Hi everyone,
We are back from Germany and it was amazing. Through out this experience I never know what to expect. The German fans are more than ready for THE BLOCK just like everyone here and in Canada. The support was unbelievable and it was awesome. Every where we went people where there to support us. We are looking forward to the European tour next year.
I want to rundown our week for you so maybe you will get an idea of what it was like.
We arrived Monday July 7th to Germany. We took the day to recuperate from jet lag, see the movie set, and have a fitting for our crazy medieval outfits.
Tuesday we filmed, as ourselves in medieval times, with the amazing German director/actor Til Schweiger. It was a fun day aside from the black soot we all inhaled during the filming. After we finished we where blowing out black boogers. There where flames being blown thru the air through out our performance. It was a pleasure working with Til and we look forward to the release of the movie in December.
Wednesday was the big international press conference. It was amazing to see over 200 European journalists in the room. I always feel like we are just those 5 guys from Boston and how did we end up here. It was a very humbling experience. The rest of the day was spent doing tons of European press and we didn’t finish until nighttime.
Thursday and Friday NKOTB was split into 2 groups so we could cover more ground. We went to Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Kiel, Hannover, Magdeburg and then all got back together in Berlin. We visited radio stations, TV stations, did print interviews and Internet outlets. It was great and felt really good to be so productive.
I need to personally thank Sven Kilthau-Lander, Jurgen Grebner, and the whole Universal Records staff for the amazing job they did in Germany. We are looking forward to all our future endeavors in Europe.
We are back in L.A. for tour rehearsals. September 18th is coming soon and we are so excited.

I am so glad you guys are back safe! Black boogers? LOL I have always wanted to go to Germany and see all the beautiful sites there. Especially the old castles.
I really love the way you are humbled about being “those 5 guys from Boston.” You guys have always kept it real and that’s why we all love you.
Having this website and myspace pages is so wonderful! Back in the day, we didn’t have a connection like this. I remember buying magazines and watching specials on tv you guys did, but it was hard to keep up on everything. This way, we know what to expect next and it feels like we are connected. Isn’t the internet great?
I can’t wait until November 11 in Kansas City!! You are so awesome, Danny and did I mention how much I love your smile? I can’t help but smile every time I see your face. Ok, now I’m blushing….

Please don’t miss it.And here in JAPAN,some radio station’DJ play { Summertime } by heavy and power rolling.My fave station FM Yokohama DJ aleady play the song 10 times more every Wed.
I guess that Japan is so far and far east for NKOTB,however there’re too many blockheads in here and we can listen to NKOTB song everywhere in JAPAN.

We are so glad that you made it back home safely and that you enjoyed yourselves. We are anxiously awaiting the start of the tour and will see you at various places throughout, though the most collective group of us will be in Vegas.

Sounds great thanks for sharing how Germany was for you guys. Soyunds like it was fun but very busy as I’m sure everything has been since the reunion became offical. Cant wait for album glad to know its coming soon!! I will be getting my copy the day it comes out. The tour will be great too I am taking my cousin which will be her first show. My 2nd and and my 3rd seeing Joe and Jordan. I hope all goes well getting the tour set up.

Can’t wait to see the movie *crossing fingers we’ll see it in the US* and I know us Jon girls are really looking forward to seeing those leather pants in more detail! Oooh. La. La.

It warms my heart to hear Europe opening their arms wide open to receive you. I spent the evening smiling, dancing, reminiscing. How often does music just make me happy anymore? How often do I smile without reason? There’s a magical combination of voices for me - voices that I’m sure the world never thought to hear together again. Now they’re back - and it couldn’t have come at a better time for me. Just when I was losing myself in my own personal issues, and starting to get really down about the whole thing; there’s a light in my life again. Yes, it sounds sappy. Yes, it sounds perfectly teenage girl silly. That’s what makes it so perfect. There hasn’t been a time in my life since when I felt so free and just utterly happy for no reason. I’ve been happy since. I’ve been a little crazy since. But I never had quite the reaction to anything else in my life. There is a certain magic created by the energy of the music. It’s like an old friend has been returned to me just when I needed it most. The magic is far from gone - it is as strong for me as it ever was. All grown up now, I can appreciate better the sheer pleasure of the sound. I know I am joined by many in this, just as there are many who could never understand the special feeling created when you lose yourself in the fantastic energy created by such love of the “game”. The oldest stuff is still really sweet, the love songs still touch me in ways no other songs have since. The rediscovery of this perfect (for me) sound has helped me remember something SO special - they do this for ME. Me and every other tried and true fan who was so dissapointed by the loss of their combined magic. From the sweet, seductive sound of Jordan, to Donnie’s impeccable timing and Danny’s devastatingly deep vocals, they were all greatly missed by me. Especially singing TOGETHER. I guess I didn’t realize how much I missed not having new stuff from them. Not that we didn’t all secretly (or not so secretly) pack our iPods and MP3 players with sounds from our youth. They have been there, steady through it all; in the back corners of my heart. I’m just happy to be caught back up in all the excitement again. Barely able to wait for the nearest concert, I still hold onto my dream of one day having the pleasure of meeting each one. This feels like the one case of reality living up to the dream. Maybe because it’s such an old dream…Thanks, guys; for the decision to bring it all back together and show this new pop era what you’ve got. Love you always!

I am glad things are going well for you gentlemen. I know it gets old to hear, but you guys were the first concert I ever attended. I was “madly in love” with ya.
I am so happy that you guys were able to return in such a bright and positive way. I did have some great tickets for the Dallas show but unfortunately, because gas prices have been so high, I was forced to sell them to make ends meet this month. 
I love what I do for a living (chef) but its not all that lucrative. I would never dishonor you guys, I did sell them for the same price that I bought them for. Anyhow, since I won’t be there to support you in person, I wanted to thank you for coming back and helping us create new warm and fuzzy New Kids on the Block memories. God Bless You!

Danny~I’m so glad I decided to check my email while I’m in Hotlanta…sounds like Germany was a blast, and I hope the movie has a U.S. release because I sooo want to see all of you in medieval garb (oh! lala!).
I feel like I’m that girl back in middle school sometimes with all of this going on, and I love it! It brings a purely simple joy in my life! I think only you, the rest of the New Kids, and true blockheads can understand!
I got my 5 STAR VIP tickets, so I will be seeing you in Charlotte, and I am looking forward to it (ask anyone that knows me and they will testify brother:)

SO I have my tickets and I am waiting (not so patiently) for November 22. I am so excited. I have said this before and I will say it again. This is a dream come true for me. My husband is even being nice and staying home with the kids so I can take a friend. I dont think he’s as excited about the reunion as I am…lol Love you guys and cant wait to see you.

Hi Danny, my name is karin and i’m a mother of a beautiful (almost 2 year old) daughter. I’ve been a fan of NEW KIDS..since i was a teenager. I went to the concert when you guys went to my country INDONESIA in the early 90s.
I currently live in Maryland. I moved to the US in 95 to chase one of my dreams which is meeting the NEW KIDS..in person. When I heard that you guys are reuniting, i cried ’cause finally I have a chance to pursue my dream. I did buy the 5 star VIP Package for your show in Atlantic city, but I have to put my dream on hold. I have to move back to Indonesia because of personal reasons in early September.
When I read Donnie’s blog and said, “.. I am coming to, and I will, FIND YOU!!! I expect to meet you, speak with you, and get some face time with as many of you as possible. That’s my word!”
I’m really hoping that you guys can make one of my dreams come true before i move back to Indonesia. I’m praying that u’ll read this among many othersssss…

I was a big NKOTB fan in the 90s and went mad for Jordan! But when you stopped making music and split up, it was okay for me and I didn’t think of killig myself!
I was very happy to hear that you’ll start it all again and that you all look very well and didn’t go astray in this hard business.
Last week I listened to my old NKOTB cassetttes (except the Xmas one) and could still sing along every word with you!
The old songs still sound up-to-date and I think I’m gonna see one of your shows in Germany. Perhaps in January on my 32nd birthday?

I know that I am a Southern Lady, and I love Southern Rock. I don’t know if you guys can do the kind of music like the Black Crowes and Kid Rock that I have loved for years. I doubt if you guys actually read these responses, but I thought I would give it a try. When people are meant to do something that brings joy to over millions of people, it is breath taking. Thats what all five of you do when you sing. I thought your comeback was well planned and at a good time when music is becoming repetitive. I can’t wait for you guys to make it to Tampa Bay, hopefully my friend and I will be able to save enough to be in the nosebleed section, so that we can at least say we fnially went to a NKOTB concert. Our parents didn’t let us back in the day, because they said we were to young or couldn’t afford it. But I think times have changed and we will hopefully be able to go this time. Thank you for the smile you have put on my face.

I am so hyped to listen to the new cd! I was going to fly out from Cincinnati to be at the grand opening of the new Best Buy where you guys will be at August 8th but it had said that you can’t take pics with you all. I was bummed about that. Not to be corny but on my Things I want to do before I die list is to meet you guys. Me and my friend Kim (may she R.I.P.) always wanted to do that. She did not get that chance so I am trying to do that for the both of us. But dane it I want the picture. I want it so I can put it buy her grave to show her that I accomplished one of our dreams. But I will be at the concert in chicago on Oct. 4th so maybe I can try and make things happen then. But keep up the good work and I am so looking forward to the concert! It’s funny cause I have a game called Sing Star rocks the 90’s. Oh yea Step by Step is on there and me and the girls sing it up. Just thought I would share that. Peace Out!
