NEW YORK— June 12, 2008 – In the wake of numerous sold out concerts, NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK made the announcement this week that superstar Epic recording artist NATASHA BEDINGFIELD will be added as a very special guest for the group’s upcoming Fall tour. After initial sell-outs, the tour also added shows this week including a third show in Toronto and a second show in Los Angeles.
Grammy - nominated songstress Natasha Bedingfield - whose albums have sold in excess of 6 million worldwide - heads out on the road in support of her latest album, Pocketful of Sunshine, which has already spawned the platinum hit singles “Love Like This” (featuring Sean Kingston) and the title track “Pocketful Of Sunshine.” A third single will be released later this summer. Natasha’s first album, Unwritten, made her something of an overnight success in the UK and Europe with Top 10 hits, “Single,” “These Words” and “Unwritten.” Bedingfield has taken the U.S. by storm as well as proven with her sophomore album, Pocketful of Sunshine, which debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 upon release, making it the highest album debut of her career. “Unwritten” was the most played song of 2006/2007 and is the theme song for the hit MTV show “The Hills.”

I can’t wait until the new album drops…I’m really excited to hear your new stuff. That’s awesome that Natasha Bedingfield will be opening. She better keep her damn hands off my man, though or they’ll be some payback!!!!! It’s so great to see you guys on stage again. You all look and sound great…especially you, Donnie.

This is great!! I think Natasha Bedingfiend’s song Unwritten kind of represents my feelings about the reunion, so its very fitting IMO! But mostly I just want to see the 5 of you again. Especially Jonathan!

I’m glad to hear that love her music and yeah Thank God its not going to be Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers no defense they’re great but dont wanna be in the audience with bunch of 10 year olds lol. You guys are older now so its good to have another mature musician tour with you. I cant wait for the Atlanta show and hopefully I might be going to the New Orleans show.

Oh my god!! I can’t beleive after all these years you guys are back and you all look really good!. Obviously, I am blogging for the same reasons as everyone else, to tell you all I was so in love with you (20 years ago) and am really excited to see a comeback and you don’t sound to shabby.
Are there any plans to visit Australia, Sydney if you do please because the unfortunate thing was that when I was 14-15 and your biggest fan(like every other screaming girl on the planet) you come to New Zealand it was only in Auckland where I didn’t live, I was distraught for weeks.
One more thing re: “boy band” reunion - watch a movie called Boytown (aussie movie) whenever I watch it I always think of NKOTB - in a good way though.

Very very cool, Natasha has such a beautiful voice and a great stage presence so I’m looking forward to seeing her. Unless those of us with 5 Star VIP packages miss the opening act, anyway! I can’t wait to hear her sing her hits. Love Like This has a similar vibe to Summertime too, so it’s a nice mix!

The performance at the MMVAs was awesome! My 10 years son stayed up to watch you guys sing Summertime (I wasn’t aware of this till the next morning, the draw back to them having a TV upstairs…lol). Wish I could see you guys in concert on September 19th (my birthday!!), but unfortunately we are short on funds right now due to hubby’s illness. Catch ya guys next time! In the meantime keep up the great work!!!! Can’t wait until the ablum comes out!!! So happy you guys are back together!!!
