Hey all!
Sorry it’s been so long since my last post but we have been rehearsing so hard to get ready for the Today Show, Zootopia, and the Kiss Concert. We were doing six to eight hours a day of dance rehearsal, band rehearsal, working out, oh yeah did I mention in between we found time to shoot a video, cut six or seven more songs for the album, and do endless radio interviews to promote our single Summertime?! Now that the shows are finished, it’s really the first time I can catch a quick breath in weeks! Looking back on all the shows, I’d have to say that overall things went pretty freak’n awesome!!!!!!! I am so happy to finally be able to perform for the fans…It’s really the best way to repay all of you for all of the love you show us. The turn out at the Today Show was unbelievable, Zootopia was insane, and performing in our hometown at the Kiss Concert was one of the greatest times of my life!! Today I’m going to finish editing the video for Summertime before I head to the studio with Joey and Jordan to cut a new song. I can’t wait for you guys to see the video, it’s a lot of fun. Thanks again for all you do for us, seeing you at the shows, autograph signings, or even meeting you in the streets is really the best part of all of this. I feed off of your energy and I can’t wait to hit the road.

I was a little too young to see you guys the first time around, but I am really looking forward to seeing you in concert this time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve already listened to “Summertime”. And my 5 year old son loves singing the “oh oh” part! I’m so happy you guys are back!

Hey Donnie!
You had a lot of fans watching you at the Today Show around the world (albeit 2 hours later) via an NBC link… It was fantastic seeing you all together again! Loved the dancing by the way, all those hours of dance rehearsal defintely paid off! I saw you guys in concert 6 times in London in ‘90/’91 and just can’t wait to see you again.
Really looking forward to the Summertime video and all the new music!

Thank you so much for this blog and for all that you do. You guys are all amazing and it brings tears to my eyes knowing how much you truly do care for us, as we do you.

Thanks to you all of us NKOTB fans are reliving one of the best parts of our lives. Words simply don’t describe the feelings that your comebcak have caused. I PRAY THAT THIS IS NOT JUST A ONE TIME, ONE ALBUM, ONE TOUR COMEBACK!!!!!! You are all individually successful, however, what the 5 of you together do is pure MAGICAL. The records the group holds could be just the beginning. You were all younger, and less experienced. Imagine the success you guys could have now that you are all older, wiser, and more experienced. Lord knows, the looks are still there!!!! “Time has definitely been on your sides”. You guys always have been, and always will be “HOT!!!!!” My poor husband
Anyway, I will forever be in your debt for making that drive to Jordan’s house and getting this freight train started. I am definitely in board for the long haul, (along with millions of others I’m sure) I just pray and hope that you guys are as well. We loyal fans, will NEVER let you down. I plan to go to at least 3 meet and greets this tour, no matter what the cost. So, I hope to meet you, and thank you personally for making me feel young and carefree again after so many years.

Donnie — Thanks for blogging again, it’s great to hear from you guys now that the Great Reunion Weekend of 2008 is over! I lined up overnight for the Today Show, met you at Macy’s (you were SO NICE when I was so nervous!), went to Zootopia, and was at Kiss108 as well. It was such an amazing and exciting weekend, and you guys ROCKED IT at all three performances. I never really thought I’d ever have the chance to be at a New Kids concert — I never went in the heyday — and to have that come true three times in one weekend and get to meet you all on top of that was more than I ever would have wished for and almost too much to stand. You all have grown and matured and in some ways haven’t changed a bit, and being here for the second go ’round is truly sweet. I can’t wait for the Summertime video (I play the song on my I-pod and request it on the radio constantly), will see you guys on tour in the fall (I have IZOD 5* VIP and am determined to go to the MSG show), and anxiously await whatever else may be coming up! LOVE YOU!

We’ll say it again, Donnie: THANK YOU! My feelings are best summed up by a thank you I posted to you and the guys after the Today Show on Friday:
Thank you so much for being you. Seeing you all together again today, doing what we all loved all those years ago and being the people we love was magical. It sounds so sentimental, and that’s because it is! You brought back to life a piece of my heart. You actually made memories come alive today, and that is something I’ve never experienced before. It is like a dream mixed with reality. It’s crazy…so crazy that I feel compelled to formally write this down just to communicate how much you moved me and to thank you for that. The feelings you stirred up in me (and all of us I know) today were so unexpected and so pure. Joey said you all could get weepy talking about how you feel, and so could I!
Thank you for being the same people you were all those years ago. The mannerisms, personal styles, personalities and your hearts are what they always were. And it’s not something stagnant and dated and put on, but rather it’s all beautiful and full of life and fresh. It’s a comfort to know that you were indeed being your real selves all those years ago and that the love we invested in you wasn’t on something false. Thank you for just being you and putting yourselves out there for us. The sweet sweet reunion of old friends for sure. It is truly magical.

What a way to start the morning…to see a blog from you :-). The timing is kind of funny because I put out a plea in your forum by posting a thread that we needed a Donnie Blog #2.
I had tears in my eyes watching your performance at the KISS concert (thank goodness for live streaming!!). I knew you were happy performing on stage again when I saw you at the L.A. show and watched on TV for the “Today” show but it was when you guys got to Boston that I saw it come full circle for you. The stage has missed you, Donnie. There are no other performers out there like you.
I got a little giddy when you mentioned the editing of the “Summertime” video. I love knowing that you are that involved and have that much control in this process. I wish that I could be in the editing bay to see how your eye works. Shoot, I would love to be your shadow for a day and just soak up and learn from you.
I am so looking forward to the show at Staples Center. I am hoping with all my heart that I get to meet you again. I wil also be making the journey to Las Vegas & maybe San Diego. Can you use those good vibes that you have to hope for me that the wheelchair accessible seating isn’t out in Timbuktu? LOL.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again (and apparently I’m not the only one…thank you for coming back to music. I always hoped/wished that you would come back someday even if it was to produce another artist but to see the singer/performer back as well makes me so happy for you that I have no words. It also makes me smile to know that you are starting to get producing credits in the film industry. I’m referring to the TNT drama and I’m sure there are many more to follow.
I respect you so much, Donnie. I can’t wait to see where the future takes you.

My emotions are getting the best of me after reading your blog. Donnie you are an amazing man. It is uncanny how you can read our minds. I’ll be at the IZOD 10 rows from the stage! I can’t wait. Gonna try & make it to MSG as well. Your performance on the Today Show was awesome. We were right in the front, left side of stage. I have never cried so much because I’m happy in my entire life. I hope you guys realize how much this reunion means to us. And I think the thing that means the most is knowing that you guys care about your fans so much. Watching the KISS concert on my computer felt amazing. It’ll be even better when the entire audience consists of fans.
I think this reunion means so much more than just taking us back to our younger days. I’ve typed out several ways to explain how I feel about the reunion, and each time it was so cheesy, I had to delete it.

Thank you first of all for your blog, it has been a while and for good reason! Though I was unable to be at any of the east coast shows due to me being on the west coast I still enjoyed watching it on the internet! Gotta love the technology!! Your performances were great!! Everything I have ever dreamed you guys would do when (I always knew you would get together again.) you got together you have done so far. I originally had planned on going to the Salt Lake show this November…even though I will be less than two weeks from my due date…but…thinking about past shows and the fans…the craziness of the fans…well, I don’t really want to be the first NKOTB fan to give BIRTH at a NKOTB concert. I already got some cracked ribs from being squished against the rail in the front row, back in the day.
So—something to consider, not just for me but all the fans that won’t be able to attend the show…how about filming a concert and releasing it on DVD once the tour is over????? Please????? I’m just dying here than I can’t go.

And most especially, THANK YOU FOR GIVING US THESE PIECES OF YOU! I say this to all five of you! I’ve never heard of such interaction between artists and fans, and I doubt I ever will again. God i love you guys!!!! By the way great song, “Summertime” and hearing a little bit from the song “Click” makes me want to dance like a mad woman the way i used to dance to your earlier stuff, i can say that its probably gonna be one of my favorites but yet again ALL YOUR SONGS ARE MY FAVORITE!!! Usually, whenever any artist(s)comes out with an album, only 2-3 songs are the strong points of the album while the others suck, but not you guys, all your songs are great and all your fans including ME know every word, every lyric, every beat, every chord. Also, even though you guys branched out in solo careers and acting, we your fans were there to watch it happen and happy to see you guys do your thing, yet the hope of seeing you guys unite is priceless and very fullfilling. Any other group trying to unite in the future would never compare to you guys. Let’s just see NSYNC or the BackStreet guys try, no one is gonna give a poop lololol and thats b/c you guys are the originators and true to your fans and each other. Good Luck touring, from the looks of it, you guys are giving it your all as usual and you totally put your lives on hold for us. I’m tired from looking at it, as if i would be performing lolol, you guys are touring non stop from city to city, dont know how you guys will do it, but none of your fans doubt you for a second. You have no idea how many people are walking on air right now from hearing your message. It feels good to know that you care about us and don’t (well at least not completely) think we are absolutely crazy, or if you do that at least you are entertained by it. You guys are the best. Wish you were coming to Oklahoma!! Dallas & KC look like the closest you will be which is not good for my 12 & 9 yr old daughter’s who are HUGE fans too. They will have to stay home. They used to look at me crazy when I would play the old school songs (before Joe’s puberty! Try explaining that one to a 9 yr old girl!!)Now that they have heard “Summertime” you guys are “Super Cool” to them. Anyway, Thank you guys so much for the reunion. I watched the Today Show concert on tv way up here in Fort Smith, NWT Canada, and when you said new concert dates, I raced to my computer and checked it out, and Edmonton, AB was listed!!! Thank you soooo much…now I am making arrangements to get the girls together (we live throughout Alberta and NWT) to see the concert that is one day before my 34 bday…what a gift!!! Then I am off with my 4 yr old son to Cali to do the kid thing and plan on seeing you again in San Diego!!! Thank you again for coming back, making my teenage dreams come true…and I can’t wait to see you guys live in concert…and if all goes well, I will also do the VIP…

I didn’t get to go to the Today show cuz I have a disabled daughter and it’s not so easy to find a qualified sitter but I made SURE I saw it on TV when it came on. I am going to the September show at IZOD Center here in NJ and hoping to go to the Madison Square Garden one in October. I only hope I spot you guys escaping after the show (cuz I have never been so lucky!) and can get a pic or an autograph! You guys are awesome! Thanks for keeping us up to date. Taking the time out of your busy schedule to keep us updated, really means a lot… and really feeds our excitement even more!
The sold out shows, the Today Show turnout and the hyperactivity on your message board should show you that you have made an impact on so many lives. It’s not just about entertainment… it’s much more than that. I can’t even put it into words, really. The only analogy that can come close to explaining this is that you guys are like the Pied Pipers and we’re the freakin’ rats! LOL I know that sounds stupid, but so many of us feel this gravitational pull toward you and cannot seem to help ourselves.
On a side note: I have to say that I’m soooo happy to see “music Donnie” back. I’ve loved your movies and interviews all these years (except for Saw II - HOLY CRAP I couldn’t watch that happen to you. LOL), but I’ve missed crazy Donnie. I was worried that he was gone forever, but this last weekend’s shows proved otherwise! It’s good to see that you all still have your humor and your charm.
Hope you guys add TONS more dates. Have fun, but take care of that hip. :p

Thank you for your blog post. It means so much to us the fans that you take the time to update us and say the most beautiful things of total overwhelmingness…if that’s a word…!
You guys haven’t stopped amazing me since the moment I found out about the reunion. You guys treat the fans in a way I’ve never seen any band do before. Your love and appreciation is so obvious and it’s just so unusual and refreshing and it makes the last 14 years of waiting so worth it. Just look at all the posts here, see how emotional you make us all? That must feel wierd…but hopefully in a cool way.
Like someone else here, I smiled broadly when I read that you’re editing the video today. I did some editing today too
It made me feel kinda close to you knowing that while I was sitting in a messy edit suite using Avid, that you might have been doing the same thing across the pond 
I hope it went well and that you’re having fun. That is after all the most important thing - that you guys have fun and enjoy yourselves. That’s all we want. Well, that and cuddles 
I watched the Today show on the internet streaming 2 hours after the event…sitting at my desk in an office full of people, with my phone off the hook, the volume up on my monitor, and a tissue in my hand - they must have all thought I was a complete nutcase!! But it just filled me with such joy to see you guys performing together again at last. i just can’t describe the feeling. Donnie, guys - we have missed the 5 of you being together so much and I’ll say it again - thank you.

Omg it was awesome seeing you guys on the Today Show! I still got the chills when yall started singing. I was on my way to work and could not pull myself from the TV..I was late to work and made my 12 year old late to school cuz i just could not pull my self away. I told her LOOK BABY ..this was my fav band when i was like what 10-11 years old . I am about to be 29 and my friends and I are looking forward to ur San Antonio Show..we will be driving from Austin…I hope 96.7 kis fm is giving away backstage passes..it would be so great to be able to meet you. I was at the Kiss Concert and you guys rocked the place! By far the best performance of the night…I was actually down in front of the stage with my little sister-who is only 16 but LOVES NKOTB now!! I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few months getting her to see what I saw in you guys all those years ago. She knows all of your old stuff and your new stuff now!
Thank you for putting in so much time and effort into everything you are doing right now. Make sure you take the time to enjoy the experience…your fans have missed you and we’re so happy that you’re back!

All I can say is THANK YOU!!! to all of you really… You guys have inspired me SO MUCH!!! I am now looking at life in a whole new way now… before I’ve had hard times and just let myself get down now I look at the five of you and say “WOW!! If they can come back after all this time and still be GREAT (that word doesn’t even begin to describe it), then I think it’s time I stop feeling down and do something w/ my life. This reunion is so important to all of your fans. You were there for us during our most impressionable years. It’s funny to me how those old emotions come rushing back everytime I see you perform, or listen to your songs, and they’re just as strong as they were all those years ago.
It’s so awesome to have something postive, and fun to think about these days, I’m so thankful to all five of you for coming back and letting us have this fun all over again.
Keep up the hard work, it’s so worth it.

WOW!! There’s something I want you to know…. on this blog, the fans have come together and it’s a whole new experience for us this time around. We can connect with each other and we relate to each other’s stories about what you guys have meant to us over the years. And most importantly, come to the realization that we actually aren’t crazy in love, that there’s other people out there who feel the same way.
We can watch old footage of you guys or the concerts you performed on YouTube, whereas before, we had to pop in our VHS tapes and search for the goods which were so crappy from being played OVER and OVER! LOL The tape never had a chance. I know I’m dating myself, but you guys “get it” and that’s just the best.
One of the reasons you guys mean so much to all of us is that we KNOW that you guys love us as much as we love you. It’s a reciprocal thing. It’s magic to be able to make each and every one of us feel special about being along for the journey, even though most of us have never met you (YET!) How do you do it? Staying humble, I know, but that’s a tall order in your business, and especially with the amount of fame you’ve all had. You guys really DID have amazing parents and families to turn out the way you have. Especially considering the amount of women that want to be with you… it’s just incredible how good you make us all feel. How you keep a small head about it… I just don’t know.
We all feel individually special too, and that’s just incredible. By the way, whomever made the decision to include meet and greets on your tour is the most wonderful person in the world. We are just beside ourselves that even if it’s only for a brief second, we get to actually meet you! That’s HUGE! It’s a dream that many of us had, and to be able to fulfill a dream is one of the greatest gifts in life. I was too young to go around chasing the tour busses or tracking down your hotel rooms back in the day, and I always wished I could be a part of that. This time I do, just in a more adult way. LOL
We are also trying to keep each other in line so that we don’t end up burning you guys out again. That’s one of the biggest concerns with us fans, is that we don’t cross the line and upset family member’s privacy or whatever the case may be. Plus, we are all a little more mature than we were then - ALTHOUGH, you have made us revert to twelve year olds again, so I’m not sure how adult I’m going to act when I meet you… so we’ll have to see just how much we actually HAVE grown up! LOL
We’re seriously discussing how NOT to act like an idiot when we meet you. To actually have to verbally remind ourselves not to scream (when was the last time I did?) is hilarious! And weird! But it’s true, we’ve all gone absolutely BONKERS!
It’s really interesting how much we all think alike too. Everything I’ve wanted to say to you has been said a thousand times before me. Everything I’ve felt has been experienced before me, and as much as we all want to seem “original” we are soooooo alike. There’s nothing I could say that hasn’t been said before, but I still feel it, and I’m still going to try to say something original when I meet you. It’ll probably come out as completely inaudible! We have all overcome some type of adversity at the age we were… it was your tapes played over and over that made us think everything would eventually be okay.
We are just so grateful for this experience. Since we loved you so much at that age, you’ve become part of who we are right down into our souls, so with this reunion, you’ve sparked parts of our souls that have been kind of dormant for so long. It’s a beautiful thing. I love you for it, more than I can ever express to you. Thank You a thousand times, Thank You!
I love that you came back with the original name, too. I like the abbreviation, but you’ll always be the New Kids to me.
Donnie, you are the man I dream about every night when I go to sleep, and the first thing i think of in the morning is you. Damn you are one sexy man!

Anyways in some weird way I felt I was there when I watched, and was doing a lot of dancing, crying tears of joy, and just being overwhelmed at how large that crowd looked. When you guys sang Tonight, I totally lost it!! Btw, that is my four year old daughters favorite song, that and Summertime. She has a huge crush on you and Jordan lol..though that may have come from Mommy. I hope to be able to see you guys perform live, and I will be trying to get tix to see you all in DC that is if the gas prices don’t go up much more!
Oh yeah, and I have to agree with Joey when he said in some weird way it was like you guys have never left. It’s just so friggin’ awesome!! Thank you guys so much for bringing so much more happiness into my life

Thanks for the kind words Donnie. The anticipation for the Today Show was crazy and watching all 5 of you guys perform together again was surreal. I was pinching myself watching you on tv saying “Is this for real?” because it has been too long. Now it will be complete torture waiting for fall to arrive and to see you guys in concert.
Thank you for this reunion. I HOPE to one day have the opportunity to meet you all in person, although it seems a bit impossible. I’ll just have to keep dreaming about it. Thanks again and can’t wait to see you guys in San Antonio!

Hey Donnie!! So glad you posted on here again! I cannot wait to see the new video and I’m really looking forward to the release of the album. You guys were awesome on the Today Show. I can’t wait to see you all in AC at the Borgata. My friend and I are beyond psyched. We are still in awe that you are back together with the guys, putting a new album out, doing videos and most importantly, TOURING!! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am !!! I’m 23 years old which means i was about 4-6 yrs old when you were at the peek of your career and was to young to attend any type of concerts !!! My mother bought me all the videos and records and i would dance and sing to the songs wishing one day I would be able to see you in concert and now I have the chance and I want to thank you because My Dreams of being able to see you all have come true!!

It’s almost surreal seeing you guys back together again just as it must feel the same for you. You say you feed off our energy I think we feed off your energy as well and all the energy is positive. I think that you guys truly do care for your fans and think its amazing how grounded you seem to be, regardless of the amount of success you have had, thats a great quality. Words can not explain the LOVE that your fans from 20 years ago still have for you. Having you all back is such a great thing even for the teenagers in this generation. Donnie you say that many of us thank you coming back when you meet and greet, but you thank us more because we welcomed you all back with so much love and our arms were wide open. You are so right, but that is beccause the love never died and you see it all over again. 15-20 years ago THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK left a musical footprint in our hearts AND we never forgot the steps or the lyrics. Donnie!!! Wow - the very fact that there is the slightest possibility that you could read this is AMAZING. I am blown away by the comeback! You guys look fantastic - Summertime is an absolute wonder; classic NKOTB! I love Click x 3. It sums this reunion up pretty much - it’s like Covergirl grew up into to Click, Click, Click. Ohmigosh!!! I LOVE technology! Would that we had the internet and blogs when I was in high school (although maybe it’s a good thing - I may never have graduated otherwise!).
Thanks also for adding that extra show in Toronto - I was devastated to find out the first show had sold out before I could get tickets! I have waited almost 18 years to be able to see NKOTB in concert - never got the chance (I grew up in Dubai!). This is absolutely thrilling. I don’t care if I look or seem like a deranged lunatic - I just hope I don’t pass out ;o)

If someone had told me a year ago that I would be sitting home on a Saturday night watching the Hanging Tough Live Concert Video a year ago I would’ve never believed. I was one of your young fans - I am 28 now, but everything has come back to me like it was yesterday. I LOVE Summertime and have listened to the clip of Click Click Click on the site and am sooo excited for the album. You guys are the best. I feel like I’m in the 6th grade again. I have been watching the KISS concert live on the net when it was already after 3 in the morning overhere in AMSTERDAM. The Today show I got to see even 2 hours after the live show on the net. And with everybody on this site it makes it even more fun to watch, knowing that you are not the only one smiling all day because of you guys coming back in everyones life like óld friends’.
It is so nice to see that you as a group and we as the fans are equaly enjoying this experience.

you guys (especially you) were really awesome on the Today Show today. I have it on my DVR and my 4yr old daughter and I watch it everyday. She loves listening to you too, the next generation! I was so excited when I saw that you are coming to Ohio in october. I cannot wait!

hi me again lol just one more thing, if you guys do make it over here you have to have meet and greet’s over here omg from the age of 11 iv been dreaming of it, i came close in 1994 when you guys were here it was friday 11th of march 1994 and it was freezing and there was little me all of 13 years old lol and anout 100 other girls all staying at side yr hotel in london lol, but this time round i think il just get a meet and greet lol much warmer and hay il be able to see you guys face to face rather than being stuck inbetween 100’s of screaming gi
