We just finished The Today Show and I can’t believe how incredible the fans were today!!! The LOVE was crazy!!!! If anyone watched on TV…Believe me it was COLD and WET!!! So, to have so many people come out for hours and hours to support us was very humbling. We are really lucky to have our fans behind us after all this time.
That said…
I do have mixed feelings about appearing on the show.
Obviously the response was great and I am happy for that. I was, however, very frustrated that we could not lead with our new music first!!! We’ve been working so hard on this album and I am personally so proud of what we’ve done.
I can only say this-
To all the loyal fans out there…
To all the folks who are not fans but maybe curious…
And even to the skeptics…
This album will be well worth the wait.
We obviously want this experience to be great for ourselves, but it is really important to us that it is a great experience to all of our supporters. The only way we can repay you is to give you the best that we have.
So for now…You will not see me again until you have heard NEW MUSIC!!!!!

I am very anxious to hear what you guys have created for us! I can’t imagine how frustrating it must have been to have had so many artistic restrictions on you as a band. I must agree that you should have been able to lead in with whatever music/intro you choose to lead with for your recent appearance. The fans would have been thrilled either way and for me, I was always frustrated that you, as artists were so restricted when it came to musical development and marketing choices. I always was an advocate for your talents and would always point out when one of you wrote or collaborated on a song to my friends and/or critics! I really look forward to what YOU have to offer.

They may only have 1″30 of Click Click Click but it IS getting out there, so for many out there reporting on it, the talk is not just about a “reunion” but a “comeback” (and it’s going to be one heck of a comeback at that!)

I’m sooo happy to log on this morning and see a Blog post from you…finally!! :-).
I have to say that I’m not surprised by the mixed feelings that you have. I wish that they had introduced you guys using the new music as well. Maybe if this was just a “reunion” thing or a “nostalgia” trip then how it was done would be understandable. But you have made it clear to us that although the past is respected and will be revisited to some extent…this is about the NEW music!! So if you made it clear to us then I’ve no doubt that you’ve made it clear to them and will continue to do so.
I am starting to get a lump in my throat as I write this. For 20 years, you have been the person that I respected the most in the music industry and in those 20 years, the respect has grown to include you as an actor. Unfortunately, I’ve only ever seen you perform by watching TV but I think you are one of the greatest performers EVER!! I only hope that one day I get to shake your hand and tell you this in person.
Seeing that you are so proud of this baby aka new music…I can’t wait for the day to listen to it. I have this gut feeling that its going to be the best music I’ve heard in 14 yrs because if you are this proud of it then it has to be the best!

WOW!!!! You have had such a positive impact on my life. I was 12 12 when I first started listening to you. My room was filled with with posters from top to bottom. My sheets, comforter, pajamas, etc. where all plastered with New Kids on the Block. It brings back great memories. I still have a NKOTB cedar box filled with with dolls, beach blanket, pins etc. It has moved with me me everywhere I have moved. Let me explain the impact. I grew up in a small town in Michigan. Within, my family there was prejudice. At 12, you had the influence over me to to help me see how to NOT judge people by their skin
color. I have held that standard to this day. I am 31. So to those who say that “music” and their “message” do not affect people- they are wrong. I know first-hand how important a positive message is. I’m sure will all deliver it beautifully. I never made it to a concert when i was younger, but will definitly do so now. As soon as I found out you were all back together, i said “now I am old enough to marry Donnie!” I could turn this into a personality profile if you like, but I think I will save that for later:) Thanks for your dedication and positive messages. I’m sure like my life, you have impacted many others.

We know the music will be well worth the wait!! The clips I’ve heard have me VERY EXCITED!! It was FANTASTIC 2 c all 5 guys 2gether again!! I feel like a giddy 17 yr. old again.
Only now, my 9 yr.old dtr., has become a “BLOCKHEAD”!! She has learned all of the dances and all of the songs. She is just as anxious 2 c all of you on tour and together as I am. I’m excited she will get 2 experience New Kids in concert, etc. like I did and that we can have that experience 2gether. My 14 yr. old son is cracking up, “Mom, you’re FUNNY!!” referring to my giddiness, singing, and dancing. HEE,HEE!! We, ur fans, will b on the ride with you guys 4-eva!! First I want to thank you guys for doing this again, it means alot to us as fans, this has really brought back the old butterflies and excitement that I felt when I was watching you guys at 17. Now I am a mom and happily married but, it is still fun to feel that, I think I speak for alot of 30 somethings when I say you guys are bringing back a real thrill, so thanks a lot. As far as you guys having to do old stuff, yeah that will happen and honestly I and alot of fans will appreciate that, I know as musicians you may not, but as fans we do, I know you would feel the same if Public Enemy got back together and they would only do new music it is a little disappointing, but I do know your new stuff will be great and we can not wait to hear it, now my baby girl will see mom’s taste in music was not all that bad in her young years. I’ve been listening to you all again, alot, (even though my Hangin’ Tough cd has worn out) and now my 3 year old son asks me when he sees someone if its the New Kids. You’ve got one more fan!! Seriously hope you plan on coming to Oklahoma City. I’d love to see you guys again. WOW!!! I’ve always wanted to beleive that this day would come and now it has!!! You guys mean so much to me! You say that you “Thank your fans” but honestly…I need to thank you. I know I don’t speak only for myself when I say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for helping me through those teen years when everything looked so bleak. You guys were the one thing I for one could ALWAYS count on for a smile when I needed a good lift-me-up! Honestly…you guys helped me through my parents divorce, through a 13 month stint in juvie, and even through a move halfway cross country between my Junior and Senior year in High School. We understand that the new stuff means so much to you guys(enough so to reunite) and I’ve listened so far to just the small clip for Click, Click, Click and I must say I am VERY excited about it and it sounds awesome from what I have been able to hear of it and I can’t stop talking about how “the new stuff sounds great” to all of the people who think I’m an obsessed school girl right now and laughing at me for being so excited about you guys. I’m anxious to hear the rest. I know you want to be defined in the here and now with your new music just as you were defined with your music from the younger days. To me, at the age the majority of us are, I want the music to speak to me, and relate to me, not so much how you all look and all the hype surrounding you besides just the music (although yall still look great). With that said, if the new album is as great as it initially sounds, and it means that much to you guys to reunite and go on tour again, then true fans will support NKOTB new and old school! Do what you gotta do, but don’t worry too much. From the way your blog reads it was written after the Today Show on April 4th. Hopefully you aren’t still fretting. Take the good with the bad. It will be ok. I have this feeling every thing will work out even more than any one can imagine. The music is getting out there and remember your fans are now all capable adults able to help make things happen even more than we could before. There is more technology and forums today then 14 years ago and there’s no way the new music won’t be heard. Hearing the old songs will just make the new songs sound even better and from what I have heard so far there is no doubt the sound is fresher and updated. All you can do is present it well and the rest will follow. There will always be those that don’t like whatever type of music. No one can win over the world, but you’ve come pretty close before. Just imagine how much closer the possibility is now. Don’t worry about those that will always hate. You, the other guys and the fans have not only proven once, but are going to prove again, that there is a place in this world for the driving force of 5 talented, charismatic, intelligent, strong and enduring people that attract fans with the same qualities. Can’t wait to see how things unfold!

This is about the most awesome news in quite some time!!! For years I have been being made fun of by my friends for just randomly busting out with a New Kid’s song, but now they can eat it!! It was so awesome seeing the 5 of you together again last Friday on the Today Show. It sent chills up my spine! I have long awaited this reunion and totally look forward to the new album. I’m trying desparately to get into the city on 5/16 to see you guys!! I’ve truly never lost my loyalty to you guys and am so thankful for this reunion. As for the skeptics, take it from where it comes from. Opinions are like a**holes - everyone has one!! The only opinions that matter are from us true fans!!!!!!!!

You know the fans are super excited about the new tunes! Unfortunately, it will be hard to get the media to ignore the past at first, and I can only imagine how annoying that is…if anyone pulled out a picture of what I was wearing back then on national tv I would want to kill them. Still, I’m sure that once everyone has the new tunes the focus will shift. You never cared what critics/media personalities said about you before, so who cares now? The new music will speak for itself. You guys are super talented and I am so excited that you are reuniting and showing the world what you’ve got*.

No need to explain Donnie. Your fans are just as frustrated as you are. Yes we loved you guys before, and the music you released was as you said n an earlier interview,”very sweet”, but we’ve all grown up now and it’s time to recognize that your talent didn’t remain frozen in a time capsule dated 1991. Don’t hide out until the new music comes out and remember, at the end of the day, your fans love you so don’t pay so much attention to the media machine out to get a quick kick in ratings.

Your Face the Music album was edging toward a new era of NKOTB back in ‘94…I was so excited for the potential that was growing at that time. Now 14 years later the time has come to see that potential put to use as a group again. I have had the pleasure to follow those of you guys that stayed in the industry and have enjoyed your individual projects greatly!!
I grew up in a house that had music playing on a daily basis and love that I can always relate a song to great memories…I look forward to pairing your new music with future memories and good times! Thank you for making it all possible. Thank you in advance for making it all worth the wait!!!

It’s really good to hear from you Donnie. I’m actually from the New York City area but moved to Chicago back in July 2006. I wasn’t home unfortunately to watch The Today Show but watched it once I got home from work on the show’s website. I just wanted to let you know that I have some of the songs(not all of them)programmed in my IPOD. Every morning I have to play all of the songs on the bus and train traveling to work and it gets me going all through out the day when I’m not listening to it. I’m so happy that the group has reunited. Once the new music is out I’ll be on the programming the new songs into my IPOD. I hope you’ll be in Chicago very soon for a performance.

As an original Donnie Girl — you’ve been my favorite since I was 10 or 11 years old — I just want to say how very MUCH IT MEANS to hear you excited about the reunion and about the New Kids generally again. I got to shake your hand and talk to you at the Today Show, and my inner pre-teen self (hell, my adult self too!) has rarely ever been that happy. I love the new stuff I’ve heard so far, and can’t wait to hear more — and deeply appreciate that you also know what the old songs mean to everyone. Donnie I hate to hear that about the Today Show but it doesn’t surprise me. They have this mindset that people only want the old music. Once your album comes out they will all be calling you back to perform the new stuff! am a huge fan. I regret that I was never able to see you in concert.
The closest you came to Elmira, NY was Syracuse, NY and at the time I
lived at home and it was just my mother, sister, brother and I and we did
not have a car. Therefore, to this day I always vowed that if you
ever reunited that I would not be stopped from seeing you guys in concert.

From to T shirts to dolls, posters and preforming your dances and songs….. Well Donnie, first I’d like to thank you for my awsome pic and kiss on the cheak in NYC! Let me tell you its the first time I have ever been close to any of you guys and the 10 hour drive to NYC from Toronto and the 12 hour line up in the cold rain …. WAS SOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT! So I thank you! As for your “blog” …Well I wish you knew how much it means when anyone of you say Thank you to your fans. You guys make us feel so appreacheated!
We just had our NKOTB Bar Night Out that I hosted in the sports bar that I bartened in and it was a huge sucsess, and your blog was a talked about allot through out the night! Donnie your an amazing B-E-A-UTIFUL looking man and I just wanted to thank you for being you!

First let me say Thank you! and I really hope to see Toronto on the list of tour dates sometime soon, cause then I have to book time off work so I can go sit outside a ticketmaster with my sleeping bag for two days. LOL.
Secondly, this will be the second time around that you gentlemen walk into my life, true we were all kids back then, but the five of you had a real positive influence in my life and I look forward to introducing that this time around to my daughter. It was truly magical to see you guys on the Today Show and relive the craziness that nkotb fans seem to have harvested all these years…….along with some new ones I’m sure. You guys look great, new song sounds amazing (its my ringtone) please don’t ask me how I got it on there (shhh), and I have no doubt the rest of the album will be fantastic.
All the best and can’t wait to see you in Toronto. Hopefully this go around I can actually meet you guys in person, 19 years in the waiting.

Donnie, no doubt the fans have hung on. Yes, many of us are past the prime we enjoyed back then ….myself a married 35 with kids now, but from the sound of click click click, you all have no need to worry about the fans feeling anything negative. It’s a great song, and we all look forward to seeing you again live and even better, introducing you all to the newer generations, our kids!
And I second the whole “come to Toronto-ok, I’m in Hamilton so would prefer you come here ha!-again!” thing.

PS….do you know, when my husband and I first watched Sixth Sense, I swear we were stunned it was you at the end. We literally rewound that tape at least 10 times, and paused the credits! Wonderful job in every movie you’ve done. I was always a fan of the music, though not a screaming crazed one, but you and your brother have done wonders in movies and I will always go see a movie with either on of you in it. Just kudos to you both!

I can’t wait until the new music is palpable!!!!! My son Creighton and I are anxiously awaiting its arrival. Creighton loves Step by Step and Last Night I saw Santa Claus. Since he is 4, the words he makes up to the songs are hilarious, and of course you can’t tell a 4 year old that he is wrong. :>) I too agree that the Today show should have highlighted the new music, but like most everyone has said previous to me…we are here for NKOTB NO MATTER WHAT!!!!! When I saw ya’ll on the Today Show, I swear i reverted back to that 16 year old teenager… All giddy, smiley, happy. GOD I miss those days when all it took was a pretty smile and a awesome record to make you feel good. Its so good to see you guys back together!! Yeah, it was cold and wet for sure I know cause I was out there since 1 am in line cause I had to see my guys in person for the very first time for me. And I know the new cd will be great cause all of you are very talented and great singers. Can’t wait to hear the music i’ve got my button collection ready and waiting for a show hopfully in Houston, Tx. I remember my mother taking us to every show you had in houston and me and my sister making her camp out in front of ticketmaster to get tickets!! the show i remember the most is the astroworld show (even though astroworld was torn down 2 years ago the memories live on)……wow i had a great time and cant wait to have more great times listening to your music!! I know it will be fantastic!

Donnie, oh how I missed you guys. When I was about 11 I saw NKOTB perform on the Apollo and that was it, I was hooked. I didnt know who you were just that that kind of pop music defined what I liked when I didn’t know how to define anything I liked anymore. I was finally not a kid but, didnt know where to go from there. It might be embarrassing but, you helped a lot of girls going through that time when you are changing. Although I always said I stayed out of trouble because of my mother and christian values,thinking about it now I do beleive NKOTB standing for no drug use and postive thinking helped me not feel alone or like a loser when making those choices in my life. I knew someone I respected felt the same and repected those who decided to take their life in a postive direction. I’m almost 30 and I still don’t drink, do drugs or smoke. Never have, never will. I’m lucky in that way. Really hard times are just made harder by those choices and addictions. So thank you for making me feel like I had people to look up to and gave me fun,eye candy for a young girl but, with a positive message always behind it. Can’t wait to see what you have up your sleave. I always knew you of all people couldn’t stay away. You milk that stage baby and we love you for it! I had a crush on you from back then a few years ago when i started watching my old videos. Every x-mas I watch the Arsenio merry merry x-mas performance.I used to tape everything. I can’t beleive I was one of the last to know the rumors where true. Now I’m going to have No More Games (rap) going through my head all day.. it’s not about being soft it’s about being smart.. you sucker.. hehe goose bumps Well, have fun and keep it fun and positive. WOW, I just heard from a friend today that NKOTB was back! This really brings back the memories! My first Rock concert was New Kids in Dallas, TX. You really started my love for music you can sing to! I am excited to hear your new voices and new sound….I imagine a little edgier, a little less pop…but who knows….that sound maybe something no one has ever heard before! Looks like we’ve all grown up now. At 31, I feel like a kid hearing about you again.. and reading above, I think I’m not the only one.
It makes me look back and think about all the great moments I spent listening to your music, dancing and growing up with you. I must confess, I did dreamed of marying Jordan one day… and I still think he’s the hottest guy on earth ! But as Joey said, you sure still are all fit ! By the way, I wanted to thank you for being such nice role model at this stage because they are hard to find these days. It helped me make better choices in life and, as a teenager, to choose boyfriend that respected me. I’m sure you made that kind of difference in life of other fans too and looking back you can be proud of yourselves. Maybe that’s why we are still here to support you today ?

I have to tell you, you guys looked sooooo happy!!! And I’m thankfull for your comeback. I am really, really looking forward on hearing some new tunes. But I guess all of us are.

I have to admint that seeing you guys on tv took me back about 20 yrs to when I was 12.It was so great to see all of you together again. I can’t wait for the new album & can only hope that you guys will come to Tulsa Oklahoma or somewhere close because you have at least 2 new fans that I know of. My 12 1/2 yr old daughter & my 9 yr old daughter like you too! My 12 yr old is in love with Joe just like I was when I was 12. Anyway, can’t wait to hear the new albulm.

Hello from the UK….I must say that I am loving the new single…it’s really quiet surreal that you’re making a come back but I can’t wait!!!
To think when you guys were in ur prime and we were crazy fans, I think I was 13/14!!!! Now I’m 31 so it is pretty mad!

When I was younger I firmly believed that if I attended a concert that Donnie would somehow see me in the audience and instantly fall in love with me. I never made it to a concert and that made me terribly sad. Now, I will see them perform. I no longer believe that Donnie will fall in love with me, but seeing the New Kids will definately make the little girl in me so very happy. Thank you!

Oh how i have waited for this time to arrive. NKOTB helped me survive a pretty rough childhood and i will never be able to thank you enough for that. Even though i’m a grown woman of 33 with an 11yr old daughter, my love for you guys has not wavered. Through her whole life,I’ve sang New Kids songs to my baby (usually it was “My Favorite Girl” of course). It is so great to play all the songs for her and even pull out my old VHS player and tapes to show her the videos. She is so into it,wanting to know which one of you is singing which parts of the songs, I’ve created another little fan! Much against all my coaching and pushing towards her realizing that you are the “hottest” she is voting for Joe ;-p I feel just like that crazy teenage girl again and i thank you for that. The day i heard the rumors might be true i called up my two best friends from high school, one of them lives in Indiana still, I’m in Kansas, and the other is in California, so we’ve decided that wherever the tour goes, we will be covered! Thanks you guys so much for believing enough in yourselves and knowing that your fans will still be out here to support and love you as always. Can’t wait to see and hear more!

Ilast saw the NKOTB when i was in the 6th grade at a DARE concert. IT has been too long of a wait for this reunion!! I have written to Oprah and hope that other fans write her so that NKOTB can come back to the lingering spotlight that has never left them!! My best friend and I are now 30 and still have plans to someday see you in concert TOGETHER even though we live in different states now. Thanks for all you do!!! I saved all of your memorabilia to someday show my daughter and now you are back!! This is like a dream for all of us FANS!! Can’t wait for the new album to debut. I was traumatized as a child when you guys came to Austin, TX for the one time I can remember and my parents wouldn’t let me go. I cried for like a week and it was the end of the world. Now having a daughter of my own I have made sure to take her to all the teeny bopper cncerts she has wanted to go to. When I heard of the AWESOME come back, I was taken back 15 years. I felt like a child again….young, alive, and boy crazy!!!! Please, you guys have to come to Austin…. I already to my husband to be prepared. I can’t hardly wait to finally be able to see The New Kids Back On The Block. (sorry for that last cheesy comment…..)

Donnie, you knew you fellas had to have known that loyalees would always be here anxiously awaiting the return. We knew you’d be back to bring smiles to our faces and warmth to our hearts. Although, it has seemed an eternity, the real fans will be fans forever.
That being said, May 16th cannot get here fast enough. I am anxious and impatient. LOL. I have no doubt that whatever you guys do will be pleasing to the soul and the eyes. Hehehe! Donnie, I am so excited about the new music and tour!! I love what I’ve heard so far and can’t wait for more. I had one of the best surprises of my life last July when I heard them announce your name at the Anti Up For Africa tournament at the WSOP in Vegas. All the nervous excitement I felt took me back 13 years to my Face the Music tour memories. I told my husband then that if there is ever a reunion, I have to be at the first show. I saw the last 6 shows back in 1994 and I have to be there for the new beginning. So, needless to say, I am counting down the days til May 16th. We already have our plane tickets and will be there. I am so excited!! See you there!

I have so many many MANY good memories of NKOTB from my younger days, and now at 32 all that excitement is coming back! I must admit that I’m behind the times in the blogging world. And actually this is the 1st blog I have EVER responded to swearing that I would never blog! But hear I am…I must admit that I was taken back by this response to your reaction of your apperance on the “Today Show”. I was/am a HUGE NKTOB fan and was so excited to hear that you all were coming back and I hope that I get a chance to see you perform in this new show on the upcoming tour.
However, to think that the media/fans would be more interested in your new music vs. hearing the songs that got you to where you are today is a little presumptuous or maybe naive, I’m not sure which. You were and still are a member of the largest POP group to globally have as many hits/records that you did in the time you did it. Don’t get me wrong..I want to hear the new music but I’m just as excited to hear/see the old music performed.
I understand the frustration of working on something and not having the reaction you expected/hoped it would have right out of the gate. But all I can offer is give it a little time and let everyone calm down from the excitement of this reunion and they will come around. You not only got to live this experience once but you’re getting to re-live it once more. Many of us will never no what it’s like to have millions of fans wanting only a second of our time to get a hello, to experience the world or be able to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about our retirement plan (ha,ha!)(I think I probably just dated myself
Enjoy the ride and your work will be shown for the talent that lies within it.

What a hoot. New Kids all grown up and back together for a reunion. Didn’t believe it when I first heard it… Was it really 18 years ago that your posters graced the bedroom walls of my Massachusetts childhood home? Gosh, I’m getting old. hey there Donnie,
i have been a fan for years. when i was a teenager growing up in New Mexico (USA). i was upset that i didn’t get to see you guys in concert. i was so mad at my mom cuz she couldn’t get tickets to the concert that i didn’t speak to her for 3 wks. And now i feel that i have a second chance to see my favorite guys LIVE!!! i am now 30 yrs old and still looking forward to seeing my favorite guys in concert. i will defentiltly be getting the new album when it come out. the only thing that is in my way now is that i live in London England and not in the states anymore. So can can u please think about doing a world tour and come to England!!! Well it was great too see you on the web doing the Today show!!! Made me feel like i was a teenager again. Just wanted to say that I’m very happy to see you guys back! For some people, you were a boyband, for others a joke, for some you represent first crushes and hormonally frenetic hysteria. For me, you were the only part of my childhood that did not suck my will to live. You were my sanctuary, my rock and the only time in my life that I could forget about all the adult issues I was forced to deal with long before I was ready. I thank you for that.
While I have continued being a fan and followed all of your individual careers (ok, not Jon’s, but really, I don’t think I can afford a house in your price point dude!) I look forward to seeing all of you together again. I am excited about the new music, and am have already broken out the battle gear to deal with the haters who apparently, after all these years, STILL haven’t obtained lives. I will never understand them… if you don’t like something, (as they claim) why is it worth your time to complain? Sigh… jealousy is a fugly beast!

Donnie…. Oh how you still melt my heart…
This reunion is one of the best things to ever happen. It’s obvious that your fans are loyal, but I wanted you to know (in hopes that you’ll read this) that you guys really changed things for me. Without getting too down, I’ve had some of the worst years of my life over the last 10 years or so, but things have been slowly looking up in the last year or year and a half. With 30 looming in my near future, I really wanted to believe in myself again so that I can get on with being a creative person and starting a family one day. I have also battled depression over the years, but I always saw a light at the end of the tunnel. I came to that light in a blaze the day you guys announced your reunion on the Today Show. It may sound untrue or crazy, but since that day, I feel like my spirits are a lot lighter than they were before, and I’ve just had an all-around great feeling. You guys did that.
We fans all think that we know you and the guys… I know we don’t really, but we honestly feel like we do. We protect you when people step out of place, we praise you when you accomplish something in your careers, we feel a love not unlike true kinship with you all, we’ve all been there all along… watching the movie roles, buying solo albums. That’s what I feel, and from reading the other posts on here, I speak for more than myself.
You guys were there for all of us when we were in our very uncertain teens… you guys were always a ray of light at a time when there’s a lot of peer pressure and the need to fit in with other kids. Now, here you are again, just as many of us may be feeling lost again while we’re stepping away from adolescence forever and facing the rest of out lives as adults. (when did we get so grown? I knew I was doomed when I stopped reading Cosmo and started reading Good Housekeeping LOL!)
Seriously, you are truly a part of who I am today, and you’ll be a part of who I am tomorrow. The music today doesn’t affect me the same way, I have favorite bands and whatnot, but you guys struck a chord in my soul - and by that I mean quite literally… you are a part of me in ways that you won’t ever know. I always wished I could be the little girl that you brought up on stage during Cover Girl, or the girl who got to meet you back stage, but the fact that this blog might actually reach you… it’s just amazing.
I will continue to support you in the future and I will definitely be seeing you live again, even if it means I have to fly to do it (and I don’t like flying all that much!) I am looking forward to this more than you’ll ever know. I am on the edge of my seat in anticipation, as I’m sure we all are.
Keep doing what you’re doing, Donnie! You are so multi-talented and just glow wherever you are. You guys are amazing for bringing us this incredible joy!
Make sure you spend lots of time in Canada…. it’s truly beautiful up here, and there are many loyal fans awaiting your return!

Let me just say that even though I know it took a lot for you guys to come back together and go for it all over again, it is SO WORTH IT!! The sample of “click, click, click” sounds HOT and I can’t wait to hear the rest of it, and the rest of the album!!! I know that you all take too much pride in your work to just put some junk out there and think that your name alone would revive your musical success!!
I first knew of you guys when I was in 9th grade, and I haven’t stopped loving you, being proud of you, loving your music, or following your careers (ok - mostly just yours!!) since then. My friends and I who are the same age (mid 30’s) feel like we have just been given another opportunity to experience all the excitement we had when we first became your fans all those years ago (ok, but can you believe it’s been THAT LONG??)!!
I promise you, when I first heard that NKOTB was reuniting and going on tour I didn’t think I would be able to breathe for a minute! I was so excited!! Though I have been to multiple concerts of NKOTB’s and entered every contest possible just to win the opportunity to say hi or take a picture of you or meet you, it has never happened! I truly hope I get the opportunity to do so on your upcoming tour! My heart is beating fast now just thinking about that possibility!!
I know you guys will be successful wherever you decide to tour, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come to (or near) Knoxville Tennessee!! I slept out for days for your concert tickets before and I am ready to do it again!

Donnie, since my other response hasn’t posted, let me just say this. We fans are behind you guys and the music 100%. 20 years of loyalty says that loud and clear. And now we have the internet that makes it even easier for us to tell the Today Show (and the radio stations and MTV and so on) that we want to hear the new music!! I love what I’ve heard so far and can’t wait to hear more. We will get the word out!

I can remeber the first time we saw you guys at Dancin in Cleveland Ohio.I fell in love. God that was the beginig to a wonderfull jurney.The first time we met you had to be one of the best times of our lives and the many times after were just as great,because you remebered us evey time.That is what makes you speacial to not forget the fans you met. Even if it was just for a couple minutes you always made time to come out of your hotel room just to come down and say hi.I can’t wait to see you guys perfom again(you should have never stopped)Even as I got older I still listen to the old songs and of course the new ones that Joe, Jordan and Danny sang on their own and watching you in movies and on tv.But it just isn’t the same as when you guys did it together. You guys are still magicall to me and my daughter.(who I’ve passed the new kids love down to)I am so happy you guys are back and can’t wait to see you again.Who knows maybe we will get to meet you guys again and I’ll have the courage to actually speak to Joe haha. I ve just received a shock…..the nkotb are back….what a great information.
I was a fan of the new kids’s style in the 90’s…it was a good trick for having a girlfriend. then u grew up and me too.
I staid a fan but for differents reasons…u in sixth sens, band of brothers bommtown saw… jordan et joey for their latest album (particulary the song ‘dont run’)
You and the other kids…sorry …guys, Gave me the love of singin’..particulary when i realised that i had the same kind of voice than jordan. i tried but in france, if u ain’t author or composer…u are nothing… so my dreams were broken many years ago( i only have recorded my voices on your songs on my Pc..it consolated me and my children will listen it in a few years…)
I never had the chance to see u in live show…i thought it was definitif…and then u come back…great…
I listened “click” and i am sure it will be a big hit.
Now i really hope u’ll do a tour in europe, particulary in france, and had the chance to go to the concert with my children for they discover the boston style.

Hey Donnie! I did watch and I believe when you said it was cold and wet! Haha! And also because I am from NY and knew it was cold and wet that day. But I am sooo beyond happy that you guys are back. I was so young when you guys came out and always wanted to see you guys in concert but again, I was too young. Nothing is going to stop me now from coming to see you guys in concert.

So I listened to the ”interview” on Q 100 in Atlanta this morning while takign my kids to school. I was in tears and my kids were like WHY are you crying? Then take your L onto Washington and pass the Gas station and then stop into Billy’s. Now that’s where you are going to get you hometown pride. PS: My one and only concert back in the day, was the one show you returned to after that trap door accident. You showed up at the concert in Chicagoland, Poplar Creek. For the Step By Step tour. It was and still is the best concert I was at! It was great to see you and that you were going to be ok!

I am writing this now as a 30 year old woman with a career and yet I still have the same goosebumps I did when I was a 15 year old girl writing a fan letter! Isn’t it strange that in some ways you never grow up! Well done to the 5 of you for making your talent shine through again - there must have been some really hard times along the way! I’m from the UK and went to your shows everytime you came here and I will be doing the same if you come back! I kept all of my NKOTB CD’s from the 90’s and played them for the kids in my high school class - they loved the No More Games CD - they thought it was funny that I had a crush on Mark Wahlberg’s brother when I was their age! To me, Mark will always be Donnie Wahlberg’s brother - you are both amazing though! Good luck in all you do!!!

I can’t believe this is finally happening! At 28 with 2 kids now, everyday is so busy and serious, to go to NKOTB.com and see you guys it’s like you just gave a whole generation a breath of fresh air! OMG—Being 31 I felt like a young school girl all over again when I heard that NKOTB was finally reuniting. I am also excited about the tour this fall. I printed the picture of you guys and have it on my wall AT WORK (I work at a doctor’s office so the doctor’s love teasing me for have a “poster” near my desk). There is already a large group of us at work planning on all going to the concert together, we just hope that if you come to Ohio that you come to BLOSSOM music center in cuyahoga falls Ohio, it’s where NKOTB performed whenever then came to Ohio so many years before. It would definately be a blast from the past to see you there again. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE COME TO akron/cuyahoga falls OHIO!!!! All the guys are awesome but Donnie was always my fav so I cant wait to see him again live in concert.

oh my gosh. i cant believe new kids on the block is back… i have been in love with the whole group since i was 5. i cant believe that i might finally get a chance to see you in concert… i know you hear this stuff from thousands of girls all the time but i am such a big fan of yours and all of nkotb… i had every little bit of memerobelia i could get my hands on. i had freaking bed sheets with all your faces on it at age 6…. lol. i am just in shock that you’re back. i dont know if you have your whole schedule for touring planned out all ready or not but if possible could you please come to cleveland? i would be so happy if i could see you all in concert even if i had to be in the back row…. (that would suck… but i would still love it.) my boyfriend said that he would buy me and my friend tickets to come and see you guys if you came to cleveland..that way i have someone to go with. if nkotb could come to cleveland i would be very greatful!!!!…omg i just love new kids on the block… im so happy youre back… i always prayed that you guys would do a reunion tour or something and my dream has finally come true. you are the best donny!!! you’re so gorgeous and the whole group is the best boy band of all time!!!! i love you all!!!!

just wanted to say good luck with the tour and record. I knew you guys would come back someday I’ve been a fan since the beginning . My friends got to see you in the good old day at the plaza in braintree ma and surrounding areas I always seemed to miss you cause I’m disabled and at the time couldn’t get to the malls and etc. then my dad surprised me with tickets at see you at the garden with dino and covergirls that night of the concert I got really sick with a cold and was unable to go to the concert I was heartbroken that i missed another opportunity to see you guys. hope to see you at the reunion tour

This seemed like a dream when I first heard the news. I, unfortunately, had to watch the Today show appearance online over the weekend after the actual appearance. I almost cried! I suddenly felt like I was 14 all over again. In trying to explain to my mother on the phone why I was so excited, I came up with the best analogy. Simply said, It’s like the Beatles have gotten back together, only better! I work for a music buying company that supplies a MAJOR retail chain and when I heard that the new cd is coming out, I got on the phone with the music buyer for that genre and started hounding. Love You all and glad you are back!!!

I am so excited that you guys have blessed us by releasing more music and a tour. I so hope you make it down south so I can have an opportunity to see you again. I am a huge fan. Even though I was a little older than your typical fans back I can’t say enough about your music and concerts.
I hope this doesn’t sound crazy but I can honestly say that my NKOTB experience really did save my life. I was in the middle of a divorce and on the verge of total self destruction but your positive message and amazing personalities really made a major difference in my life. I got my act together and actually met my now husband while watching the premiere of the Step by Step video. He liked the music and especially thought Donnie was cool so I figured he had to be ok and we have now been married 17 years this month.
I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for everything and welcome back!!!! I can’t wait. My NKOTB days were some of the best days of my life.

Oh my goodness, the Today Show was SO worth it! I was soaked to the bone and waited for hours, but it was great! We got the best photos and needless to say, we left there without voices. This is the perfect time for a comeback tour….we’re all a little more “mature” and I think it’s a good feeling for me to feel like I am 15 years old again!!
I’m getting that old feeling of excitement and adrenaline looking forward to that Montreal concert! Hopefully you will add more tour dates later on and maybe go and see the WEST coast in Canada. I have a few friends out in Vancouver who would LOVE a chance to see you guys!

I have waited almost 20 years to see you perform again. Now married with one child about the age I was when I first saw you live in Canada. Not to make you feel dated but I already do at this point.
I have been fortunate enough to marry an amazing man who has purchased 5 STAR VIP tickets for him and I to attend. We both hope that we aren’t the only “geriatric” fans attending. My husband is a fan of your work in The Saw, I can’t stand scary movies so I wouldn’t know…Sorry!
I’ll have to dust off some of the old gear to sport…I never thought so many years later I would have such an opportunity. Thanks for the music past, present and future. I can hardly wait to meet you.

Donnie, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for recording again. I listened to you guys on Ryan Seacrest’s show earlier in the week, and I think your new music is great! My sister Donna and I grew up listening to you, and we always hoped that you guys would get back together. We made a pact to see you guys, when you got back together. To me, this is bittersweet because unfortunately, my sister Donna passed away in May 2004. She was only 27 years old. I know that she would want me to see you guys when you come back to Los Angeles. It looks like your tour dates don’t include Los Angeles yet, but I hope that will change. Thank you and the rest of guys for being a part of mine and my sister’s lives growing up. I have priceless memories with her, because of it. Thanks again

Anything from you is worth the wait. We are all just so excited to have you part of our entertainment world as a group.
Although, we have all been so grateful that most of you have been around solo doing different things(acting, singing, dancing, etc…) for your fans to stay connected to you, we are more than thrilled to have you back together.
For me personally, it’s not just about the music. It’s about what you gave me growing up, the happiness, your laughs, your smiles, you were always there to take me away from whatever it was that I was going thru at the time.
You, Donnie, especially were my world. And I am so grateful for that. Now as an adult, with two kids of my own and a recent divorce, I’m going thru an interesting stage in my life and you reappeared again.
You give me peace, you give me a smile on my face. I feel young and vibrant when I watch you guys and I hope that I will see more and more of you.

Summertime is awesome. It’s a total hit. I spent the last 15 years enjoying mostly local punk music. This is so worth the wait, I haven’t listen to KISS108 in SOOO long. My daughter’s listening for Miley and I’m listening for New Kids. I anticipate all the new music.
I’m so glad you’ve been acting. It’s your thing, for sure.
Please do something live up at the Strand in Uphams Corner someday, its getting quite a spectacular makeover.

With 5 boys to raise and pending losing her job, there’s no way she could afford it. I was just trying to do something nice for an overworked and underpaid mom who was one your biggest fans!

I like many others was a fan back in the day. Since then I have been pleasantly surprised with the direction your career has taken. It was just great seeing you guys perform live again, instantly I was back to being that 13 year girl that screamed at your concerts and collected ANYTHING that had to do with NKOTB. I can’t say that I’ll go back to putting posters on my walls floor to ceiling but I am defintely planning on seeing the group perform when you make your way to Atlanta, Ga. and i’ll probably scream again and act like a goofy 13 year old. i came all the way out from hong kong (yes, im nuts!) and the trip was well worth it! aside from all the excitement of FINALLY seeing yall LIVE (was too young to go back in the day), its clear how much you guys enjoy performing and how passionate yall are & thats what i think draws your fans back.

Donnie, you guys are the best.I never thought this reunion would ever happen.I am so excited. The best part is now I get to share this with my daughter. At first she thought I was crazy because as soon as I heard that you guys were getting back together I was jumping up and down. Now that she has heard you guys and seen your performance on the today show she loves you guys just as much as I do. the last time I saw you guys perform was the show you did in saratoga springs new york, Where you unfortunately got hurt by falling through the stage. You probably remember that. My cousin and I camped outside the hospital. we didnt get to see you but we did get to see danny. Anyway, please come to upstate new york again for a concert. i really want to say something… i am already sick and tired of people bashing new kids for having a comeback.. because frankly i think that they are the only “boy band” that would be able to do something like this.. i would like to see nsync or backstreet boys do something like this! people need to quit hatin because they did not chose to do this for all the people that have something negative to say they did it for all the people who still adore them and love their music… i am proud to say that i will pay $350 to meet them and go their concert in milwaukee this is a chance for all of us fans to fulfill a teenage dream and i am glad to have this chance again.. so to all of you people who have something to smart ass to say remember opinions are like assholes… everyone has one.. and it is easy to bash someone when you are anymonous and sit behind a computer screen and give random opinions all day but they are the ones who are receiving all the fame and praise they so richly deserve! ok im done now!!!!

Wow!! let me jus say im so excited that new kids are finally back, im a huge fan and i cant wait for the album to come out! You guys were awsome on the today show i ended up watching it on youtube and you were great. Donnie - as a teenager, I dreamed of meeting and marrying you (LOL!). Now I am 33, a lawyer (by profession - don’t hold that against me, I actually don’t practise), married to a wonderful, amazing man, mother to a 15 mo. old beautiful daughter, but the excitement and joy I felt at seeing you all on the Today Show this past Friday was unbelievable. I sang and danced while watching the show, holding my daughter, and it brought back so many wonderful, happy memories.
Thank you for reuniting, for the risk you all are taking - that I know will turn out more amazing than you all imagined, for all your hard work, for the extra tour date in Toronto (the 1st show sold out sooo fast I didn’t get tickets!), for the joy you all gave us back when we were teenagers and the joy you are giving us again now. All 5 of you are beautiful, talented, down-to-earth, special men that have triumphed over adversity and deserve all the happiness and success in the world!

I think it was a brilliant idea to have another tour and I am happy to see that 4 shows have sold out!
It is encouraging to see ya’ll (yes, I said “ya’ll” and I was born in Malden
make a new album and go on tour. Back in the day (late 80’s/early 90’s) I was a very big fan. I wrote a song called “Fighting Back” and it was played here on the radio in Austin-you may have received the tape (yes, I said tape-ha!)
My friends and I hope to get to meet ya’ll as that is one thing I thought would happen when I was a kid and it didn’t happen. I met your mother, your brother, Joe’s dad, etc. LOL!
Oh and Congrats- I think I heard on the news you were married a few years ago!
My girlfriends and I look forward to seeing ya’ll in S.A.

Ya know, as one of those old skool fans from the early 90’s it was really a thrill seeing you guys perform the old stuff, as well as the new song “Summertime”. I know you guys want to grow as artists, and I respect that (as do all the fans i’d imagine). I look at the Today show as a “warm up preview” to what is to come. It gets me excited thinking about seeing you guys live again, 15+ years later. I really didn’t know how excited I would get until I actually saw the Today Show. Just goes to show somethings should never stop! Loved it guys! Thanks so much.

I was at the Kiss Concert last night, and I got to see you all live for the first time, ever. I waited 20 years for those 20 minutes, and it was SO worth it! I was 14 again… screaming, jumping… it was amazing. YOU were amazing. We kept saying, “Booostooon….” all night on the ride home. SO much fun. I am so glad you are all back together, and I can’t wait to see the whole show at the Garden in September.
I love the new music. I heard “Click” last night on the drive home, it’s a great song. You have every reason to be proud.

So I drove only like 5 hours to Newark, to catch the smelliest subway train to the city, to take a taxi that almost crashed 80 times. I sat all night in the cold and the rain-only to not be able to see the stage. BUT, I was there at the Today show and it was one the greatest moments of my life. Although my friend had the best poster eva and I made the most awesome shirts, you guys never made any rounds to your fans. That was my only disappointment. I screamed so loud, I can hardly talk, and I jsut wish I could have seen your fine a$$ up close.

I loved your performance on the TODAY show. It was great seeing you all performe your old hits. It brought back alot of CRAZY memories! Growing up, my siblings and I had it a bit rough. The energy in your songs and videos were a great escape for us! Thanks for all you have done! I am really looking forward to your new album. Summertine is a great hit and I can’t wait to hear more! You all look great! Time has been good to you! You all have grown along with your fans, but you also have some new younger fans…my daughter included!

OK OK so you got the band together again, which I have to say is pretty amazing as time has moved on so much. But don’t forget there is the rest of the world out there waiting for you to perform… we may all be married and settled and happy (well most I hope) but all us 30 year olds are desperate to recreate those days of the 1990’s when we were shrilling at the top of our voices at Wembley arena EVERY NIGHT (even front row tickets having won a competition!)! That’s right, every night you played there! Not sure what my hubby will make of it when the time does come around, probably laugh out loud at my histeria, but please guys, take some consideration for us our here in the rest of the world… now in Asia, I would contemplate flying back to the UK for one of your concerts, some would say sad, others would say crazy. I would just say a true fan!!! SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN and BEST OF LUCK at making your millions

I love “Summertime” and can’t wait for the new album. I appreciate you putting the old stuff into your show for old times sake but I know you are excited about the new stuff and that makes us excited too. One thing I remember about you is that you are very true to yourself and who you are. I know you would never lead the group in a direction that wasn’t true to who you all are as a group. And that makes it worth the wait!

I have to agree with you: sadness at the resounding nostalgia of the fans. I only assume NKOTB didn’t reunite to reminisce; too many of you had to leave and/or disrupt your lives to get back together. Having a young family myself, I can’t imagine the sacrifices given and struggles with your families to make this happen (I think the fans often forget you are guys first, then musicians). As a fan of NKOTB and a proponent of progress, I’m excited at the band’s new sound, new style, and new album. I hope this new journey finds you all peace and balance between your careers, your families, and yourselves.

I cannot believe that you are back and I love the sound. I am a 35 year old who coudn’t get enough of you guys back in the day and I am happy to say that when I saw you on Today show I almost cried. It looked like you were really truly happy to be on stage this time. I am so glad that you have all been blessed and are able to do this again for your fans. We love you still.

Im so happy that you guys are comeing back (we) all have waiting for this for so many years .I live in Toronto,Canada .Growing up my older sister loved you guys.I know i was still somewhat a baby at the time but i rember waching the videos with my sister and trying to do the dance to step by step she use to get so mad at me for likeing you guys. When i heard you guys where comeing to town i had to try and get tickets at any cost for me and my sister more or less just for her. Im so happy to say that i got the tickets when i told her she was so happy the then the next day are family dog pasted away in my arms But even now lisening to ur cds still helps me almost 15 years later just wanted to say Thank you for that and Thank you for comeing back so i could take my sister to give her a memroy she will take with her forever thanks alot god bless you and ur family cant wait to see you hear in Toronto on sept 19 keep up the good work

FIRST LET ME SAY, EXCUSE TO THE CAPS FOR ONE OF CURVE BALLS HAVE BEEN SINCE 2004 I’VE HAD ABOUT 10 EYE SURGERIES. YOU’D THINK ONCE YOU HIT YOU’RE MID-LATE 20S YOU’D BE IN THE PRIME OF YOUR LIFE BUT LIKE I SAID…CURVE BALLS. Okay first let me say that I think it is awesome that fans are able to do this on your sight. Very nice.. Just wanted to say that your preformance on the MMVA was awesome. I do agree Rihanna was awesome. When is the new album coming out Donnie? I can not wait to hear it. If you guys are adding more date to your tour you should think of LONDON ONTARIO CANADA at the JLC. Just wanted to throw that out there at you all lol.

Donnie!!! hi! if you are reading this I want you to know how much this tour means to me. I am fullfilling a childhood dream, because I was never able to see you as a teenager. I have tickets for the SLC show in November and I have been that it may be cancelled, that would breat my heart!!!!! I cant bare it. Can you please please please not cancell that show.. I will buy out all the tickets if I have to.
