the time when it is coming out. I keep telling them to be patient like me (NOT)
but I let them listen to your albums daliey. Every day in house, car or where ever we go it is new kids day. LOL Crazy huh??? We all can’t wait.
My kids are funny they know how much you guys were apart of my teens and how much it made me happy :-)!!! So they now are are loving you guys too. My oldest daughter is 11, my middle daughter is almost 8 and my son is turning 6 on August 16th. Interesting date!!! He tells me to call him “lovable leo”! Lol Especially after him hearing you saying that in your song “I WANNA BE LOVED” from your first album New kids On The Block.

I do love MJ and even Madonna but it’s cool. Now the collabo rumor that I do hope is true is the one about New Edition!! What a dream! People.com says it was your idea. Genius!! You have such a good head for music Donnie. You kept it going with Mark and Jordan’s albums (your tracks- and the samples used are always hot!) Now you are keeping that going with the NK album and I am so excited. You know what would be the icing on the cake… to have New Edition on the tour. Can you hear that?…that sigh?…listen carful…it’s the sigh of RELIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen, I know many people would find it an “honor” to collaborate with “Mr. I can’t keep my hands of little boys”, and I know many are collaborating with him on his eventually to be released duets album, and that is all fine and dandy, but when I heard you guys may be collaborating with him also I felt a sharp pain in my heart and a strong streak of worry.
I work in association with the entertainment industry so I can see were the business appeal may be in collaborating with someone who has such a long and prosperous reputation as a musician. But as a NK fan and aunt to many wonderful children, the name NKOTB is not something that would make me jump for joy to hear in association with a known and or/ accused child pedophile.
Audacity is the right word, isn’t it funny how some things just don’t change? The media may get more technology advanced but the same old techniques of spreading false rumors to get a reaction is always the same? The good thing is that time and experience have taught you all how to handle it. Keep on laughing Donnie, at the end of the day we all will always wait for you guys to tell us the truth and that is all that matters.
With that said, Thank you so much for the update and clarification. In one of the many interviews from Germany Joe disarmed the fallacy of the MJ rumor, but it is even better to get it directly from you guys to us. We can always count on you to make thing “official” and never allow rumors to hang out there to long nor give them more attention than needed.
You guys have a great time this weekend, much success to you all and if you are coming believe me we will be waiting for you. Bring on the face time.

Very interesting, LOL! I saw several news flash type things about MJ but no Madonna. Makes you wonder where they get started. I always wait for news from here before I’m convinced of anything. I am so hyped to listen to the new cd! I was going to fly out from Cincinnati to be at the grand opening of the new Best Buy where you guys will be at August 8th but it had said that you can’t take pics with you all. I was bummed about that. Not to be corny but on my Things I want to do before I die list is to meet you guys. Me and my friend Kim (may she R.I.P.) always wanted to do that. She did not get that chance so I am trying to do that for the both of us. But dane it I want the picture. I want it so I can put it buy her grave to show her that I accomplished one of our dreams. But I will be at the concert in chicago on Oct. 4th so maybe I can try and make things happen then. But keep up the good work and I am so looking forward to the concert! I work with children that have been through serious trauma, and he is one of those men that I can’t stand to look at…so YEAY…super glad here. I have to say that I am very much looking forward to the new album.
I wanted to come to the Mall of America for the autograph signing, but sadly, I’m too far away. The price of gas is ridiculous. I calculated it, and to drive from Toronto, Canada to Minnesota would cost me around $500 and 30 hours of driving there and back eeesh. By plane, train, car or bus it’s all just too damn much. I normally would be impulsive, and say to hell with it… I’m on my way. I’d risk my life pushing through a crowd of 30+ year old women any day any time, but University tuition is approaching fast for September.
Through all my nonsensical ramblings, what I really mean to say is:

Hi again Donnie! I know you probably quit reading these comments at some point but I had to write this somewhere.
I didn’t win an invite from KIIS to the CD Listening Party on Saturday and my heart is breaking. I was looking forward to talking music with you & hopefully learning some things from your POV if I was able to ask a question during Q&A. I don’t regret meeting you at the KIIS station in May nor the HoB (first time that I’ve seen you perform
) but I wouldtrade it all if I could of had Saturday. Just to be in the same space as you and hear what you have to say would’ve meant the world. This one will hurt for awhile.
I wish I could have some of that “face time” that some fans will have but I highly doubt the MnG for 10/8 will allow it. I hope that I get that chance with you someday…even if I have to wait another 20 yrs.

Will you be recording with New Edition? That is another one they are talking about. An interview with the guys was on TMZ or Entertainment Tonight or something about that. Phew! That’s a relief. I only heard the Michael Jackson rumor, but it did not sound like an awesome idea to me. At this point, even though he’s the “King” he probably needs you much more than you need him…

I’ve been a fan since I was 15 years old and even after all these years, as a 33 year old woman, I am having as much fun watching and listening to you now as I did back then. NKOTB got me through some very trying, emotional times in high school. I spent many hours listening to your music and watching your videos, interviews and performances. You guys always brought a smile to my face and some of the best, craziest, most memorable times with my friends were spent going to your concerts. I look back on that time of my life, the years spent with all of you, with great happiness.
Seeing you together again brings that familiar smile back to my face. THANK YOU for coming “back to the block”! We’ve missed you and we’re so glad we can share this journey with you once again! Best of luck with the tour. (By the way, your fans in Albany, NY miss you….how about coming to our city for a show? ; )

OMG I’m so excited for September 18th! I convinced my cousin to get the All Access 5-Star V.I.P. tickets so I could meet the love of my life Donnie Wahlberg. He was my VERY FIRST CRUSH EVER! (I was only eight) I even told my fiance that if Donnie were ever to come to his senses and realize that we would be perfect together, that the wedding would be off. I’m pretty sure I have a better chance of growing a third boob though. So watch out Donnie I’m coming! I’ll be the curly haired Canadian girl with the well-used Band of Brothers disc set…and most likely a third boob. I’m really going to need a new bra.

I’m not at all disappointed that you’re not collaborating with MJ or Madonna. For one, you and Madonna are so different, musically speaking, that I just don’t see how you could ever complement eachother.
And as for MJ, maybe he needs you guys more than you need him.
But I can imagine that sometimes it’s fun to read all the rubbish people can come up with. “Hey, did you know we are recording with Madonna?” “We are?”

November still seems so far away. I just dont know how I am going to wait that long till I see you. Every day seems to get longer and longer.
As far as rumors go. I dont listen to them as I have been on the receiving end of those and know that almost all of them are not true. We just wait for you guys to let us know whats going on.

I also wanted to let you know that I saw the program Intervention in Depth: Heroin Hit’s Home. I thought that the program was very informative and helpful to families who are dealing with this everyday. I am a Nurse and I have seen what families and the individual’s who are coping with this can do. It is very hard to see families and they’re loved one’s go through this. It was great meeting you guys Saturday in LA at the “Sneak Rehersal”! It was way more people than we expected and security were very rude and pushy, but we tried not let them bother us and I must say, you guys were so very sweet. Thanks for the picture with us! My picture was good except for4 Donnie was too busy looking at me to smile for the camera. Hope you enjoyed our scrap books and thanks for signing them! I cannot express how excited I am that you guys are coming to Cleveland! My best girlfriend and myself have already purchased our tickets and are counting down the days. I have been a huge fan since the beginning, and recently my parents recovered all of my old memorabilia from storage…all of my pins, t-shirts, bedding, piana sheet music…everything! I still have my trading cards tucked away in my little hope chest:) The Hangin’ Tough Tour was my very first concert and I later saw you at the Agora in Cleveland. My brother has fond (or not so fond!) memories of me gettin ecstatic whenever you were on the television or just knowing your voice in songs(or getting jealous when it wasn’t me being selected as the “cover girl.”) I am an adult now, but I still find myself instantly revert to my schoolgirl days whenever NKOTB is mentioned….once again, I am so excited and I absolutely cannot wait until October! Nor can I wait for the new album!!!! YES!

I’m sure you’ll never respond to this, but i had to let you know i was at your performance in LA this past weekend, so i do know who you’re calebs r with! But i felt i needed to let you know that meeting you guys would’ve been a dream come true for me and my daughter except for the fact that the security you had there actually yelled at my daughter made her cry and forced her to stand outside on the streets by her self crying while i was trying to talk to security, noone even told me what had happened to her, it was a VERY scary time for the both of us, i know this isn’t your fault, but i thought you should know because that security company could cause you guys to lose alot of fans if they treat them all that way. The radio station here did give us tickets to see you when you come in November, and promised to try to make it right by us, so hopefully we will get to meet all of you after all, then.
