Means “all 5″ in German.
That’s all I can say in German so far.
We had a blast… a lot of work but having our fans show up
everywhere we go made it a lot easier.
The schnitzel was on point. And we couldn’t believe how tall
everyone was- men and women. Damn! I felt like Ryan Seacrest over there.
So its back to rehearsal and putting together the greatest show on earth
by the “5 hardest working kids in show business”.
Let’s get this!

You are too cute, Joe! I’m glad you guys had a blast there. I have always wanted to go to Germany, including the rest of Europe, especially to see the old castles there among all the other beautiful sites.
BTW–I remember when I was a kid and my dad would tell us words in German and “funf” was my favorite word because it sounded so cool and funny. Hey, I was a little kid.

Dang, they are all tall over there? I’m part German…guess I didn’t inherit that gene. I apparently only inherited the Irish part leprachaun gene because I’m only 4′10″. Nice hearing that having fans around made it easier because I’m one of those people that tries to leave celebrities alone. You get enough attention you know, so just maybe I’ll reconsider finding you guys in San Jose?
Anyway, the German girls did a good job of keeping us all in touch with what you were doing so it didn’t seem like you were gone at all. Keep working hard…I’m looking to seeing an awesome show in October.

Hey joe mac! I’m soo happy that you are finally a daddy. I saw the article in people magazine and I have to say I’ve never seen you so happy. And Griffin is the cutest baby! I know you guys will be wonderful parents to him. As far as pet names go I had a cat who made me leaugh and you make me laugh at all the jokes at your little 100 people shows. So I named her Josephina, I had her for 5 yrs she was a great cat. I also used to have a cat named Jordan. So naming pets after you guys is normal in any country. Can’t wait to see you guys in san diego I know it’s gonna be a great show. But uh there is one thing, what’s with the dancing girls behind you guys? For some reason the blog only lets me respond to Joe’s blogs and nobody else’s. So everything will be here, darn computer! lol For Donnie’s wedding video he found That was great. My friend of 14 yrs got married a few weeks ago and we met in line at a new kids concert. So I thought it’d be funny to dedicate a song to her. So I had the dj play summertime and her and I danced to it like we were a couple….lol It was so great seeing the look on her face and her new husband’s. I caught the bouquet so Jonathan if you are free lets get together! lol But seriously, I’m very happy you guys are doing this, summertime is a great song and I’m wondering too if any of the women in the video are your guys wives. I know the tall blonde on the beach with Joe isnt cuz I know what she looks like. But I dont know what the others look like. Great video by the way, I love the doo wop part with the sunset on the green screen it’s awesome. I already even pre ordered a copy of your cd so when it’s done I can get it the day it comes out and I wont have to fight for one. And just a suggestion, I have noticed that the shirts you sell come in large or extra large. You should sell plus sizes because we have to find iron ons and make our own shirts since you dont sell our size. Just a suggestion. And you guys are all still very HOT and I love the dance moves. It is good to hear that you got back home safely. I was so happy that you came to Germany!!! Till Schweiger is great, isn”t he! We went to Cologne to meet you after the interview on einslive radio station. In fact you have been there 15 or 16 years ago, for an interview with Ingo Schmoll, I still have that on MC! You told him about Frank Sinatra: Yeah, he is my boy! Enough of the old times, back to now! We were really sad that you were not complete in Cologne, only Danny and Donnie were there. But that is ok. We’ve been waiting for so long now, we can wait another half a year to see you! My friends and I will take some days off when you come on tour, so be ready to meet us!!!
You American Fans are so lucky, for you it is only another two months to wait. Please take good care of them. We will do too,when they come over, big promise!
Oh, by the way: I am only one metre sixty tall, and most of my friends too. So there are not only “giant Germans”

Ok so Im waiting and waiting……..I am ready for the new album already. How much longer do we have to wait. Its bad enough I have to wait until Novemer to see you guys in Concert. Patience is not one of my virtues, but I am working on it. This is just the best thing ever you guys getting back together, and I have tickets for one of your concerts. This is like my B-day, Christmas and the rest of the holidays mixed into one day. The only thing that could possible make this better is if I had backstage passes…(hint, hint, lol). We are all desperately trying to win tickets to LA on the 26th. I never got the chance to see you guys in person as a kid (mom said I was too young) so I’m really looking forward to Vegas in October. I read Donnie and Danny’s interview in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung yesterday and since that I’m listening “Click, Click, Click” all day long - you have to release it ASAP, so the media stops talking this “old-boy-band” *ish*

Yeah…Good to hear that you are back, but there are quite a few phrases in German that your fans know that might have behooved you over there!!! They wouldn’t have been very nice phrases to say, though. German was not my best subject in school, but I do remember a few “choice” phrases that came in handy! Work hard. I loved the Ryan Seacrest comment! glad your back safe and sound from Germany always wanted to visit Berlin but I have been to Ireland and London both very beautiful. IM buying a ticket to your Mohegan Sun Performance for Novemver 8th which will be my very first NKOTB concert ever I unfortunately was too young at the time to experience all the concerts which I was only 5 at the time “1987″ and am now 26 who loved you then and still feels the same way about you I feel lightning striked twice and gave us the fans a whole new look and feel.I can’t believe IM all grown up and feel like IM 5 yrs old all over again thank you for this wonderful gift.

Hi Joey, so glad you guys are back! So, my 8 year old daughter can now tell who each of you are just by listening to your songs. I feel like my work is done! A new generation of kids now know who you are, my nieces adore Summertime. As do I, of course! They spent the weekend with us, and all they did the whole time was watch video’s of NKOTB on youtube. Normally I am not OK with these kids just surfing the ‘net, but since they were watching the most amazing band in the WORLD, I thought it was ok. Thought you would like to know that this whole new generation is starting to know and love you just as much as your original fans! Love you all!

Loved the Ryan Seacrest “jab.” Anytime American Idol is on, my boyfriend will joke around anytime the contestants stand next to him ~ my guy will mock the contestants with a voice (oddly, with an Austrian accent) saying “Thank you, Tiny Man.” So, as soon as I read him your blog, he laughed and repeated this little “bit.” hehe ~ maybe you would “have to be here.” Yes, he is a dork ~ a keeper!

Hey guys, it was great to see you in munich, I never thougt I’ll see you anytime, because I never had the chance to go to a concert ( you canceled the one where I had tickets…)
If you read this, maybe you can tell him it was such a pleasure to meet him there, and I would have invited him for a drink, but I really had to go dogwalking, otherwise my carpet would had a problem 
It was like a very old dream came true!! I asked Jon to give you my letter(well, kind of plastic because I had no envelope), and he watched all my old CDs. I didn’t know of his panic attacks, so I hope I did not scare him, disturbing him while smoking

Short but sweet.
I’m thrilled you all had a good time in Germany and are back to rehearsals, safe and sound. Okay that almost made it sound like I should be cracking a whip… lol
I had a really hard day yesterday and I loaded up nkotb.com and said, out loud to myself, that I really needed a new blog post today. And, lo and behold, you blogged. That put a smile on my face, and I just want to thank you for that.
Looking forward to hearing more from you and the other guys, as always. In the meantime, take care, work hard and, I suppose you should probably try to get lots of rest somewhere in there too! I’ll ease up on the whip cracking if it means you’re raring to go in September for all that face time Donnie promised - I’m volunteering you and the other guys to be in on that.

I’m happy you’re all home safe & sound & had a great time In Germany. We’re part German & the guys in my family are tall…one is 6′ & two are 6′ 3″….but the girls are 5′4″ & 5′2″ …that worked out nicely for guys the height of you New Kids. I’m so used to being around such tall guys I was surprised the 1st time I met Jordan…for some reason you seem taller than you actually are. Don’t worry, we love you all just the way you are. I know you’ll be great come fall …I bet you are already ;). Can hardly wait for my 4 shows!!!

Man! Every time I read something about you getting real busy, I think “and now the blogging stops”. ‘Cause I cannot imagine how you’ll find the time to ocasionally leave a message for us, when you have ten thousand other things to do every day. But somehow, you do.
I really like that, you five keeping in touch the way you do. It makes us feel closer to you than we could have ever felt back in the day.
Has anyone ever told you guys how wonderful you are to keep us involved the way you guys do? Yeah, probably a hundred women before me.
Glad you had such a great time in Germany. Did you have a chance to go see a little bit of the country, be tourists, or was it work, work, work all the time?
I really haven’t noticed yet that Germans are so tall. Maybe because the Dutch are tall too (well, all of them, except for me and one or two others) and I got used to backstaring all the time.
Oh, by the way, did you guys catch some sunrays while you were over here, or was it all grey and wet the whole time?

Well, when I first heard about all of this, I didn’t pay much attention. Then, I went back in my mind to days of big hair, big buttons, and my NKOTB sheets. Wow!! What fun that was! I looked as some old videos and then watched “Summertime” and thought, yeah I remember why I thought they were so hot. After a tough few years and a bad divorce, it feels great to feel thirteen again (well, except that I like being all grown up and a woman, not a girl). Thanks for making me smile all over again and see you in October down South (best in the world!!)

I’m so excited about it. My dream is to actually meet you, but I couldn’t afford the price for the meet-n-greet tickets. I’m hoping someday my dream will come true and I actually will get to meet you face-to-face. I’m 35 years old and I’ll be 36 on Dec. 2nd this year. I’ll keep praying for my dream to come true-I’ve been waiting so long. Bums me out that I can’t do it for this tour, but I’m still thrilled that I get to see you guys in concert again! I’m a big fan.
Oh-by the way-I loved you on Dancing with the Stars. I hope to see you there again soon someday! I think you’re really talented. And you can dance really good!

Although I think it’s wonderful that you’re reaching out and contacting your international fans, I can’t help but wonder why everything is so willingly translated into German for those who need it, but your videos aren’t closed-captioned for those who need it…

I met you in 1999 and was one of those girls towering over you but I’m used to that! I actually think I might be taller than all of you guys! I’m 6′ and skinny so I look even taller(hence the name Legs:O) Anyway, wanted to let you know that I was listening to your first ever CD and my favorite song has always been Wanna Be Loved By You. You were SO cute!!! “Yeah, I know, I know, I’m young. I might be young but I’m not too young to tell you how I feel. If you can relate to that then check this out: Oooo girl, I wanna be loved, loved by you baby!” So adorable little Joey. And Donnie’s Lovable Leo part was really cute too. You guys are so adorable and I have loved you since I was 6! Always was hoping you’d get back together. Followed you and Jordan’s solo careers though and still listen to those CDs all the time too! People always thought I was a little crazy. Especially since I sing “Please Don’t Go Girl” and “Cover Girl” at karaoke all the time! LOL If I ever get the chance to meet you guys, I promise I won’t wear heels!! LMFAO

Well, I’m sorry that I couldn’t follow the “Team J” when you were in Germany, but I had to concentrate on “Team D”, as Cologne was the closest city to mine and I was only a few days away from the birth of my daughter (met Donnie and Danny on the 10th, and little Hanna was born on the 15th!!).
Hope to see you next time - and thank you soooo much for everything! You 5 are THE BEST!!
