Hello Jon,

Let me start by saying that im very excited that you guys are back and that you are coming to Holland.

You have always been my favourit kid on the Block and always will be.

I knew when you left he group all those years ago that it had to do with your health and later i heard you had panic attacks. I recently saw the video of you and Jordan on the Oprah show and saw how bad your panic attacks actually were. My heart broke when i saw you and I just wanna say how great it feels that you are back and i hope you feel oke.

We love you over here in Holland and I hope to see you and the other guys in february. I wish you lots of luck and health and stay strong. We love you!!!!

Jon,
Thanks so much for getting back together. I have pretty muh loved you all for my entire life. When Hangin’ Tough came out, I was 4 years old! You all had such a huge impact on me and how I felt about music and now I have the oppertunity to share that experience with my kids (although only 2, my son loves you too).

I also want to extend a thank you for putting yourself out there for all of the t.v specials. I hate to hear of the things you went through after the break-up. However, it seems as though you came through that standing tall and you seem like such a great person. I really hope to meet you some day. It is so great to hear your story because it is stories like yours that can really inspire people.

Thanks again and have fun while seeing the world again!

I am still in shock. I didn’t even know you guys were getting back together until my 10 1/2 year old daughter said, “Mom! You gotta hear this song!” I had a mom moment,and thought,”OMGSH I’m old!” That was my first reaction, besides telling her that ya’ll were my favorite group when I was a kid. I am hoping that she will enjoy your music as I did, and add it amongst her Hannah Montana and Jonas brothers favorites. You got to love children.

Just wanted to say that I think what you’re doing with the group is great. I feel kinda weird sending u a message since I don’t know u, but when I saw ur Summertime vid on VH1 this morning I FREAKED! I texted all my friends, blogged on mySpace…nuts I know. It was a funny feeling. I caught the video after the intro so, at first, I just thought Joe was doing a solo. Then I saw all the members appear 1 by 1 and by the time it got to you I actually screamed at the top of my lungs! I just couldn’t believe it. It brought back all the old memories growing up…I’m 27 now but I still remember dancing with my sister in my room to your albums. You were always our favorite. I’m gonna stop now cause I’m sure I sound CRAZY. I’m gonna have to convince my sis to catch a concert with me in LA. Good Luck with everything and be sure to enjoy it this time around cause u ROCK!

Let me start by saying that I am so proud of you. I suffered from anxiety attacks myself but never to the level you have. What you are doing is simply amazing! Now, way back when, I BEGGED my mother to let me go to a New Kids concert! Her response (it still haunts me): “you are too young (I was 10), maybe in a few years”. That was in 1990 and somehow I knew that I would never get to see you guys performing live. Now here I am, 28 years old and in my second year of college (hey, at least I went back right?) and don’t need permission from mom! Fantastic!! I cannot wait to see you guys in concert; I have been waiting for a very long time!

First of all this is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. But I thought if you did this on OPRAH. I can do this here. I am a single mother of a deaf son. I am extremely proud of him. He is my world. I have been ridden with panic attacks, ptsd, and did, since I was a child. You where a catalyst for change for me. I decided I HAD to change. I had been so panic stricken I had lost a place to live and my car. I was afraid to live. I was a hermit. My son has been with my Pastor and his wife for the past year but just recently I got the help I needed. I am amazed by the changes I am making. I am on meds now. I am seeing a therashrink regularly. I have lost 37 pounds and am now able to look people in the face at least people i know. Strangers its still hard. I find if I get panicky with others I “play” deaf and start signing to them and they leave me alone. Any way thanks for being our catalyst for change.

I know you will never read this and you probably won’t really care. But I had to at least give you a chance to let you know that it did matter what you did. It wasn’t done in vain. We appreciate your courage for speaking out. We would have lost our son if you hadn’t have done that. I truly believed you helped not only me but my son as well. Thanks. Brandy

Well, let me just say how glad I am that you came back. I was sad that you left the group early. I didn’t get that until I saw you on OPRAH back in ‘01. I felt so bad for you. I have the same thing. I can’t even speak in front of a group more than like 20. It gets hard at times, plus there’s no one else in my family like that (they all ABSOLUTELY LOVE being center of attention). Jon, I am so glad to see you back! You’ve been out of the spotlight waaaaaaaay too long. Let me point out that 40 looks great on you! WOW! You have always been my favorite New Kid. It wouldn’t have been the same if you weren’t a part of this. I went to my first NKOTB concert with my younger sister at King’s Island in Ohio (I believe it was the summer of ‘88). I was hooked from that point on. Now 20 years later I get to enjoy the thrill of it all again. I’m also 40 so this is alot of fun for me! I know it must be a blast for you! I can’t wait to see you all in St. Louis. I have VIP tickets so I hope I get thank you face to face then. You really need to bring the show to Lexington, KY or Knoxville, TN. Hey Jon!

When I first heard of the rumors of the NKOTB reunion, I was sure it wasn’t true. Then when I found out it was happening, the FIRST person I thought of was YOU. I still remember watching you on OPRAH back in 2001 with Jordan and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. As great as a New Kids reunion is, I sincerely wish you all the health and prosperity as you embark on this new chapter of your life. You have so many fans supporting you and this time, we know the REAL Jon, we have all heard about your past, and we have seen it with our eyes on TV. Always follow your gut because your fans will always support you no matter what, so if you EVER feel the need to take a step back, then do it. I’m sure you have noticed that with the wide reception yourself and the rest of the crew got, you still have a very loyal fan base. I guess what I’m trying to say is, take care of yourself buddy, do it for yourself before you do it for anyone else cause at the end of the day, your health is what matters the most. I really hope that whatever anxiety you had with performing back in the ‘good old days’ has passed and that you are you ready and fit to perform again, but if you EVER feel the need to pull out, I think you should cause no matter what we love you and this time we understand the circumstances.

I’m sticking with this “technology challenged” theory. I am aware of it but just don’t get into it. I spent some time on YOU TUBE trying to witness some of the things I obviously missed (and missed throughout the years….hmmmm!). I caught you on Oprah and my heart just wants to break for you. I don’t pretend to know what it’s like, because I have no idea - I can just tell you that I read what you wrote and now I “re-read” what you wrote and it’s so much clearer. Well i’m a die hard NKOTB fan since i was a kid, i used to go to all the concerts and had all the merchandise. I had wall to wall and ceiling to floor posters and pictures from magasines, i had all the concert books, tapes, videos and i even watched the cartoon. I’ve watched hours of interviews and followed the solo careers. Glad to see that a reunion is now a reality. I just hope that with Jonathan, he is comfortable enough and strong enough to handle the panic attacks that have plaged his life for so long. Stay strong and remember that we are all there for you all, your bringing back our past and making it our future, and letting the kids of this generation get a look and feel for what we had. Caught your show on Opera and have to say, that much limelight, that many people, all of that is pretty intimidating to a 16 year old.

Don’t ever forget we do care about each and every one of you boys up there, and even 15 years has never ended that. You 5 are living the dream a lot of kids had and have done ground breaking work and it is great to see you all back with us once again. Everyone that is there looking at you and your friends and family on stage are your support, because we invited all of you into our lives and have held on to that for years. ((gasps)) I JUST realized that today is a month that I was in NY!!! LOL, sorry…had to get that off my chest, as I really JUST NOTICED RIGHT NOW.

I hope that you are doing well and that you are not letting some stuff get you down. I think that in the great scheme of things, when you look back on this experience (after years and years of touring, of course ;)) the “bad” stuff might actually turn out to be less important than the “GREAT” stuff! At least that is what I hope that you will be able to take with you. We all love you and wish you nothing but the best, always.

I also hope that you don’t feel overwhelmed with our “concern” for you. I know that you are an adult that knows how to handle his life. However, I don’t think that we mean it that way. At least I don’t. My concern comes from the fact that I know what you are going through, because I’ve been there. I also know that the “adult” thing to do is to walk away from whatever it is that is hurting or bothering you, and I would be so sad that you became so overwhelmed that you decided to call it quits, just because of that. I am not assuming that is what you would do, just sharing with you one of my “concerns”.

I saw the MuchMusic performance online… WOW. Absolutely amazing and it brought tears to my eyes because as the saying goes: “You don’t really know a great thing, until you lose it” (I think that is how the saying goes…)

Seeing you guys back on the stage has brought back all that was beautiful in my life, and you guys were one of the most important aspects of my life back then (possibly THE most important thing in my life.) It is a little overwhelming sometimes to realize that you are back, and I get to experience it all over again. I don’t feel like I ever lost you, because as Donnie mentioned on one of the radio interviews…we professed to love you forever as kids…all these years later, you all can see we meant it. It sure puts a new perspective in listening to what kids have to say, doesn’t it? As an adult, even though I was part of it all…I am still shocked that I, who always thought I gave up too easily on so many things, have loved you (meaning YOU AND THE GUYS TOO;)) for TWENTY ONE YEARS! Talk about commitment! But it has all been so easy. You all make “loving you forever” seem like a piece of cake, with all that you do, all that you are and all that you give back to those who loved you then, love you now, and will forever love you.

I’m so glad that you’ve decided to be part of this reunion. NKOTB wouldn’t be the same without you. I can’t imagine how tough it must be for you to get in front of an audience due to your panic attacks, but I’m so thankful to you for doing it. It makes us love and appreciate you even more. Just a little side note, while all my friends had crushes on your brother and Joey, you were always my favourite. I’m so glad I had great taste back then, because let me tell you, you look absolutely gourgeous at 39.

We all love you guys! I’m SO excited you are making a come back. You guys are the best “boy” band ever! I am a little upset…you aren’t coming anywhere near where I live. Come to Dayton or Cincy OH soon!!! Also, one last comment. I’m upset it’s still the same three up front & shown in the entire video & getting all the props. Jon & Danny are the best out of all 5.
