    Congratulations, NKOTB!!!

You deserve all the good that’s coming your way. There is a question that I have been wondering…Can you guys OFFICIALLY tell us what this is all about? Will you officially call it a comeback? Or are we still talking of a reunion? Either way, I will support all of you to the end, but curiosity is killin’ me!!! C’mon, tell us!!!

  2. mdillon77 Says:

Gonna ride this ride as far as it can go!!!

  3. Shelley335 Says:

Wow!! John Norris! I have watched John since Mtv started and I remember seeing him interview you guys way back in the day. To read this interview NOW just blows me away. All of us have grown since those days. I am so excited for this new chapter you guys are taking and I am more excited that you have welcomed us all back into your lives. You five are always going to be a constant in my life (maybe six, including John Norris :) ) I love you guys!! Thanks for the interview John!

This has been a long time coming and I am over the moon! Looking
forward to taking this ride with you guys!

    Love to you all!

“…but Wahlberg — ever the heart, soul, conscience and mouthpiece of the New Kids…”

God, never was a truer statement made. I love you all so much. It’s as though each of you plays your own “role” (but not an acting role) in this whole big crazy thing. Each one of you is as important as the other and without one of you, it would all feel incomplete. I love that, now, after all these years, the fans and critics can look back on all of this and see how Donnie was right… “the honest truth, in my opinion, about how we came together is that it was destiny”.

    Much love,
    Natasha.

  9. gidget Says:

The interview was great! It’s nice to know that all of you are in control of the situation, and you did this on your on terms. You deserve that. Summertime is a great song. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. Thanks for the trip down memory lane…it’s been fun! All of you still bring butterflies after all these years, a husband, and two kids later! Now that’s intense!

  10. jusgirl20 Says:

Keep it up guys!!! You are making me more and more excited about your concerts in the fall! I love you guys!!!

  12. hb79 Says:

I love it! If some kind person is able to put that video clip onto youtube that would be great as us people in UK aren’t able to view it :( I also love that description of Donnie “…but Wahlberg — ever the heart, soul, conscience and mouthpiece of the New Kids :)

  13. kimberdancer Says:

    Dear NKOTB~

This is amazing! I’m in the middle of watching this, and I’m thinking this may be a milestone moment in the music industry…AGAIN! They are in this for the right reasons, and I’m seeing it more and more. I know they are doing it because they are artists and want to make some money, but that’s the thing: they’re artists! Artists that love their fans and want us to be happy while remaining true to the art (and earning a little cash:)….

I cannot wait for the new album. The anticipation is exciting, and I know that’s what they’re going for. To see Jon Norris interview them…I truly feel I’m in an in-between world. It’s new, it’s fresh, it’s now, yet being human, we have those connections to the past, and I love how they’re acknowledging that and putting it all together!

You have to continue the oh oh dance; fellows, there is no way around that one! I have it memorized, so if I make it to a live show, don’t think I won’t be dancing right along with you:) This was a great interview, and we thank you for sharing!

Please come see us in either Nashville, Knoxville, or Charlotte (preferebly on a weekend date because I’m a teacher…wait, am I being selfish:) If I don’t see you live this round, I will catch you on tape..ugh…dvd;) I will support you all that I can! Hey, if you make doggie tshirts, I’ll make sure my dogs, Phoebe & Abbey, sport their NKOTB love, too!!!!! I could so work for your PR department…..uh! selfish again:)

Anyway, thank you for all that you’re doing!!!!! Sante (to your health in French)! to the 5 hardest working men in the “biz!” I look forward to many other special moments….

    Love & blessings,

  14. Queen of Scots Says:

    What a great interview!

  15. miss_ava Says:

It’s good that MTV is actually listening to us. Thank GOD it was with John Norris & not James Montgomery. Donnie D, if you ever go toe-to-toe with James, rest assured that you will have an army backing you up. I got my ammo ready for ya! Haha!! Love your hands! ;)

  16. rockergirl Says:

LOVE IT! The article and the video are wonderful! I am even more excited for the album now that we know MORE song titles! It was great seeing the guys speak out on the music, fans, and recent performances! :)

  17. Kelley Says:

I loved watching that interview–to those who may not realize it, it keeps loading more segments as you go. Make sure you watch all of them.

You know what’s funny about watching you guys all together again is… I’m used to watching you all separately talking about your lives and the world and I GET that we are all in 2008, nobody’s stuck back there in 1988 by any means. But when I watch you together (up until now), it IS back then, it IS real retro videos, and so it’s all like this time warp. Suddenly the five of you are talking and hanging out and you’re bringing up Britney and Chris Crocker and TMZ and all this stuff (”not Walkmans” as Donnie said!) that is so NOW, and it’s the weirdest feeling to see “NKOTB” in the now. To have watched you all grow and then come back together again is a blessing, seriously. I adore every single one of you and I can’t wait to finally meet you and see you all on tour.

I’m buying those Detroit VIP tickets tomorrow… Wish me luck!

  18. coach-corrie-in-florida Says:

I remember back in the days the interviews they were nothing like today> I have to say I have much respect and admiration toward you guys now then back in the day. This is your move, your show, and your tour, but it’s for us the fans who have been there through the years and have never forgot the goodol’ days.
    Love and much Respect

  20. jordangirl Says:

I am just so glad that you guys came together on your own yearning not on other people’s ideas or demand.

I know this is the perfect timing for you to return to the music scene! You are mature and now have the experience of different things in this crazy world, and us as fans had time to grow up and hit those aspirations and fulfill those desires of life!
Now we are oh, so ready as adults to enjoy the entertainment you have to offer us now!!! Love it!!! Thank you for the great effort and time you are putting into all of this! Also I love the twist on the old songs they are so today and love it and not too far from the old stuff!!!!

    Thank you! Thank you!

  22. Gail JK Lady Says:

Ahhhw Jordan, you were so sweet when they embarrassed you. Good for you speaking your mind about the young stars.I couldn’t have agreed more……And as for your Baby I Believe In You performances, it was beautiful as well as sexy…never cheesy. You know if you performed that, that way, during the tour, you’d probably bring the house down & definitely make every fan at the venue extremely happy…and you know you’re in shape to do it! ;)

I finally got VIP5* tickets. So I’ll see you all in St Louis at the Meet & Greet. I’m so happy…I’ve been smiling for the past almost 6 hours :D! Gail

I agree with Gail. Jordan can do the Baby I believe in You segment again. This time it will be appreciated in a whole new way. That part of the concert has stuck with my sister and I more than any all these years. Nothing to be shy about now!

  29. bestknightfan Says:

it’s a very good interview but i would love more if this conversation coulb be play in mtv. mtv back then had a lot of popularity because of you. i understand you are not kids anymore and not able to do the same but you deserve at least a special program about the reunion!!
i’m from mexico, we have mtvla and it’s different………i think we can change that.
    Don’t forget México, pls!!!

You guys are sooo awesome! I am now 23 yrs. old and I still love you guys like I did when I was 5 yrs old! I am so stoked that you guys are back! :)

  33. ddaniels Says:

Hey Joe, Jordan, Jon, Donnie and Danny,
I just watched your interview with John Norris and I wanted to tell you I am soooooooo sorry! I am the fan (the tall red-head) that they Today Show showed singing The Right Stuff instead of showing your signature moves! Although it was awesome to be on TV, I feel so bad because they didn’t wind up capturing your “moment”! Please forgive me!
    Daari

  34. Roma_NKOTB Says:

Nice, positive interview. MTV is trying to get in good with you guys after all those sarcastic articles! Those with their negativity need to go back to kindergarten to learn some of the basic lessons in life…”If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Thanks MTV…for saying something nice! :)It is unforunate that The TODAY SHOW missed the “OH OH DANCE” b/c I was looking for that moment on TV too. (Although I was there, I was too far back in the plaza to see it.) Well, you guys will have many more opportunities to do it. THANK GOD FOR NKOTB! :) :) :) :) :)
