I want to start off by saying I am so thankful and feel blessed to have this opportunity again. I feel like I have won the lottery twice. We finally have the chance to give all you guys what you have always deserved. I am also so excited to be able to share this experience with my kids. My children can finally see what everyone has been talking about over the years. To them I am just Pops; they are all very excited. It is also great to reconnect with the guys and share in this amazing ride. You guys have been so supportive over the years with everything we have done individually, I hope this is a way we can repay all of your efforts.

I guess sometimes it pays to be up till 3 AM (even though I have to be up in 5 hrs
). I smile when I read you talking about repaying us. You and the other guys have given us so much that we should owe you. I had hoped for this day for the past 14 yrs but I also knew that you had all went in different directions and moved on so my hopes were never too high. I think this time has even been more exciting because the Internet has played such a huge part in the fans gathering together.
That is a cool thing to hear that your kids are excited. Do they think that all your fans are nuts? :-).
I am soo glad that you guys have created new music and I hope against hope that I will get to see you all on tour this time as I’ve nver seen you guys perform live. My 30th birthday was on Easter and I have to say this is the best belated birthday I’ve had in a LONG time!

Well, thank you, seriously, for, well, everything. I really think that what you five have done, both collectively, and individually, has really helped shape parts of our generation.
The generosity you all show, in the ways that you’ve always given of yourselves to us, is a pretty wonderful thing, and I’m very pleased to see you all together again.
My biggest hope for the five of you is that this whole ride will prove to be as much fun for you all as it will be for us.

I know everyone else will agree with me when I say that we too felt like we have won the lottery twice when we all heard then news you guys were getting back together! I honestly can’t tell you how much it means to us all - we’re all behind you every step of the way just like we always were and we can’t wait to hear the new music and see you on tour again (please please please come to England!!!). You’ve all meant so much to so many people throughout the years - we’ve all grown up together and you helped me through my teenage years and because of you guys I’ve met my life long best friends and even in a round about way met my husband because of you! We owe you as much as you owe us and we’re all in this together.

I was doing my usual Job posting and saw a blip on tv about the groups reunion. I had to check out your site. It has a cool and fresh look.
I got to thinking why after so many years, so many new songs, so many new groups do the New Kids still ring true to me. Yeah, talent, brotherhood, love for what you do, all of that is real. But for me, my link was to the music and the idea of friendship, you were there when I clicked the player on. When you were introduced to me, I was a child.
Your music soon had me escaping to a dream, of friendship and hope. Your positive energy was important to me, and helped in many ways that is beyond thought. I know as a fan I apreciate the chance to enjoy that same feeling again. I know that your fans are important to you, but I belive that you all owe us nothing. You have already given us a piece of your talent, we are all but lucky to be blessed by the perserverance and sacrfice it takes to do what makes you and your fans happy.

I am sure this is how most of us feel!!! We have been waiting for this for what seems like forever and it was so worth the wait….(this is a blog from my myspace)
I sit here at my computer searching for any news releases regarding the upcoming album release and Fall tour of my favorite childhood reunited band New Kids On The Block. It’s crazy, but I feel like a 12 year old girl all over again with her larger than life crush on 5 dreamy teenage heart throbs from Boston, Massachusetts. Though I never forgot them, I did go on with life after the band dismantled in 1994.
Life went on and I eventually met more attainable guys, settled down, got married, and had 4 children of my own. I am now the 31 year old mother of 3 daughters and one son and am married to the most amazing man I have ever known. This year I got to experience first hand what my mother endured concert after concert 20 years ago. My oldest daughter is 12 and crazy about the Jonas Brothers. In March, my wonderful husband and I took her to their concert here in Dallas. The teenage girls came in droves and it was shear pandamonium as they took the stage. I think my husband was blown away by the lung capacity of hundreds of screaming girls. At one point I believe he asked me how I could handle it. I just smiled and said, I used to be one of them…and I was. After the concert was over, and we were driving home I caught myself saying the things my mother said like, ” You know, they were pretty good.” and “They are really some good looking kids.” That’s when my mind wandered back to my childhood and I thought, how awesome it would be to see the New Kids On The Block reunite….
I had heard rumors for months that it might happen and had hoped that it would for years. Every time one of the guys showed up somewhere, like Donnie in the movies, or Joe on Dancing with the Stars, Jordan with his Solo Album, and Danny and his, I would get so excited. With the invention of the internet and MySpace, I learned to search for information. It was nice to be able to reconnect in a way to my childhood, and it helped me to hold onto the possibility that this reunion might really happen someday….
On April 4, 2008 on the Today show, I regressed back into that preteen girl I was 20 year ago all over again. The anticipation was killing me…I kept waiting for some announcement, to see their faces again….it was crazy how giddy I felt. Finally that curtain dropped and I found myself grinning from ear to ear as those 5 boys from Boston emerged as 5 fully grown men. I couldn’t pry myself away from the television set..and have since had to watch it again several times over, (thank goodness for TiVO). Though they were noticibly older and more mature, I still caught a glimpse of each of them as those teenage boys that stole my heart all those years ago. After the show I found my old buttons, tour books, pillow case, and T-shirts, and have since reordered the albums I had lost…I look forward to the announcement of the tour dates and hope that they make Dallas one of their stops. My best friend of 24 years and I have decided that if they do stop through Dallas, we’re there!!! (Not to mention the fact that I have the most supportive husband that said he would go to so that I can have that “moment.” And so he could share that moment with me.) I cannot wait for the new album to come out. I check the “Kids’” website every day for any new information.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my life. I love my family! My beautiful children. My amazing husband who believes in, trusts, and loves me with all his heart, And all of the other wonderful people that surround me. But I am looking forward to that one night that even if only for a few hours, I can go back to a simpler time and place and be that little girl who’s whole world revolved around those 5 boys; Jordan, Donnie, Joey, Danny, and Jon…and just enjoy the innocence of that moment one more time.

it is something most in my life dont undestand the importance/impact of they only her me ramble on about nkotb.for me you guys are more then a boyband/group youve been a huge piece of my teen years as well as my adulthood.you’re music has influenced my life more then anyone realizes.you’re songs (group & solo)have been major parts of the soundtrack of my life being there in rough times,hppy times & happy times ive laughed with them cried with them they always have & always will be huge in my life
thank you for making millions of women(most of us in our 30’s)as happy as you did 20yrs ago when we were just teens.thank you for making it possible to share this wonderful ride once again not only with you but with our kids & in my case a younger sister who was born the yr hangin tough hit she loves you guys just as much as i do !

All I can say is thank you so much! As a die hard fan I always held on, knowing that someday we would get the opportunity to make another round with this, and that day has finally arrived. Thank you so much for the message. You and the rest of the guys were a huge part of my pre-teen and early teen life. I have so many fond memories of seeing you guys in concert with my best friends and all of the late nights that we spent listening to your music and dreaming about how someday we would be “our” favorite New Kids wife. LOL!!! Now we are all grown up with kids of our own and we get to make new memories with those same friends and even some new memories with our own children. My 9 year old daughter loves your music and thinks that Mommy is silly because I am acting like a giggly school girl again because I am looking at all my old memorabilia and talking with my friends about how great it will be to see you in concert again. Words can’t explain the support and memorable moments your music provided to your fans. The funny thing is for years your fans were mocked for being part of what the media and the general public were trying to dismiss as a joke. I guess we are all now sitting back watching their jaws drop as they realize that the bond that was created between NKOTB and it’s fan base was something so special that it has yet to be replicated with any other musician. Thanks for givig us the oppurtunity to be ourselves again. You helped us come into our own in our teenage years and now that we are all practically women in our thirtys that have gone through life and defined ourselves, we now have to oppurtunity to enjoy you again with a whole new perspective. Better yet, we now get to share this with our kids…what a treat!

Well, Danny, we the fans feel like we have won the lottery twice!! I may be 37, and a wife, a mom, and have a career, but, right now, I’m like a giddy teenager again!! I have been listening to the songs from back n the day and I am singing as loud as ever (and, yes, still doing the moves-after I finally remembered how to do them-esp. “The Right Stuff” ’sidekick’-let’s just say I am glad I was home alone at that time…LOL). I second the best birthday present. My 30th birthday is tomorrow, and as much as I hoped a reunion would happen–I wasn’t so sure, but I’m always optimistic–when the red curtain opened, I felt the magic of my first concert again, Magic Summer Tour in 1990. I am extremely ecstatic that you guys have gotten back together. This is something that I have been waiting for. When you guys left us we felt like there was no warning. We felt lost when that happened.
I have been a fan since I was 15yrs old! I am now 33 and will always have you guys near and dear to my heart! I hope you get to come to Florida (Orlando, daytona). We’re all feeling very blessed with the news. A good friend was diagnosed with breast cancer in January, and since then, I have been really counting my blessings. I can proudly add the reunion of NKOTB as a wonderful blessing! I always knew you 5 would reunite, so I kept all my posters, audio & VHS tapes, and memorabilia neatly packed away. Being a military spouse and moving frequently, I have to tell you how tough it is to ensure my items don’t get damaged with each move!
I’m sure your kids are very proud of you and will share deeper admiration and respect for you when they see you perform. Beautiful memories and deeper bonding will develop between you and your children through this I’m sure.

WOW! It’s an exciting rush of young memories. My cousins and I share so many mpasts revolving around you guys from the concert to making up dances to every single song. Of course not to mention the secret crush for each of you….LOL. Our kids have grown up in such different times. They have yet to experience the craze. I’m just not sure who will be more excited, the teenie boppers or us middle aged living on memory lane…LOL. I’m sure your children are proud to share this with you as I will be to share w/ my babies. What’s great to me is I feel like i’m 13 again. And i’m sure i’m not the only one who’s parents couldn’t afford for them to go to a concert. And i’m so excited cause i’m grown now, and i can afford all on my own to go. I am SO excited about this. This is something we fans will never forget. It’s great to know you’re enjoying this too, and it’s not just WORK. Maybe your kids will recognize how cool their father is, and how lucky they are…..but the cool factor will probably wear off the second you tell them “no” to something, then you’ll just be “Pops” again. My 10 yr old son didn’t understand my NKOTB obsession, till his ‘cool’ teacher and his wife went to see you in NYC Friday. Now I’m cool…and he’ll be with me for the 5/16 show in NYC.

I am a married 32 year old with a 2 year old and another one on the way -due in September. I am originally from Ohio but now live outside of Charleston, SC. I have MANY wonderful memories of NKOTB from spending the night outside SEARS with my mom for concert tickets, to being carried away at the Clark County Fair due to dehydration (Jordan waved to me by the way!) I HONESTLY still have my New Kids posters up in my room at my parents house. I won’t let them take them down. How funny is that! I need to take a picture and submit it to the NKOTB website. I am sooo excited you guys are back!

Over the past few days, I’ve heard each of you say in your own way how blessed you are and how pleased you were to give us what we deserved. I want you to know that we deserve nothing more than what you’ve given us already. In fact, I would hope that you guys knew without a doubt that we’d be here, waiting, 100% behind you as soon as the reunion was announced. This relationship between you guys and the fans has always been about respect, and I think that has become evident over the past few days. We’re all the blessed ones. Times have changed and priorites have shifted for all of us…and yet, here we are…right where we started, ready to take this ride again. I can’t say that I ever thought this day would happen… but I am so very glad that it did.

Danny, it’s so nice to know that you guys really appreciate us fans because as silly as this may sound, it’s really hard to be a fan when people judge you based on your music taste. I am constantly having to defend you guys and myself (i.e. MTV newsroom feud-we’re boycotting them. Period.) but that’s the easy part because the talent you guys have exhibited has made it simple. I am all too excited to see you guys next month in NY. I’ll be flying in from California. I’m not going to beg you guys to come to San Francisco because wherever you are, that’s where I’ll be. The thought of going to one of your concert’s brings back memories of when I was a teenager and I was sure you guys saw me in the crowd at your concert and thought I was the right stuff. I can just laugh because I had every tape you made, pins, shirts, you name it. I actually have your greatest hits CD in my car that I listen to on the way home from work. Funny thing is my husband was just giving me grief for putting the NKOTB music on my ipod! I love the songs then and can’t wait for the new stuff. I knew, i knew, i knew it 
For all these years I have been secretly hoping for you guys to come back and here you are!!! I am one of those millions of women who were absolutely madly in love with you all those years ago (and maybe secretly still am a little bit :-)). My bedroom walls were covered in your posters, forcing my dad to make portrets of you for my birthday, waiting in front of the Hilton hotel in Rotterdam for 2 days just to catch a little glimpse of you (while doing this, a car almost bumped in to me and you even commented on that on a tv show in Holland :-)), my poor sister had to wait there with me, because I was still a bit too young to be there on my own, your bodyguard at that time (Biscuit) taking us for lunch into Burger King (yes, yes, yes) etc.etc. You were all a part of my teenage years and I have always found it hard to come to terms with it that that part of my life was history……. But nooooooooooo, YOU ARE BACK and I can’t wait to see you all again. And you know what, I would stand in front of that hotel again if I had to, just to relive those feelings all over again.
There is only one tiny thing I truly hope for and that is that you would come and visit Prague as you have never been on tour here before. I have seen you perform live in Holland 2 times(since then I have got problems with my voice from all the screaming, but who cares :-)), but I know that there are many many fans in the Czech Republic as well who would love to see you!!

It’s nice to have ya’ll back. Us moms
this is REALLY happening! Ya’ll are truly doing something special for us
fans. Ya know, it’s like you guys kind of went your own way. We were
starting high school (most of us) so we got distracted by “tangible”
boys and went our own way! Well some of us…all I cared about was
basketball! Anyway, we never forgot the special memories you guys gave us.
You 5 guys shared something special, but SO DID THE FANS! We experienced
something most FANS of other groups never did. So words can not express
how truly PROUD we are of all 5 of you. The love and support we have for
you will never die! And MY WORD…you guys are lookin’so good. You’re
doin’ it the right way! It’s amazing what can happen over 14 years.
You “boys” have grown up, but so HAVE WE! ha ha We don’t rock the tight
roll anymore–we rock the heels!

I have to admit over the last 17 years I was heart broken to see the NKOTB step down from the scene. I have never forgotten you guys and most importantly never fell out of love. Everyone looks as good now as you did then.
However Danny, you get the most improved award from me, there is something in your eyes that stand out above the rest. I am so excited about the tour and seeing you perform on May 16th. I will be there the night before sitting along the guard rails waiting for the performance of a life time!!!

Thank you for agreeing to do this reunion! It is such perfect timing for many of your fans!! A lot of us, like me, are in our late 20,s to mid 30’s..and just starting out with marriages, children of our own…mortgages…etc…It’s so nice and refreshing to be reminded of our younger years when we had less responsibilities, and totally lived for NKOTB!! What a nice surprise and a breath of fresh air! It is such wonderful timing for many of us!
As I said to Joey in his blog, I and my friends have gone from young teenagers screaming for you at your concerts…to now mature 30 years old Mommy’s and Wives, who will be once again screaming for NKOTB! There is something about all 5 of you together that is and has always been just RIGHT! It is just awesome to be able to be entertained by you talented guys all together again!

Danny!!! Well all I can say is I think it’s great you guys are back.. I have to admit, yes I am a 34 happily married mother of 2 but when I heard you guys were coming back i felt 15 again!! It is silly how music affects people and I was so thankful I had you guy’s music during some crazy times in my life.. I can hear one of your old songs, i know what it is usually in one tune and right away it takes me back… But like I’m said I’m grown now and very happy with my life and just want to thank you guys for putting out the music then and can’t wait to hear what you got now!! It’s amazing how much has changed since those days! My husband says at least now the fans are old enough to be wearing bras to toss up on stage…lol.
We had no internet back then so of course, we all sent fan mail the “old fashioned way”, now we just pop a paragraph out and press “Sumbit Comment”!
I’m so psyched about the group getting back together. NKOTB was such an integral part to my teen years…and my dreams. Wow, the money we spent on merchandise and magazines!

Your mother’s foundation site is beyond beautiful. I have visited the site several time, it’s just emotional. I feel lucky as my Dad recently went through colon cancer, and is a survivor (knock on wood). Chemo and all that goes with it…he is truly my hero…it makes one realize how important the little moments are…to just go and sit beside him in his hospital bed, for hours just sitting and reading and small talking because he felt so weak. Every time my son and my Dad are together…they are two peas in a pod, it’s awesome.
I’m a big supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society. I have ran the local relay for several year…I came to the sad conclusion that I can’t this year because of a weekend Master’s course, but I am doing a mini-relay with “my kids” (I’m a teacher), and we are holding an auction with paintings that represent “love” or daffodils (the Cancer Society flower)…they and I are super excited.
Anyways, best of luck, super excited to catch you guys somewhere on tour. Saw you during the “Magic Summer Tour” and a solo JK show in NYC a few years ago…time for a little reunion with the Jr. High ladies.

I FULLY agree about the website—made me cry,it was beautiful. I think a lot of us can agree with me that it feels like we knew her some– just from all the articles we read, interviews we watched and so on….you could see your strong bond with her.
Side note–you guys ROCK–and didnt have to repay us, but this is the PERFECT way to do just that

It’s funny….20 years ago, I went to camp (I was in 9th grade) and while I was there, met my best friend. We kept in touch, even when she and her family moved to Japan (her dad was a Marine). Soon afterwords, New Kids on the Block had songs on the radio and I was hooked. After they hit big in the USA, my friend wrote me a letter saying “I love this group called New Kids on the Block!” We bonded over the New Kids and we had our favorites (her’s was Donnie, mine, Danny). We learned the dances (I even tripped over my own two feet and landed head first into the couch!) and taped the videos & television talk shows & concerts.
This May will mark our 20th friendship-anniversary and ironically, the New Kids on the Block are coming back 20 years after their release of Hangin’ Tough. We’ve grown up, have full time jobs, etc. but the New Kids still make us smile and laugh like we’re 15 all over again.
Thank you for helping us relive those memories! It’s been awesome! And we promise to leave the dancing to the New Kids.

Danny, your mother’s site is absolutely beautiful. It made me cry. I lost my mom 10 yrs ago in March, not to breast cancer. My mom was such a big part of my New Kids days. She drove me and my friends around looking for the hotels you guys were staying in and actually snuck us on the service elevator to the floor you guys were staying on. The things mother’s will do for their children.
I know she would be as excited as all of us fans are that you guys are back together.
We must always remember the legacies and memories that they left to us. They are always watching over us and now they live on through our children.
My dad is winning his battle with colon cancer. When something like this comes in to our lives, we take a moment to reaize how precious our time is here on earth. We must never leave friends and family with bad words and always remember to tell them how much we love them.

I can remember when I was 12yrs old how much I loved the New Kids on the block,it seems just like yesterday not 14 yrs ago that we last heard them together.I love all you guys but Joey and Jordan were the two that I like the most but dang Danny likes hott.I cant wait til you guys come to VA,Ohio,or Indiana cause men I’ll be there. I didnt get to go when I was younger but I’m going now, my daughter even wants to go with me shes only 6 and she loves you guys to. I was so excited to see all five of you together on friday on the today show. You guys all look great and so polished. I have been waiting so long to hear that you guys are going to get back together that when I actually heard it I think I was put into a state of shock. I dont know if it shocks you that so many people are still such huge fans but it doesnt suprise me. You all are so talented and it was just a matter of time before you guys came back to WOW us again. Danny, As many before me have already said we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for you guys returning to give us some more your great talent. I have hoped this time would come and knew it would eventually, I never gave up hope. I know many of us have basically shared the same story, but it is truly amazing our your music has had the same effect on so many people around the world. I feel as though there is a part of me who is 16 years of age again, it is almost crazy how excited I am about this reunion. I have to say that I took a trip to Boston and was able to meet everyone except for Jon, and to this day those are the MOST memorable memories of my life. Ironically I had recently taken my pics of you guys to work not too long ago, and now you guys are all over the news again. Talk about putting things out in the universe… guess the power of attraction really does work
Any how I am looking forward to hearing all the new music, and I am already planning to attend some concerts just awaiting to hear the concert dates. In the mean time take care!

I am not sure if you read these. But, I just have to say something; to be honest with you I never really gave much notice to you back 15+ years ago. Today, I have heard some of your solo music and I have to say your voice and your music is VERY good. I hope I am not offending you, but I see you in a totally different light. You are truly a very talented person.
On another note, I went on your mothers rememberbettty website and I was so touched, my mother has had breast cancer twice and I just want to say that I am extremely sorry for your loss. Your words about your mother truly touched me. I am a mother myself and I really hope that one day when my children are older they feel the same way about me as you did and will always feel for your mother. It is such a beautiful thing! Danny of all the rumers I heard years back that everyone had there own lives and that was it for the band here you guys are, Im excited! Its funny how years ago in the 90’s I was obsessed at 14 years old with a band like a regular teenage girl and not at 32 yrs old I can see myself being the same way all over again and it feels great! I was the internet was around more back in the day! I hope you guys come on a tour to Canada!
Do you guys have a fan club? Years ago you did, I tried to join and send and get things but I guess with a billion other girls my mail got lost! ha ha ha

I also wanted to add that I just recently checked out your rememberbetty site and I wanna say that im deeply sorry to hear about her passing away. My father died of brain and lung cancer when I was 14, so I know how difficult it is losing a loved one to cancer. It was an upwards and downwards battle for many months, until his passing, and I know hes looking down on me and watching me from heaven, as your mother is doing with you. Again, im truly sorry for your loss and im sure shes very proud of the person that you’ve become. Good luck with the tour and i’ll be sure to see you guys in concert!

I was touched by your blog! You feel like you’ve won the jackpot, I have been on “cloud 9″ since Friday!! I still have a hard time believing it, even when I’m online every day to check sites and realize it is true!!!!!
The first thing I noticed was you guys still send out that same positive energy as you always did. It is good to see things haven’t changed among the 5 of you! And you still bring a smile to my face. Thanx for going on this journey and taking us along for the ride. As far as sharing it with our kids: my eldest daughter (turning 7) always knew who the NKOTB were, but I am proud to let her know who the NKOTB turned into!!!! Im the youngest one in my office and no one understood how i felt…i compared it to the Beatles for them. My two friends, and sister traveled to NY to see you from South Jersey…got a hard lesson on the NY Subway routs, hobbeled on crutched through the streets of NY and stood in the rain to see you guys after a long over due 15 years. I would do it again in a heart beat. And Donny! Your kiss made it even more worth it. My knees literaly went weak. Can’t wait for the new album, and the concerts! I WILL BE THERE!

Hey Guys… I love the fact that you guys are back together. It’s a great feeling to hear you guys are back. I went to the Today show to show my support and you guys look better than ever.
Me and my girls have had the pleasure of meeting Jordan in Cabo San Lucas…We have also meet Danny, Joe and Jon. And they have been very sweet. Donnie I saw for the first time on the Today show.
It has been because of Jordan that me and my friends are now the best of Friends. We meet at a Jordan Knight concert and now we feel like sisters.
I just wanted to ask If I may are you planning to go somewhere international. Reason I ask I always talk to lots of fans in Chile and they would be ecstatic to see you in that country.
But guys thank you for making our childhood so memorable…you guys will always be the best in our books.

I must say that I was quite disappointed when I watched “VH1 bands reunited” to see that you guys didn´t want to get back together and sing to your fans. But what did not expect was that you guys played a trick on us! Seeing you guys again is the greatest blessing your fans could ever have. I´m a huge fan of yours since I was 13. It was a shame I was too young to see you playing live at Rock in Rio here in Brazil, but now everything is different. I´m definetely going to the USA just too see you guys. That´s the only wish I have.

I have to say that it is so great that you and the guys are back together. I know you all have been off doing new things and spending time with your families, but this will be a nice change for you all.
It is so weird to think of you all with families, as it is also weird to know that pretty much all of your fans now have families. Do you think it will be harder to tour because of the families? As you know, we are pretty crazy when it comes to the five of you. Do you think it will still be fun to be loved and chased by millions, or do you think it will be scarier or more annoying becuase you are family men know?

I am so excited about the reunion. It will give my daughters the opportunity to see the group I was so fond of when I was teenager. A big “THANK YOU” from all of your fans, as most can probably say, this reunion will allow those young girls at heart, whom did not get to see you perform, perform.
You are offering a second chance for them and most do not get that; myself included, my mother never could have afforded to send me to a concert (a young girls dreams crushed, ha ha).
I truly enjoyed your music and will continue to be a lifelong fan. Thanks so much for giving your fans a second chance!!!!

I can’t believe it, that NKOTB are back together after all this time. When I’ve heard this news , first I thought it was a joke, and then I’ve seen the news on the net, and then i said, now it’s for real.
It’s really incredible, cause I rememember the first time that I saw you, as if it was yesterday. I was a teenager, so i couldn’t go alone to the concert. And I asked to my big sister (by the way, who wasn’t a fan at all) to come with me ( “Paris Bercy” - “POPB”and she said “YES” waouh,it was magic.
And now I’m 30, and i’m still excited, it’s really funny, this feeling that I have.

I can not even begin to express the excitement you boys have given me. We never stopped loving you and can not wait to see more of you as we do it all over again! Just wish I could still fit into all those old T-shirts!! LOL!! I actually met you last April when you played Durty Nellie’s in Palatine, IL. That was seriously one of the greatest moments I have ever lived. I could smell your cologne on my shirt the rest of the night! LOL! Wish I could attach a picture for you but it’s cool just knowing I’m one of your drunk girls!

i think that this is great… for all the fans who have checked over the years too see what has become of nkotb, i am married now, i have a great husband and a wonderful son, but it is nice to think that i can relive my teenage years one more time after all that is what we all hope for at one point in our adulthood, i have so many memories attached to nkotb and too think that for one night i can look back on those memories and remember is the best feeling in the world. i am looking forward to the music to come and the music of the past. all i can say is i am glad you guys are back and thanks for the old memories and the new ones to come!!! cant wait to see you in wisconsin,

Okay, I am 32 years old and feel like I am 13,14 again….=0) Wow, seeing you guys back together again brings back so many memories….big hair, posters all over my walls back home in Philly, being on Dance Party USA as a regular dancer and seeing 3 of you guys for the New Years Eve special back in 1990! I remember wanting to get a picture with you, Danny, so badly and for whatever reason, it never happened and I was crushed…=0(

Hello everyone, At the age of the BIG 30 I finally got to live out my dream and meet you guys! Let me just say …THANK YOU!!! Everyone thought I was “nuts” driving up from Toronto to NYC last min just to even catch a glimps of one of you guys, Ha… I made everyone so jelous when I came back home with unbelievable pic’s and stories to tell my fam & bar customers all about getting a kiss on the cheak from Donnie and getting a cheak to cheak pic with Joe Mac to getting sexy pic’s of you Danny! It was so worth the 9hour drive and the 10 hour line up in the rain! Danny it was so nice just to see you all in person,haveing the chance to actally ask you all questions, and being able to look into Donnie’s eyes when I asked him if he’d still be “thrusting” in concert! Ha..I even make myself lol sometimes! Talk about a “ballsy question”!
Anyways, for 2 months now I have been planning a NKOTB Bar Night Out in T.O just to celebrate your return (April 12th). We will be taking over the sports bar that I bartend in for 1 whole night, having “named New Kids Drinks with matching flag straws, wall to wall life size New kids posters and NKOTB music all night long with free pool (just for the first 80 fans that get in the door b4 we reach capacity!) It’s going to be a blast…JUST A BUNCH OF CANADIAN NKOTB FANS SINGING OUR HEARTS OUT DRINKING THE NIGHT AWAY in your honnor. (sorry about the “novel” lol)

Thank you for your lovely message.I have been your huge fan since I was 14 and when I think about it I never really stopped being your fan. Now am 29.I told my mother about your reunion and she said that finally I have my chance to see you guys. Everyone in my family knew about you guys they couldnt avoid it because me. As I said in Joes message I spend my youth in the war area and at that time for me and my friends your music has been a way to run from everything what was going on around us and just act as normal teens-we were all crazy about you guys. So, I made myself a promise that one day I will grab a chance and go for one of your concerts. Ha..here is it..after 15 years my wish can be fulfilled. Its not just about that..seriously I got tired of the kind of music they play nowadays..it is just hurting my ears:)..oh 80ths-90ths were the time of some real music..

There has never been a group to match NKOTB. I have even made my friends fans over the years since the split. We have NKOTB evenings when we get drunk and dance around the room to the video’s.

i am beyond excited for this! It is sooo over due! My daughter loves to listen to my New Kids music. I am glad being a crazy NKOTB fan will pay off in my adult years too. Love you guys!! You also have a very nice tribute to your mother at http://www.rememberbetty.org.It makes me appreciat my mother who one the fight with breast cancer 15 years ago. She is now helping to take care of my 8 year old son on the days I have to work. Being 35 it also makes me more aware that being checked for breast cancer needs to me a norm, since you have to think of the one’s you leave behind.

I got into NKOTB a little late in the ballgame, so it’s nice to see that you guys are getting back together. That way those of us that have never seen you in concert can get a chance to do so.
When you guys first came out, I think I was in high school, and I was turned off of your music (before even hearing it) because of all the girls discussing - Who’s cuter, Joey or Jordan? - off of that, I decided that I didn’t care to hear your music. But being the big Arsenio fan that I was when you guys would appear on that show, and I’d watch, just to check out what all the hoopla was about. The music was good. But the thing that caught my eye the most was your comradery, the friendships, the bond between you guys, which I thought was awesome.
I hope to see you all in concert sometime this year if you come to Phoenix.

Hi Danny,
I am so happy for all you guys! (For us too, since I have always wished that you got back together) I honestly wish you all the success and happiness in this new endeavor because you are all so talented and deserve to be not only remembered but noticed.
When I was a kid, I was a hard-core “blockhead” and had the great fortune to have moved to Boston in 1987, when you guys were getting really famous. I moved for medical reasons with my family, from South America.
Eventually we moved to Miami (I heard that you live here now?) but not before BEGGING my mom to drive us to all your houses so that my sister and I could see them and possibly meet you. You guys were not there, of course…But I wanted to tell you a story of what happened when we got to your house.
We arrived to the door and your dad had just gone outside to water the lawn (I think that is what he was doing…It’s been a long time, after all). He approached us and thanked us for visiting…He was SO FRIENDLY! I will never forget though, that your mom overheard us talking at the door and came out to greet us. She had a fresh batch of cookies in her hands and offered some to us. I will never forget what an amazing woman I thought her to be. I send you my deepest condolences for her passing. At the same time, I wanted to tell you that, even though I am sure you know this, she thought the world of you and was more than proud. She went on and on…On what an amazing kid you were. Your parents saw us so excited, that they asked us if we were going to the concert, we said that we were going to the one in Miami because we were moving there…THey told us that they would try to look for us (Mind you, the concert was going to be MORE THAN SIX MONTHS FROM THAT DAY)
THe day of the concert, THEY HAD REMEMBERED WHERE WE WERE SITTING…and came to say hello, and brought the rest of the “new kids parents” I can’t tell you what a memory that left in my heart forever. I did not get a chance to meet you guys then, but I met all your parents.
You see, I am disabled (born with Spina Bifida) and use a wheelchair, so the only disabled seats available at Joe Robbie Stadium at the time were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the back, it was so far from the stage that even the giant screens looked small from where I was. This is why I was so moved, because your parents realized that I was going to go because of my love to you guys and the music, and because I had had three surgeries almost a year and a half before that.
I am going to do the impossible to make it to the concert when you guys come to Miami again (will you, please?). This time, I hope to have saved enough money to afford the best seats in the house, only I HOPE that they have decent disabled seating available. I also hope to get backstage passes, if they are available.
I so hope to meet all of you (I did meet Jordan back in 1999 at Virgin Records in Miami, he was AWESOME) this time around. I would love to give you a hug and tell you and the guys that your music means the world to me.
You all have come back in such an opportune moment, when good is needed in the world. I firmly believe in the power of art (I am an artist now) to evoke change, move, bring joy…All things that are so needed in this war-ladened world of today.

Thanks Danny for the beautiful message. I remember when I first saw the band and how down to earth you all were. That was one thing about you guys, you never lost sense of where you came from and were always so appreciative of the support from the fans. The time and attention that the group devoted personally to the fans was so unique. I still have my autographed picture.

I am glad you are back. I remeber my younger sister waiting for your videos on that one hour tv show. We all had to do “the dance” I like your song,very contemporary and flows nice. I just took note of the site dedicated to your mom. I am so sorry for your loss. As a mother, and simply still having my mom around now while I take on life as a wife and mother, I cannot imagine how you endured losing her, but your site to her and the song and the beauty of your words to her, I cried reading it all , sitting here with my 4 yr old daughter. What gave me chills is how you describe your little girl kissing you like only your mom did, my youngest has done similar with regards to my now deceased grandmother. Unbelievable. God bless you and your children, and know that your mom is now a perfect angel guiding your hand at parenting, and your children’s lives.

I just saw ur website in memory of your mam. I didn’t know she had passed away and couldnt help but to shed a tear because it was such a beautiful tribute. So tasteful and warm! I am convinced that she is watching over you and your family every minute still loving you every bit as much as when she was with you.
just wanted to let you know how touched I was. My grandmother has cheated death by very malignant aggressive breast cancer twice in her life. She is my inspiration and my rock in stormy weather!
The way you described her reminds me of a lovely lady that was my “stand-in mam” when I moved from Sweden to Dublin. Our paths crossed and like you said..Im proud to be able to call her mam (eventhough she wasnt by blood..I do have a fantastic mother here in Sweden too, just she was too far away then).
Anyway..I wot go on

Wow, can’t believe it’s true!!! Those were good times, my friends and I jumping in the car and going to the next concert, trying to find out what hotels you were staying at and getting to meet you guys. The happiest day of my life is when “Uncle Rob” was able to get me close to you for a picture… I cried my eyes out and couldn’t say a word to you. What a happy time in my life, you guys were and are great! I was 16 when you guys hit the scene and for god, I don’t even remember how many years, you made our lives exciting. Super, super excited! I got 5 other girlfriends together and we are making our way to NYC for the TODAY show. We also plan on going to Toronto for the concert there. You guys were my first concert when I was 10 years old, you played at the dome in Syracuse NY. It was awesome!!! I am really looking forward to seeing you guys perform. Hi Danny- I feel like we’re having a big family reunion. I grew up with the 5 of you and experienced many of the same life stages as the years went on - from age 10 to 30!! Because I’ve always felt like a hidden member of ALL your families, I felt like I knew your family as much as I knew you. With that, I want to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom, Betty. I know it’s been a few years but I just visited your website and saw the news. The stories and pictures are wonderful, brought back lots of memories. I lost my mom to lung/thyroid cancer a few years ago and my son and I were sitting the same way you described yourself and Daniel, Jr. It is a true loss though I know she is doing flip flops in heaven for your return to the spotlight. Danny I know that it has been quite a while since your mom passed away but I just noticed it with your website that you posted here. Just wanted to tell you that the song you sing in rememberbetty.org is just amazing and brings a warm feeling as I too remember the life of my mother. I too understand what it is too see the person you most loved in a condition that there is nothing, physically or economically you can do to get them out of that horrible pain, or even save them. So sorry for your loss and pain. This tour of NKOTB brings back memories of when I was a teen and my mother was still alive and well and everything was great in my life. Hopefully this tour will also do the same for you.

As a 16 year old girl, I fell in love with a band that played the best music I have ever heard. I put most of my focus on you guy’s as my friends were starting to stray down a road that I couldn’t go down. I spent my money on hotel rooms and concerts. Also on tapes and magazines. You guy’s indirectly saved me from drugs and many other bad things. It is because of your talent that I focused so intently on you and because I focused so intently on you I couldn’t focus on the drugs that were everywhere around me. Obviously, I made it to adulthood. I can now look back at the concerts I attended and the good times I had and think that there is so much more to come. We are all going to be blessed with your music once again and the one thing that makes me the happiest is that I get to share it with my daughter. She is just as excited as I am to see you guy’s come back. I just hope that it lasts for a long time. Hang in there and good luck on tour. Can’t wait to catch you in Kansas City.

I FINALLY got to see you after all these years! I cannot believe how fortunate I was. I mean, I wasn’t up close but I was there in NYC and I saw you in real life! I was so happy! I didn’t think I would ever hear about New Kids again. Now that I think back to how much of a fan I was when I was a little teen and how much me and my friends loved you, it’s so weird to hear all about you again but here we are.
And I have to say thank you so much for coming back. You were all so cute all those years ago but now, you are all SO HANDSOME and it’s such a weird feeling to see you.
Danny, I love all of the New Kids but you have always been my favorite. Hmm, maybe this time I’ll be able to see you in concert. I missed out on the opportunity to buy tickets but I’m hoping to win some. Do you think I could meet you some day? : )

Hey Guys I am so excited that you guys are doing this and sad at the same time I will not be able to partake of the joy of being at NKOTB Concert. There are many reasons which I will not bore you with but I do have a story to share with you guys. I was about 13 and you guys were making an appearance on Oprah. I came home from school my Mother had closed off the basement for me to spend that hour watching you guys she told my siblings that I was in the basement and that no one was to disturb me. It was one of the best moments of my life. The times I spent listen and singing along with you guys helped to shape in to the woman I am today. Donnie I would like to give you a special shout out for the things you said that encouraged me to finish my education. Now I know that a lot of it is Hollywood PR stuff at the heart of it I think you guys stayed true to most of what you put out there

Just wanted to say i’m really excited for the new tour! I went to my first NKOTB concert in when I was 9, now im almost 30 and still get excited when I hear a New Kid’s song play! Just wanted to let all of you know I’m glad your back.
On another note, I’m sorry for the loss of your mother….I checked out the link you left in your blog and I’ve made a donation through paypal. My best friend’s mom also died of breast cancer, and I thank you for all that you are doing in the fight.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that last Thursday night when I drove from RI to NYC with my friends to see you at the Today Show was the first time in my entire life that I stayed up all night–36 hours straight to be exact!–even longer than my crazy teen days or when I had my babies. I did that just to see you!!! Hey, it was a fun time and didn’t hurt at all.

How funny we all have grown up! I just want to say how proud I am of all of you for continuing on your own paths of growth and exploration after you all left NKOTB. You all gave us such fun and blew our young imaginations out for so many years! I have always kept up with your careers (those who remained public), and I am so happy for you all to have found love, children, partners in life, and continued love of family. I will be 34 this month, but I have memories and relationships I would never have had, that survive to this day, threaded togehter via “fanship/blockheadedness” or simply my a teenage love for you guys! I even met my now husband due to those ties!! Funny how life works?! But we love you! Hope you have continued success(es) during this tour and beyond!!! Take Care!

Hello Danny, I just about cried reading that. I just wanted you to know that it is so refreshing for me to know that I wasn’t alone either all of these years jamming to the old stuff in my car. When I heard the announcements about you getting back together, tears literally came to my eyes. I just saw that you had a possible tour date in Michigan and I am going to do everything that I can to get tickets. When I was growing up, my family didn’t have enough money to get tickets to one of your shows, but my parents always taped your concerts on PPV for me and I felt like I was there, jumping around in the living room.LOL. those days…..Anyway, at this moment I still cannot afford to go, after I looked at the prices, I am a single mother in college, but I will not let that stop me. I still have time to make it happen. There is no way I am going to let this chance of a lifetime pass me by again. Keep up the great work. I love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny… I don’t even know if you read these, but I just wanted to leave this message for you! It doesn’t actually have anything to do with your blog, except that the web address for your mum’s site was at the bottom. I just wanted to let you know that the song that plays on your mum’s site is absolutely beautiful. Did you write it? My mum died only three months ago today, from ovarian cancer. I was sad today and I was just looking around this site reflecting on the old days when I was a teenager and absolutely obsessed with you guys! Then I saw the address for your rememberbetty site, so I looked and I listened and I read what you wrote. Mum’s are the most beautiful, special people in the world, and I love what you are doing for your mum. I want to do something to raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer too. It is such a hideous disease that less than 25% of people who get it actaully survive. Anyways, your song, and photos made me cry, and if you read this, I want you to know that I think it’s great that you did that. Thank you.

DEVASTATED FAN HERE, FELLAS: So the morning after the MMVAs, which you totally rocked, I was thrilled to hear your interviews on a few Toronto radio stations while riding in to work. Made my day, I was so happy just to have heard them. Turns out a little later that morning, all of you except Donnie showed up at the station DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM WHERE I WORK and I had no idea!! I am so absolutely devastated that I missed you, I feel sick to my stomach.
I am a huge fan and have adored you guys from the start, but I grew up in Nova Scotia and never had any opportunities to meet you or even see you in concert, and I haven’t had any luck since moving to Toronto. Knowing that I had the chance to see you in person but missed it breaks my freakin’ heart. I’m having serious difficulty coping with the fact that you were literally a 90 second walk from my desk and I wasn’t there! Good lord. My only hope now is that when you come back to Toronto in September, you go back to that station (Z103.5) – PLEASE!
Missing you the other day is my own damn fault, but I just had to throw this out there because I know I’m going to regret it forever. Again, the station is Z103.5.

I lost my Mum 4 years ago this July and I understand the fight to heal through the pain. My Mum and I shared quite a similar last conversation together and remembering THAT helps with my own healing. I would first like to say thanks for coming back as you have made this 36yr youngs day. I am new to this blogging thing so bare with me… i read most of the posts that were there and i was very moved by the website for your mom…. i am glad that you are doing what you can do help the fight against breast cancer. I do have a friend that was battling cancer and when i found out… i tried to learn as much about the disease as i could it was non hodgkin’s lymphoma. It was so hard to see him go through it but as hard as it was for me it was even harder for him. He is now in remission and i thank God for that. I to wanted to do my part to fight CANCER so ever since i found out about his battle i have been doing the CIBC run for the cure this year would be my 6th year doing it….. i will do it until they find a cure and no one will have to suffer through it anymore…. i am sorry for your loss and stay strong in the memories of your mom……..

I think that I can say that for millions of fans around the world now , when I say that WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE YOU BACK !!
Honestly, through the past 14 years we have seen numerous Copies of you guys - Backstreet Boys, NSYNC,… you name’em - but they all never even reached close to your level.
Me personally, I have moved across the ocean a few times, always with you guys in my suitcase aswell as in my heart. Ofcourse, several posters just didn’t survive, but all the Videos and Tapes, Cd’s and Books are still there… waiting for an addition.
